Can't resist a sweet treat after dinner and saw this spot was legendary in PR. They're known for their fried ice cream and it didn't disappoint. I also got the cafe flavor with marshmallow topping and was very satisfied.

Historical vibe in best ice cream shop in the greater Fajardo area. Friendly service and delicious ice cream with 24 options.

Delicious ice cream and amazing service!! A very cute ice cream shop with nice decorations on the inside. The owner was very nice and patient. We tried samples and got the cafe, parcha (passionfruit), and tamarindo- all three were great and the parcha tasted very fresh. This spot is popular with locals! Definitely stop by here.

It was so delicious I forgot to take a photo until it was half gone! Wonderful fried ice cream and waffle cones made right in front of us... sooo good! The swings and decorations made for a really fun vibe, too!

Great varieties of ice creams and sherbets. My all time favorite is the Fried Ice Cream with marshmallows syrup and almonds. In this visit my daughter ordered the birthday cake flavor ice cream and she loved it. The owner Magaly is always so nice and friendly. She make everyone feel very welcome.

We stopped here for some ice cream while we were staying in Fajardo. They are know for their fried ice cream but we were not interested in trying that. Hubby had a strawberry milkshake which he reported to be delicious and I had a cone with both chocolate and mango ice cream. When in Puerto Rico one must try the local flavors like parcha and guanabana that are hard to find on the main land. The owner was working and she was very attentive. A must try in Fajardo.

Nice little hidden gem! We stumbled upon this place after a day at 7 Seas beach. Very friendly staff. Ice cream was delicious. Best ice cream we've had in PR! Swing chairs inside were pretty neat as well!

Fried ice cream one with peanuts & strawberry sauce and other with almonds & caramel. Very good!!

Very good ice cream. The fried ice cream was so delicious. There was a line out the door. But it is worth the wait. The tables and swinging chairs are a nice touch to sit with your family and enjoy your ice cream. The owner was very sweet and loves her job and customers.

Fried ice cream, Oreo crumbs, whip cream, and caramel syrup.

It's hard to say anything bad about this place!…read more The line is long, but it's full of excitement and gawking at everyone's gelato and seeing their faces when they take their first taste. Also, the line moves pretty quickly. At $7.19 for the regular (two flavors), it's not cheap (PR McDonald's vanilla ice cream cone is $0.99 for comparison!), but it's definitely worth doing (at least) once. The flavors are all extremely unique and it's a mystery what may be in a specific flavor (e.g. Pavlova and mixed berries), but you can try to your heart's content for free. In the end, I doubt there is a "bad" flavor. My favorites were cookieman (like Oreo cookies in a vanilla base) and chocolate cookie. Pistachio was good, but a taster would have sufficed. Sadly, they did not have a mint and chip!

Very cute interior, clearly well thought out and designed to be a photo/insta location. The colors and decor all flowed well. But beyond that, they have wonderful flavors! We tried about 7 in our group and they were all good. Tasted high quality and you could distinguish what the flavor was supposed to be. Fresh made on site I would guess. The order process is a little difficult w use they have so many flavors spread out over about 15 feet of displays. Hard to pick what you want without running back and forth to see if you would miss anything! The seating areas were nice and had lots of seating. Disappointed to see that the bathroom was out of order and just had an envelope with a handwritten message on it. Really took away from the experience. But would enjoy again!

It was such a delicious treat! This gelato shop is located on Ashford Avenue in Condado. There were…read moremounds of gelato with so many unique flavors & combinations. We just couldn't pass it up. So, let's talk about the history. It all started out as "Anita La Mamma del Gelato" in Tel Aviv back in 2002. "La Mamma del Gelato" that you see on the walls inside this shop represent the mother (Anita Avital) & son (Nir) duo who started it all. It's grown to many more locations to include NYC and Miami. There's even a sub-brand of Anita Gelato called "Golda Gilda" that is very popular in Israel. I have to be honest when stating that I've never heard of either gelato brands until seeing this shop near our hotel. We each decided to get the smallest cup size that includes 2 flavors. I selected Pavlova Mixed Berries and Chocolate Pistachio & Kadayif. There was a white chocolate version of it as well, but I decided to stick with the traditional milk chocolate. I don't remember what flavors my husband picked out. I'm pretty sure he enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed mine. I especially loved the chocolate pistachio one. That layer of pistachio cream & crispy kadayif was delightful. I didn't taste any pavlova in the mixed berry gelato, but it was still wonderful. They're very good about giving out samples for those who are unsure and want to get the perfect flavor. I wish we had returned to try more. It was a delicious & relaxing experience. The service was great. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. We fortunately arrived in the late afternoon when it wasn't too busy. Definitely do not pass this one up when in Condado.

We went three times during our 3 day visit (it would have been 4 had my partner had his way). Every single time we tried something new and I just want to say that this is good gelato. They gelato is delicious with unique flavors. The staff is always kind and works incredibly quickly to get people moved through the line. They are open what feels like all day and into the late evening. And it is reasonably priced for a good amount of gelato. Really, you can't go wrong here. I didn't encounter a bad flavor. Plus, they let you try flavors so give it a whirl before you decide. Definitely a place to stop in if you're in the area. Maybe even multiple times if you like it as much as we did. No shame!
