The experience was a "zero" out of 5. He became infected; I sent in videos of him limping, he was improperly treated. I had to bring him to the Emergency Vet ($$$) as they didn't wrap it (they thought they did, but didn't, couldn't recall if they did stitches/did/didn't?... just a misfire of care all round). The truth is, they botched Tucker's foot, he was in a lot of pain/infected, and they did not own it, feel sorry, or anything. I have switched to amazing new vets since. It's too bad as front office staff, office manager and Dr. S are great. The dew claw dr was nice too, but the result was painfully bad.

I really like my vet, but if they were to take care of getting my dog cremated it was going to cost upwards of $300 and I wouldn't get her ashes back for 2-3 weeks. I called around and Tyler from Oak Hills got back to me within 24 hours and quoted me $70 with a turn around time of 2-3 days. Drop off was extremely easy since he utilizes El Camino Veterinary Hospital and thankfully the girl who took my dog was very sweet and sympathetic. It can be so hard losing your best friend. I am so thankful that the process of my sweet dog's death was handled with such care. I received a certification of authenticity and the box was lovely that they used for her ashes. I am using my dogs ashes to have a glass ball made, so at first I was a bit surprised that I could not access the ashes without a screwdriver, but thankfully I figured it out quickly. :) For reference- my dog was 11 lbs. The oak box is 6in x 3in x 2.5in (they give you options of wood). Her cremated remains equals about 1 cup. I hope this review is of use to someone else. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Oak Hills and will use them again when that time arrives for my other pets.

She had rotten teeth that had to be pulled, skin infection ( scabis ) and was not up - to - date on shots. Stacey does not keep her dogs' up to date on shots are I don't think even takes them to the vet for check - ups.
