I have now sampled the button holes, the glazed and jelly donuts, and some of the sweet potato pie. Why the hell did I wait this long? I'll just give you my exact quote while tasting the button hole for the first time in their shop: "MMMMM... to hell with Krispy Kreme!" And my wife's exact words when i brought them home... "We are never going to Dunkin Donuts again!" My favorite donuts in the Philly area in recent years have been Beiler's in Reading Terminal. These are right there with them. I'm calling it a tie overall. But the glazed donuts might be better than anything Beiler's has if that makes sense. They make Krispy Kreme look like a two day old Wawa donut. Lawd have mercy! Get there early and don't expect them to have everything you want. They're small and they get sold out fast. But get whatever you can when you're there and just love it. As I was writing this I also took a bite of the Boston Cream donut. My wife and I agree. It's not too sweet which is actually perfect. They seem to know just how much sweetness works here. They're smart. I won't wait years to go back again. I promise.

(The holes are from custom decorations we put in ourselves, photo is of cake provided by Devour). They had so many different flavor combinations to choose from, we landed on a chocolate cake with chocolate chip mousse and vanilla buttercream icing. The shop itself kept excellent communication with planning the cake and making sure the design was exactly what we wanted, and even threw in some wonderful suggestions! After that a man came in stating he was picking up a DoorDash order so I told him go ahead as the orders were on a rack for pickup. Well a guy at the front of the line wasn't having it and said he needed to wait in the line like everyone else. They began arguing. Now I didn't see why he couldn't just grab his bag and go but guy up front had a problem with it and even invited him outside to fight. Now it's not that deep for two men to be getting ready to fight at a cake shop. Secondly I think nothing Bundt cakes should have had more control of how things were handled. There were 2 people working up front. One cashier could have taken orders and the other could have handle picks and door dash to keep things moving. Just my thoughts, so everyone is not congested in one space waiting. I usually go to the Ardmore location but I was in the area. PP's double chocolate brownie will fuel you with enough energy to clean your space at home. Im sitting here with my morning coffee at home with someberry turnover, dreaming of my next visit. Linvilla orchards is an amazing place to bring family and kids of all ages. There's also a a market that sells freshly grown fruits, vegetables and local made goods. There's also a garden and gift shop selling a lot of the local artisan products. Lots of parking available around the main entrance area. We went early in the morning around 10am. We spent most of the first few hours walking around the zoo that had a huge chicken range, duck pond, cow, goats, sheep and horses. There are vending machine to buy corns to feed the animals. We had to get our own quarters as the coin exchange machine was broken. Around the noon we head to the Linvilla Grill. They had some good pizza and chicken tenders. There were few outdoor benched to dine. Price was little steep. The freshly squeezed lemonade was outrageous. They make the whole thing by grinding lemon right in front and put it in a huge plastic 32 oz jar. It is so worth for $8. We also bought some peaches and cooking sauces from the market. Cash is preferred, for credit card they charge fee at the market checkout.

The staff were nice and helpful. Very friendly people. Easily to spend a morning or an afternoon there. Spacious so expect lots walking. Wear sneakers. Honestly a great place for family and visitors from out of town.
