Just payed over $40 for four people to bowl 1 game couldn't even finish the game got to 8th frame and lane screwed up. Told the guy and was told it would be a minute he never even tried to help us so we got upset and left. Would have been nice to have gotten what we payed for. read more

The staff was nice, the facility wasn't bad, but there was no working A/C. Figured we'd give it a go, made it halfway through the first set and was soaked from my own sweat. The fact they didn't even have free or discounted water for sale was a joke and insult to injury. 88° outside and every bit of 98° and humid inside. People were nice, lanes were nice, but the pinsetters were absolutely awful. They messed up about every other throw and you'd have to reset the pins. Got so bad we had to switch lanes, but the lane we got switched to was just as bad and we were told the mechanic couldn't fix it as he was busy getting lanes ready for league play that was starting soon. We ended up leaving without finishing our games. Unfortunate because it could be a really great place if the pinsetters weren't so bad! Doesn't seem like a big deal but made the bowling take forever having to constantly reset the pins after every other throw. read more

The place has good bowling lanes but the place looks like they have not spent any money on the place. The lockers won't hold a 2 ball bag. The men's bathroom is disgusting to put it mildly I don't know about the woman's. I'm afraid to buy anything to eat although I see people eating. read more

I would honestly give 0 stars if it was possible. We had a group of 7, we waited about 20 minutes to get a lane, that was no problem. However, we were sharing a lane with a group of guys that were friends of one of the employees. They used the entire ball rack while we had to hold our balls when there was only 4 of them. I POLITELY asked them if we could have some space to put our balls considering we had a little one that was having to carry his ball around. They refused to move them because they were "custom balls". They were on the side along the wall... where there is a ball rack. I politely asked them again if it was possible that they could put them on the wall and they ignored me. Fast forward to our next game. They left and a party of 2 took over their lane. The woman took the ball I was using and my mother in law asked her if we could have it back so I could have my turn. She was mad that she had to hand the ball over and was extremely rude about it. As she was walking to the front to complain, she shoved my mother in law with her shoulder for no reason. When my mother in law said "excuse you" she turned around and put her hand in both of our faces and proceeded to run her mouth. Within seconds she walked up to the front to the worker and "complained". We didn't even have time to walk up there to have a conversation and explain what had happened. The worker then decided to come over to us and immediately went to blaming us?? He said "my friends complained and now we have another couple complaining". Of course he's going to take his friends side instead of listening to both.. the woman put her hands on my mother in law and we are the ones he's yelling at? He immediately became hostile towards me and proceeded to tell me "I don't care" after I was trying to explain to him that she got physical with my MIL because she was upset over a BALL. I honestly can't believe that this happened. The worker really thought refunding us our money was the solution to the problem. We are a family of 7 just trying to spend time with each other and we get stuck between a group of workers friends.. and a lady who puts her hands on people... and we're the problem? We will drive to Knoxville to bowl before we ever go near this place again. You should too. read more

We took our children here for our daughter's fifth birthday and had a blast! It was very reasonably priced. We love this place it could be a new fun place to take the kids during the week for some inexpensive bowling fun. The employees were very nice and accommodating. read more

I went here as part of a team-building event for work, so I'm not sure about the prices, but we had a great time! My first impression as I walked in was that everything looked a little old and a bit small. But bowling is bowling... the balls roll, the pins fall, and good times were had by all. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was impressed that the shoes they gave me were in great condition. Although they certainly aren't fashionable by any stretch of the imagination, they appeared to be somewhat new. For those of you who like playing DJ, they have a jukebox and it plays nice and loud, but not too loud. I am not sure, but I have been told that this is the only bowling alley in Maryville. As long as you aren't expecting the latest flashy technology, you should be satisfied bowling here. read more

We always have a good time bowling here. Don't expect food or beer or anything flashy, just bowling. The lanes are nice and the shoes seem to be in good condition. It's an old building but it seems like they are trying to keep it up to date by adding touch screens at each lane and lcd screens to show the scores. There are definitely nicer newer places in Knoxville, but Crest is a solid place to just bowl. read more

We order food and the wings were burnt. I order fried pickles and they took 40 min or more. The girl doing the food was on her phone the whole time. And then I order a grilled cheese and the bread wasn't even warm or anything. read more

I enjoy bowling at Crest. My recent trip there was with a very large group and we had the entire building to ourselves. The staff was very kind and helpful during the entire time. The one bug I had with the place was there were some bugs with some of the lanes. After being there for a little while the staff had fixed all of the problems from what I could tell. Again, I cannot stress enough how helpful and calm they were with our group. read more

For my entire life growing up in Maryville, Crest has been the very best bowling lanes in the entire area. They have always had great customer service to back up a great family bowling center. They introduced me to Cosmic bowling years ago before other places even knew what it was. Cosmic bowling = The bomb, by the way. Neon lights and glowing pins, fun for the whole family and way cheaper than going to the movies or renting videos. This place is the best value in town, and the funnest group experience you'll find in Maryville or Alcoa. Best bowling I've been to in my 35 years too. read more

As a frequent bowler i have been visiting most of the alleys in the Knoxville region in search of a place to call my home alley. I really wanted to like Crest Lanes but there is some major issues holding it back. The staff is nice, not really any issue other than they seem to get frustrated with having to fix the pin spotter issues; which leads me to my first criticism. The pin spotting machinery is abhorrently unreliable. Its very frustrating to have to deal with it knocking over pins, not setting the pins, or just flat out breaking and having to move lanes. In addition, some or the lanes just feel wrong. Either they oil them poorly or not at all, im not sure. As someone who throws with a strong hook, this makes it almost impossible to bowl. I will give them props for having updated score displays and monitors, decent rates, and lane availability. Great place for taking the kids bowling or just for a night out, but if you are an enthusiast about the game there may be better options in the area. Ill be reviewing each Alley as i visit them. read more

Like other reviewers noted the place is a little run down. I wouldn't mind that so much but the prices are outrageous. I guess when you have a monopoly on the bowling in Blount County you can jack up your prices. They have updated their scoring screens, much better than the previous ones. No food or snack bar. A few empty vending machines in the corner. We had to move lanes in the middle of our game because the one we were using messed up. Next time I get the urge to bowl I'll probably make the trip to Knoxville. read more

Terrible lanes along with expensive prices. The lanes are very poorly taken care of! Prices are very expensive and the entire place is just run down looking. I would suggest family bowl in Knoxville off of Kingston pike. Every Wednesday from 10pm to 2am its $5 for all you can bowl and shoes included. Also have other good specials throughout the week.
