K&K was able to take up old engineered hardwood and install new engineered hardwood in my entire condo in just three days. The staff worked hard, but with care, right down to placing furniture on cardboard so it wouldn't damage my new floors, and vacuuming up wood scraps at the end of the day so my cat wouldn't get a splinter. When it turned out my dishwasher was leaking, they even helped me remove it so we could put new floors under it. Overall, I would 100% recommend this company. They did great work, and offered great customer service too.

Basically, we needed our entire house redone which we knew was not a cheap venture. We got quotes from many different companies, and ultimately went with K&K because we felt the most comfortable with them. When John came to do the quote, we weren't sure exactly what we could afford, so we asked him to provide us with multiple quotes based on different types of floors and based on the number of rooms we wanted done (we weren't sure we could afford to do the whole house at one time). John provided us with all the quotes very quickly, whereas other companies required me to send multiple emails reminding them that we wanted some split quotes. Because of John's quick response and reasonable prices, we decided K&K was the company for us. We did three rooms of carpet, 3 rooms of luxury vinyl, and two sets of stairs with risers. However, Paul was the lowest pressure of the 3 -- the other 2 companies were very pushy and were going for an upsell -- whereas Paul was willing to work with me within the budget I set. The quality of materials Garage Living used were also significantly better than the competitors (made-in-Canada aluminum shelving/cabinets vs. made-in-China MDF from the competitors). The crew was very punctual during the reno, made sure to text me each morning and evening when they were arriving, when they left, what was left to do, and when to expect them the next day. All in all, the results were worth every penny. We added overhead storage, a poly-coated floor, a slatwall on one side, and built in metal cabinets and workbench. After having some issues with the countertop company our GC wanted to use, we decided to try finding our own and went to Richstone, just based on reviews. The first thing that I liked was that the rep in the store - ours was Tina - was actually helpful - helpful in suggesting colors, helpful in providing all kinds of information that no one had provided us with before. It took us months to decide on the stone for the countertop, and she was ever patient and responsive. When we finally chose one, it turned out to be really hard to get - and yet, Richstone managed to get it relatively quickly and way faster than the contractor we'd originally been with had told us it would take. Before the install, we got a proof showing exactly how it would look on the counter (and it did end up looking exactly like the proof). The measurement process was painless, quick, and accurate. Installation was way better than we had even hoped for - they were fast, neat, and the finished product was absolutely perfect. It is the one installation in the whole kitchen that actually went according to plan. So they came when they were supposed to, they did the job they were supposed to do, they did it right, and we love the countertops. Moreover, I felt like Richstone guided us through the process and Tina did a lot of hand-holding that I needed, because honestly all of this is pretty confusing and intimidating for a first-timer.
