My experience with Dr. Cassone was not so great. He did not do blood tests, he went based off my…read moresymptoms I told him, took a picture of my tongue and thinks he knows what you're dealing with just based off symptoms. I'm sure every patient is different and will do blood tests for the more severe or something he can't solve but with me he didn't. I got a vibe in he takes too much pride and not having to do blood tests for most of his patients. I am also very observant when I was with him the few times of his professional behavior, he's smart, professional and gives off a fake professional caring vibe all the way till almost the end of our meeting, time was up and he did it twice, I was still asking questions and he gave that look to me like hurry up I have to get to my next patient and I watched his eyes wonder to the direction of the other room with a slight irritation. Did this twice, I'm sure Kelly will put in her own two cents. I did not FEEL heard, every time I wrote Kelly telling her of my ailments and it's getting worse, I mean worse I was experiencing symptoms of burping over EVERYTHING, even water and it was scaring me, my liver area was hurting as well and I couldn't sleep because of all the burping. Every time I wrote Kelly at first she seemed attentive in the beginning but eventually she just started saying it hasn't been that long you just started taking your supplements, give it some time, you're just experiencing detox symptoms. Okay so I tried but my intuition was telling me NO this is something more, it's doesn't FEEL right. My final straw with them was when I messaged Kelly telling her my symptoms and she just said go to nearest hospital and report back to us what they say if anything comes up. I'm also in AZ when I was seeing Dr. Cassone so I couldn't visit him but still the fact that I felt like they didn't care and were worried more about $$$ because it cost to see him each time, not once did she ever reach out or ask or say dr. Cassone would like to talk about your symptoms. Plus going to then is the whole reason why I'm not going to regular doctor and here they are just pointing me in a direction to go somewhere else. Those doctors would just prescribe antibiotics and send me on their way. That was my last straw so I never followed up and they lost my business, not that they care because another one always shows up to replace the $$$. I found a new holistic doctor here in AZ, she's amazing and I was so relieved that she wanted to do blood tests after our first meeting. I felt heard by Dr. Karleen, I found out through my blood tests, I'm dealing with candida overgrowth, pcos, low vitamin D and she had me do blood food allergy test. With Dr. Cassones paleo food plan to follow, it wasn't working for me and it's hard to tell which foods I should eat or not, I wasn't so sure whether it was a detox symptom or food allergy, I was never 100% sure and it was making me scared to eat anything. When I did the food blood test with Dr. Karleen, it gave me relief and helped narrow down as to what foods I need to avoid: all dairy, gluten, wheat, egg whites, avocado, ginger, and pineapple. I was eating most of these foods on Dr. Cassones paleo food plan because he said follow this. I knew it wasn't working for my body. Dr. Karleen's supplements are very potent, everything of what she has me taking, I love her probiotics, very powerful. I also liked how I'm able to call Dr. Karleen on the phone, she gave me 45 minutes of her time when I had some concerns when I first started her regime, she answered all my questions and again like I keep saying, FELT HEARD, you can't even call up Dr. Cassone for a quick phone conversation, everything is done through email communication with Kelly, which gets annoying because she didn't always get back to me. I also bought an at home infrared sauna, that has helped heal my gut immensely(look it up, infrared sauna and healing leaky gut), the warts on my hands are gone, my tongue is finally back to bright red, eczema patches on my skin are gone and no longer have burping. I still try to watch what I eat but I am able to eat more easily without any symptoms. (I first started going to Dr. Cassone when I was still living in Murrieta, then I moved to AZ)

Words cant describe how thankful I am for Dr. Wali!…read more Last month I was experiencing extreme fatigue, brain fog, blurred vision, high heart rate and a constellation of other awful concerns. I went to my primary care doctor and asked to have my blood work/hormones to be tested. Instead of hearing my concerns and looking into my health she quickly prescribed an antidepressant and said "I was fine, in perfect health, we can test you in a month." I knew something was physically off and did not need an anti-depressant. I found a handful of amazing reviews from other women and Moms recommending Dr. Wali. Scheduling was easy and she was able to get me in promptly. My first appointment with Dr. Wali was 90 minuets long and she went over my entire health history. She was attentive, had genuine concern and made me feel heard. She ordered every test to dive deeper into all my symptoms and found the answer. I did not need an SSRI.. I was extremely low on iron/other labs and my hormones were off. She personally followed up after she received my results and before my follow up appointment, knowing I had a race coming up. Within days/weeks of her recommendations I begin to feel alive again and having less brain fog and more energy. Dr. Wali created an easy to follow health plan over the next few months that is realistic, financially reasonable and low stress while I continue to heal my body and hormones. Feeling better everyday and finally being able work without feeling sick and be the present Mom, wife my family is used to. Thank you Dr. Wali for your expertise and kindness. He couldn't say enough of how proud he was of a son who out-did his own father. He even gave me a tour of his office and showed me a family photo. I told him how much I always admired the kind of medicine they practice, and how G.I. Excellence and Trinity never get enough atta-boys for the lives they literally save., or in my case are spared from Barretts leading to Cancer. I have his son and the team at Trinity to thank for that. He said, "probably 97% of patients sit in our offices and tell us similar things, but it's that 3% 'vocal minority' that make their negative experiences known on yelp and google. Why don't you be one that leaves a positive review?" I'd say that was the best prescription any doctor gave me.

What once felt like a teammate on my side helping me reach my healthcare goals has now become just another form of control over my life keeping me "in my place" and disallowing me from getting what I need to live my best life. Gatekeeping behavior from office staff who shut me down and are rude and abrupt when dealing with me. They put things in my chart that rightly have no place and then when questioned about it my request are outright ignored. They misinterpret my requests and then send me a cold sharp email outlining why they will not assist me with my request even though they openly admit in the email to have misinterpreted my request and are just trying to make my life difficult. Be careful who you trust to take care of you and your family because once they start putting stuff into your medical records its there for forever and there is no correction to their mistakes that rooted in their misinterpretation of the information you provide them. They will then blame you for not having provided true and correct information so I would advise everyone to take your request to this office in writing and only in writing and to always retain a written copy for your own records so they can not do to you what they are doing to me.

Out of desperation, we sat through what felt more like a therapy session than a doctor visit. Tools like an ear scope weren't ready to be used, (she shares a room in a spa, so other people use her "office") had to take our patient time to figure that it was unplugged (which normally I wouldn't care but your charge extra 150 every 15 minutes) I felt like everything was stretched out to keep us there, after our first initial visit time was over she asked if we wanted to proceed yet nothing was even really covered, so instead of making another appointment we stayed. Looking back now I definitely feel like a fool and should have left. She kept telling us she doesn't do it for the money but her prices say otherwise. I found a new doctor who is priced fair. Who passes her practitioner discount, who gives us advice how to save money, how to get your insurance to rather than just a super bill.

PROs: The building was nice and modern, Dr. Ruiz was polite in the office while billing us at an extremely high rate. COMs: The assistant Paul is the one you will deal with quite a bit filling out all the intake forms prior to arrival. He's pretty curt and rude. Doesn't give a compassionate vibe off at all. Dr Ruiz is quite the saleswoman. While you explain the case (keeping in mind she only takes sick kids with specific needs) she seems to always have the perfect test that needs to be ran and the perfect homeopathic/natural medicine to cure that symptom or issue. She's going to do a very lengthy exam as well. She's very talkative and can keep that clocking running up with the best of them. Before you know it, it's been 3 hours and a lot has been talked about and you have a long list of vitamins and medicines that she conveniently has stock piled in her office. You go to check out and it went from a $500 consult to $2500 in exam and medicines. Probably have a feeling when you leave of "what's the plan other than to come to another appointment". I never once got a true provider, caring feeling from this woman. Has used car-salesman with a litigation feeling when talking to her. We made a phone follow up appointment with her a month later, but worked with Paul to get it rescheduled - he confirmed this. However, Dr Ruiz herself still called on the original day. We explained we were not in the position to take the appointment and she said no problem but that she would still be billing us for the full hour, even though it was a 60 sec conversation. That was a $500 phone call. We have never heard back from this team in over a year. They do not care one bit about treating your child. They just want to milk you for money. If you really want a provider that understands PANS/PANDAS and actually wants to treat your child I HIGHLY recommend you lookup Amy Joy Smith NP in Orange County. We've seen remarkable improvements since being under her care. Do NOT waste your money coming to see Dr Ruiz.
