Even though I was there during a holiday weekend, the staff was helpful and even a bit cheery. This was a huge feat considering how many excited children were running about. I didn't spend too much time checking out the courts, but from what I saw they looked very nicely kept. Here's hoping I get another invite to da club come summer!

But the facilities are vast and clean, and I the inside layout and design of this YMCA kind of reminds me of the Chasco in Round Rock, TX People here have always been nice and welcoming, it is aesthetically pleasing to see this building when you arrive and it is also pretty popular yet never seems too overcrowded. My husband who is a cancer patient, can barely walk and is having hip surgery on May 21st, 2026…read more He talked with a woman at the Y (Saturday) on the telephone as he cannot walk into the Y to give notice to "Put his Membership on Hold" until he receives a clearance from his surgeon, most likely the end of July. She was very nice, asked him several questions and assured him that on Monday, she would have the Form emailed to him. IT NEVER happened! On Monday, Jim called and left a voicemail on the Y phone. NO CALL BACK! Where is the Indianland Y's compassion, when we are worrying about illness and pending surgery that they can't acknowledge the fact that an elderly man cannot come to the Y and personally request to have his "Membership'" put on hold. Jim was a member of the cancer exercise Group until he could no longer attend. I would like someone to reach out and help us with this lack of compassion and communication. I am 84 and have vision issues and do not drive so I can't go to the Y and act on his behalf.

I'm not sure it is worth the cost but a decent introduction to cheer. She was consistently placed at the end of pyramids to lift other girls which I wish she had the chance to be rotated. She was adamant about a 7 year old girl not wearing leggings during the winter season for practice (when it was 40 degrees outside or lower). With back and forth emails to document the conversation. My husband had to call personally to ensure the message got across! Additionally, my last interaction asking a simple question was quickly brushed off without answering the actual question. We won't be returning next fall.

Each time, Coach Caleb takes the time to explain the "why" so that my son can understand the correct way to approach his swing and pitching motion. It's so much more than professional instruction; it's passionate people who love the game pouring into these kids, developing their skills, and helping them understand the game and learn what it means to trust the process. This spring was our first season on an HQ4 travel team, and it was a fantastic experience. Coach Deja and Coach Max made an incredible coaching team. We watched our girls improve with every tournament, both individually and as a team. I'd have probably given 2.5 stars instead of 3. The cracks do affect play and could cause someone to trip. A couple of the courts are very close to Sardis Road and you have to shout to have the calls heard when there is traffic going by. The restroom and changing facilities are clean and kept up well.

They even got some fun swag from local sponsors, and I really love that community-first aspect of supporting the kids through play. ​The best part of the week was seeing my son discover a real love for basketball.
