They've brought things to my car for me when I didn't ask, i've gotten 10% off when i bought a case of wine and there is always a conversation between either Mike the owner or Conrad about sports, weather whats new with me etc... not only that, but I've witnessed this happen with tons of customers in the past couple years. Its actually astonishing how many people come in and are greeted by their first name. I was given lowest legal price in CT and gotten a delivery for a really min fee when i had a BBQ last summer. As someone whose worked in restaurants and understands CT pricing laws thats a big deal for a local liquor store to do that. Selection- THE BEST craft beer selection in town! There is always something new or different being recommended by Mike and the staff. I'm a huge fan of the craft beers and they really do offer a big selection for a friendly neighborhood store. My mother in law always get wine there and says the selection is perfect and Mikes a "sweetheart" Parking is easy and you could be in and out in a few minutes. Pricing is very good and very competitive. I have to respond to the "mystery shopper" Maybe you should shop a little bit more I don't... mysteriously! I would certainly question in my place of business, someone taking 40 pictures for 20 minutes and lurking in the corner. Sorry in this day and age you cant be too careful. If something is out of place like a random person taking pictures and acting out of place, thats concerning. Then to go online and personally attack someone is really rude and disrespectful. I'm sure the company that paid you would not appreciate it, especially if you are at a business that is supporting their products. The review seems really misplaced At the end of the day I would recommend this store to anyone and everyone because they are exactly the type of business i want in my neighborhood. Friendly, accommodating, personable, funny and willing to go out of their way for their customers. Great selection great prices!

Since I live in California (near Napa Valley), I've become a bit snobby about my wine selection. I asked my family, friends, and restaurateurs for liquor store recommendations. They all sent me to the "Wine Room" @ Buy the Bottle. They told me they have been going to Buy the Bottle for years...even before it was named Buy the Bottle. Apparently, this store (FKA Cappy's) has been run by the same family since wine was invented. I drove to the store and after 30 minutes of pure pleasure, I left with a case and a smile ear to ear. Gene was substantially informed in regional and non regional wines. I was impressed by his knowledge (better than some wine tasting concierges in Napa). The staff was very patient with me and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable in B-the-B. You can tell they focus on customer satisfaction... I truly received EXCELENT CUSTOMER CARE! The wine I purchased was so very delicious and I impressed my family by rattling off all the details I learned while in B-the-B. Gene also told me that his family has been making wine since before they moved to America from Italy. To the folks at Buy the Bottle, THANK YOU! I will rely on every time I visit!
