What a pathetic place. My 65 yr old brother was admitted there 48 hours ago and he has already been robbed of his cash (Housekeeping person took it), they failed to give him his medications AND he sat in his soiled pants for 5 hours despite him ringing the "nurse call button". Would not recommend this place to an enemy, let alone a loved one. I wouldn't give this place 1 STAR rating, but this website forces you to click at least one. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. This place is disgusting not clean at all. They robbed a couple of things from my aunt who is getting treatment here. It is absolutely disgusting and the bed she was on was broken. Stay away from this place it is horrible. This place should be shut down immediately. My husband was in Crestview Court for twenty plus days. As his wife I was pleased with the staff, Doctors, nurses and the therapists. I was there ever day and they took good care of my husband, Bobby. They were friendly and caring just like family; loving. read more

I don't want to give them ANY stars!!! This place is absolutely horrible. The staff lacks professionalism and thinks that their substandard ethics are ok. There are elderly individuals sitting in soiled diapers. I witnessed one lady ask to be taken to the restroom and the staff IGNORED her. I told them that the lady was asking to go to the restroom and they replied "we know" and went back to doing nothing! If you have loved ones that need the assistance of a skilled nursing facility, please pass by this place! Don't take them there!! And an aide told my godmother that she needed to get use to sitting in her spoils! Who says that??? The health department will be notified asap about this place. They are horrible and proud of it. I know good help is hard to find, but they need to keep looking!! Taking our loved one out of this place!!! read more

I only gave them 1 star because the facility located in CEDAR HILL TX is nice. But other than that, the service is horrible. I wouldn't send my dog to go there to get better. THEY DO NOT CARE!! Please do not send your loved ones to that awful place. Nice facility but the staff is rude and unprofessional. My dad was sent there after he got out of the hospital to get better but his health declined and he died less than 2 weeks after been there. To add insult to injury, Crestview never called me or my family to let us know that my dad was rushed to the hospital . We found out this info b/c someone from the medical exam office called to tell us that my dad died. Crestview never called to give their condolences. All I know is after visiting him, he was doing well and then the next day I get a call saying he's gone. Prior to him passing away my dad stayed soiled. My dad was a 79yr old fragile man and they would handled him aggressively. I complained but there was nothing ever done about it. I also had to remind the staff on several times to change him and give him his medicine. When asked the CNAs were very mean spirited and rude. They lack empathy and compassion. Oh and one more other thing, they would leave my dad along for hours without checking on him. I regret sending my dad to that place. I have to live with that bad decision for the rest of my life. It was a death trap for him because of their negligence. Please if you love you loved ones. DO NOT and I REPEAT DO NOT send them there. read more

I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone. They are short staff and are not able to meet the needs of their patients because of it. Most staff are rude and ignore you and the patient in the hallway. Administration will meet with you when filing a complaint, and will follow through the next day. But within a matter a day or two, things are back to the way they were. read more

i am being generous with the 1 star since there was no minus star, this place was horrible. my relative s son put her in this place to die in misery apparently but her grandson and i broke her out. they never got her out of bed, would not respond to her request to go to bathroom, for at least 30 minutes and once 1 1/2 hours, had never had a shower. this is a woman that is 91, recovering from pneumonia and sent there from hospital. the food was disgusting in appearance and taste. she had not eaten for 4 days when we arrived with chocolate malt that she requested and popeye's chicken. it was like watching a starving person eat. disgusting and their fear of being reported to the state prompted them to refund the huge sum they charge. this is very sad that seniors are treated in this manner, don't just drop by and see your parents/grandparents for a feel good moment, investigate! read more

I DO NOT recommend taking your loved ones to Crestview. My father was there for rehabilitation but was treated as if he was there as a nursing home patron who was about to die. His health DECLINED instead of improving. Patients, including my father, are given strong narcotics to keep them quite and appear zombie like. They are understaffed, lack empathy and ignore patients unless a family member keeps remind them of the patients needs. If you care for your loved one, PLEASE do not take them to Crestview. read more

The only star this place deserves is for the occupational therapy and like 2 or 3 techs that had any kindness about them. Nurses and staff were rude and had no idea what was going on or what they were supposed to be doing. I had to go after a surgery and thanks to the incompetence from this facility, I did not heal correctly and needed another surgery to heal correctly. The did not converse with the surgeon when the site came open and lead me to believe that they did. Surgeon was very upset as was I about the care I received here. Never again, do not send your loved ones here, or even the ones you don't love. It's a joke. read more

My mom spent 20 days in the rehab program at Crestview Court. She was discharged on 12/25/2017. Her foot was swollen and her shoes wouldn't fit. She was incapable of walking from her chair to the bathroom. She was incapable of getting up off the toilet (she called the paramedics). There was no one there to discuss a plan of care or to review her ability to function on her own. In the 20 days she was there, she never had a shower, even after her family received a firm commitment for her to receive one. The list of problems and disappointments goes on and on. The only positive aspect was the food which was very good. I would NOT RECOMMEND this facility for rehab! read more

I wouldn't even let my dog stay here ...The nurses and CNA's fabulous !!!!!!!!social worker therapist doctors aren't worth a crap. I wouldn't ever recommend anyone to put their loved one in their facility ...... All they care about is getting your parents money, not their wellbeing or their health.... I have power of attorney over medical and they are telling me it is worthless. They keep messing with my mother's psych meds after i told them what the results would be they ignored and now she is losing it even worse almost crazy. They refuse to let me and my children even visit her now. she has had 2 uti ' s for a month and she has dementia. read more

My mother-in-law has been in here for a week now for rehab after surgery. All the staff and doctors have been a blessing .. She is diabetic and they have been on top of her levels! They have taken care of all of our requests. Her mattress was uncomfortable and they had it changed out in less then 2 hours of notifying the staff. The therapist is keeping her in line ... I highly recommend this place! read more

Update/discharge: My grandmother was discharged this morning and had a rough night. The nurse for her over night took her sweet time(45mins) getting pain meds and this is why there rating is still a "1" or less in my eyes. One of the directors tried to ask my family about these reviews and why I wrote them...truth hurts! This place needs better staffing and management, period. As a retired nurse and nursing home administrator I was concerned about finding a quality facility that would provide the care I wanted for my husband of 45 years. Crestview Court met all of my expectations. The staff was competent and caring. That included their care for me and my family. Although we knew he was dying they did all they could to give us privacy and him dignity. read more

Crestview offers a variety of nursing care services, making them a good fit for seniors. Personally, out of all of the nursing facilities my family has gone through this one has been my favorite. The staff is very knowledgeable and caring. I would certainly recommend them to anyone else. read more

This place makes me sad for our elderly population. My grandmother is there now and if I were her POA she would be out. I am a RN at a large hospital in Dallas, I know what care a patient needs at Rehab. When I got there, my grandma stated she needed to go to the bathroom. She is there bc of hip surgery so I went to check with the CNA to see what her restrictions are and to let him know she needed to go to the restaurant. He proceeded to yell at a PCA to come take this one to the bathroom. The PCA came and got her and took her in. After they came back, the PCA said she has her brain right? We said no, she has dementia and she said oh, well she answered all my questions. We said yes she knows who she is but cannot remember that she fell and broke her hip and just had surgery a few days ago. She said oh she broke her hip??? I was furious, if you are taking care of the patient you should know what her needs are. Yes it is the CNA's responsibility to inform the pca's, but everyone should know. In the pca's defense, she is the only one who took any time to talk with us. Of course, 3 days later my grandma fell at the nurses station. They take all the patients and put them in wheelchairs by the nurses station so they can "watch" them while they "chart" on the computer. I know what a drain and time consuming thing charting is, but not when the CNA's are eating and chit chatting with each other the whole time barely looking at their computers but definitely not looking at their patients. The place is understaffed and extremely lazy about attempting to care for your loved one. read more
