Immediately after it healed, the other knee went bad so Dr Schecter did the second one. It's very common for a second knee to go bad after the other. I never imagined a dog could be so expensive but TLPO surgery is much more common than I thought. So for probably 8-10 months, we were rehabbling knees. Dog's knees heal pretty fast. Yes, this has become a very expensive dog but he run's like a champ and is as happy as can be. We have two great dogs and love them both!! We have been to the Atascadero Emergency Clinic for other issues also and we have been happy each time.

When we arrived to drop off our pup, Eric was there to greet us and give us a tour - we were blown away by property. They have created the ultimate summer camp for dogs with immaculate outdoor dog runs, play areas, and a trailer to ensure your dog sleeps safely at night. Krissy was great about sending us photos and updates everyday, which gave us peace of mind that our fur baby was being taken care of.
