When I arrived they wanted to charge me a $99 diagnostic fee, and told me it would likely cost me $300 for a keyboard replacement as AppleCare doesn't cover keyboard defects. This is even before looking at the issue in depth. Called them out on it, and the person helping me was a little too "grippy" with my device after I asked for it back. Got the device back into my hands navigating the awkward not letting go of my device, and called Apple immediately after. From some other reviews looks like they overcharge for covered warranty work, in hopes of getting a lien on peoples devices and selling it. Whatever their shady motivations Watch Out! Apple said absolutely covered under warranty and AppleCare+ accidental (if not a warranty repair) and would be $99 if it was damaged caused by me regardless of extent of damages. This place is a bunch of scammers, came here to support a local business instead of going to the mall Apple Store. I can only imagine what they do to older and less informed people. **UPDATE**: As expected, Apple shipped me out a box next day, shipped device in, and it came back next day. She came home to bring it to the apple store. According to apple they only ran tests on the computer which apple said should have only taken 5 minutes instead of the 1.5 hours they charged her for. On top of that they did not replace any parts which would be the only reason to charge according to apple. Not only was it done and charged, but Seth and Matthew, who executed the repair, emailed us instructions on how to use a computer to bypass the (broken) power button and how to get photos and data off the phone (a primary concern). So when the big retailers tell you that you need a new phone, I recommend you first check with the tech savvy staff of Monster Buy back. They saved us hundreds of dollars AND rescued our pictures and data. They also sell phones (including unlocked and used) and accessories, tho I did not need any of those this time.

He didn't say "Could you please wait outside, I can only have 4 customers in here at a time." He said "Get outside, you can't be in here right now." From what I understand Store employees are required to wear masks at the time. Not this guy, he must be special because all the customers were masked. The micro ribbon cables are extremely fragile. After the repair, there was an issue with the flashlight on my phone. As I mentioned earlier, it's one of the most fragile designs, and failures happens quite often. I could not be more impressed with the way Kerem of Dr. Phone Repair in the Hagerstown, MD Valley Mall stood by his work.
