There are very few times I walk into a liquor store and start crying hysterically because of how…read moregreat their beer selection is. This was one of those moments. Insane, and I mean INSANE amount of variety for my fellow snobs out there. This store is in New York after all, so it totally ups the ante when you're coming from Connecticut, but who would've thought a place of this size could hold some amazing brews. Oh, they also have taps in the back to fill growlers and for taste testing, so that's also a thing. I walked out with a handful of great things, and yes, I'll definitely be back sometime soon. Kudos Vista, you've won me over.

No seriously, this place is great for the beer drinker, lover, brewer and general aficianado as well as the casual, social and party gifter drinker person... Johnny the "beer guru" knows and loves beer more than life..well I don't know that but you get the point. They've brought things to my car for me when I didn't ask, i've gotten 10% off when i bought a case of wine and there is always a conversation between either Mike the owner or Conrad about sports, weather whats new with me etc... not only that, but I've witnessed this happen with tons of customers in the past couple years. Its actually astonishing how many people come in and are greeted by their first name. I was given lowest legal price in CT and gotten a delivery for a really min fee when i had a BBQ last summer. As someone whose worked in restaurants and understands CT pricing laws thats a big deal for a local liquor store to do that. Selection- THE BEST craft beer selection in town! There is always something new or different being recommended by Mike and the staff. I'm a huge fan of the craft beers and they really do offer a big selection for a friendly neighborhood store. My mother in law always get wine there and says the selection is perfect and Mikes a "sweetheart" Parking is easy and you could be in and out in a few minutes. Pricing is very good and very competitive. I have to respond to the "mystery shopper" Maybe you should shop a little bit more I don't... mysteriously! I would certainly question in my place of business, someone taking 40 pictures for 20 minutes and lurking in the corner. Sorry in this day and age you cant be too careful. If something is out of place like a random person taking pictures and acting out of place, thats concerning. Then to go online and personally attack someone is really rude and disrespectful. I'm sure the company that paid you would not appreciate it, especially if you are at a business that is supporting their products. The review seems really misplaced At the end of the day I would recommend this store to anyone and everyone because they are exactly the type of business i want in my neighborhood. Friendly, accommodating, personable, funny and willing to go out of their way for their customers. Great selection great prices!
