I stayed in the Blue Moon camper for 2 nights for my 40th birthday, 3 amenities listed don't match property. Heat-Trailer had space heaters that tripped the breakers twice so we could only use one so one room had heat. Privacy-2nd night, there were two people in front of the fire pit/private trailer area. Expressed concern and host said there's a trail anyone can use behind the trailer that leads through the front deck area. Hot water-No hot water after a long day of hiking, it was late I decided to reach out in the AM. In the AM host responded quickly, gave instructions to turn on. It worked for a few seconds and I immediately reached out again saying water went back to cold and received no response. Had to check out without showers. Host dismissed my concerns and lied about her manager following up with me about the hot water who said I told them we were able to take showers and how I had so much fun during my 2 night stay. Never spoke to a manager at any point after check in and I expressed my dissatisfaction to the host upon checkout through the Airbnb app. Checkout is simply leaving the keys in the camper so there was nobody to speak with. Also, the view is a larger rv and a cabin not a river view. This was the worst experience I have ever had with an Airbnb host. Edit: I am at attaching screenshots of our only conversation we ever had so anyone that reads this can see how it actually went. You knew about my hike AFTER I checked out because I mentioned it in my messages, I never spoke to a manager after the heat and water issue and I never spoke to you about anything other than what is in the chat and I don't know why you keep saying that I did when that is a complete lie. Had you handled this fairly and professionally without insinuating that I am lying about the issues I had and that I requested money back after saying I had a great time then I would not have much more bad to say however you took it upon yourself to write a completely false review of me on Airbnb that has been removed because it wasn't true and did not have any relevant information. I asked for half of what I paid back because that is what was fair as you can see in the messages. Because of the way this was handled 0/10, do not recommend. read more

This was a great venue and was able to accommodate our large group of campers! The creek and yard gave us plenty of space for activities and games! The staff was willing to work with us to get the most out of the property and were available for any questions we had throughout our stay! Happy Campers all around! read more

Stayed in the cowboy cabin. Extremely overpriced, $170/night. Dirty. A lot of bugs inside. Very uncomfortable bed and pillows. No view (besides old trailers) Creek is stagnant and dirty. Trailer park area. Looking out each window there are old trailers that people live in. No coffee, soap, shampoo or any amenities. Great place to go camping and relax from the city life. Owners Dennis and Diane are very nice and Dennis is a natural entertainer. All their cabins are good but one of the cabins has 2 floors and offers a great view of the hill country. The area is very beautiful, especially during late March, early April and also Fall. The creek has flowing water and is quiet serene. They have smart dogs which sometimes go along with you during exploring and I heard that one of them is trained to catch fish. They seem to do well in terms of getting cabin occupants, but if they had more publicity I bet they would be packed always! That's how nice it is. Mostly everything is in the cabins but you may need to bring linens if you prefer. Overall, great place to stay. read more

Well planning a get away during a global pandemic has its own challenges there is no place I'd rather go. Creekside cabins are quaint and homey. We stayed in the fireman cabin. Our daughter had her own loft and we had our own bedroom. They have thought of everything. Including games, books and dvds. Early morning and evening fishing. Swimming in the creek and my favorite sitting by a campfire. We will definitely be back! read more

This place was very convenient for us. I realy enjoyed the common area in front of main house by the creek. My husbad got to fish and the fishing was good. The water is kinda gross. Not my cuppa tea. But the kids enjoyed the boats. We stayed it the firehouse which will sleep 7 or so people. There was no storage area for the kitchen area. And the fridge is tiny so theres no way u can store more then a couple days of food for 2 regular eating people. There was 2 adults, a teen, 12 year old and 20 month old in our 3 day stay. We had to bring a cooler and get ice in town so our food would not spoil. This was EXTREMELY inconvenient. So be prepared. Also if u have dust allergies ect... Beware. The cabin was SO dusty it was truly like no one has cleaned it since it was built. The ac vent was covered in brown dust webs and no filter inside! The stove was old and cute but not easy to cook on. Could not figure how to turn oven off cause the knob is busted off. Pots and pans are busted up as well. The cabins are not extremely cheap so i felt that things should be more user friendly. Also the master bed was like sleeping on rocks. Yuck. The drive ways are steep and sand rock mix so hard on vehicles ! Many people were running their tires bald trying to get up hills they were getting stuck. We got stuck in our cabin driveway and have a pick up so we could not park in it the whole stay. Aside from these things it was great. The owners are very nice people. read more

I cannot begin to even explain how very disappointed we were with this lodging. We rented the Cedar House for five nights. We had 9 adults and 2 small children. When we first arrived and were signing in, we were grudgingly greeted by the owners. There was no hospitality or enthusiasm-there was much more focus on exactly how much money they were getting before we were even able to look at the cabin. We were also informed that the canoe had a hole that had been patched, (it still leaked) and the paddle boat would have to be bailed out, because it was broken. The rancher that owned part of river did not like people on his portion of the river, so the only part we were allowed on was a small portion that fronted their property. We were brought towels the day after check in. They smelled terrible, and were line dried and very rough. Very strong odor of mildew. The beds were the worst I have ever slept in, the upstairs bed was sagging and you could feel every spring. The futon in the dining room was shredded and torn, the other futons mattress was so hard it was like sleeping on concrete. Everything smelled bad, and even spraying with freshener did not help. We never ONCE saw the owners after we checked in. The cabin was not on the water at all, but rather was a fairly long walk to get down to it, and a long hike uphill to get back. The "treehouse" was unusable, it was an absolute hazard, no way could a child even try to get up in it. The slide was broken and poorly attached, the ladder leading up to the treehouse was broken, rusted metal. I could continue, but I won't, just because it starts to sound unbelievable. Just please-spend your money elsewhere. The only thing I can say good about this place is that they recommended Krause Springs in Spicewood, Tx. THAT was the most beautiful place I have ever seen and worth every moment and penny spent. read more

My family and I had the most AMAZING time! The Grand House was big enough to accommodate everyone comfortably and so beautiful. The owners are so nice and helpful and the grounds are so peaceful and relaxing. We even had a minor incident where my 7 year old nephew got stuck in the front bathroom because the doorknob got stuck. The owner took the matter very seriously and literally RAN to get everything necessary to get the door opened and a new doorknob put on immediately. It was exactly the type of weekend getaway that we all needed! We definitely look forward to going again in the future and will recommend this location to all our friends and family who are looking for the perfect place to stay in Marble Falls. read more

I recently stayed at the Creekside Camp Cabins with my mom and sister . We stayed at the Victorian Cottage, absolutely loved it !!! So quaint and comfy, the cabin was immaculate. I really appreciated how homey it felt, what a refreshing relief from the every day hassle of city life and traffic. We sat out on the front porch each evening and enjoyed the quiet peaceful surroundings, seeing the fireflies brighten up the dark nights. I highly recommend visiting and staying awhile at Creekside. Glancing at a few of the other cabins they were just as awesome. What a great get away with family and friends ! The owners are very accommodating and friendly, in fact we got acquainted with a couple of their pets , very friendly and gentle. We played board games and card games, laughed and shared old memories and created new ones. We visited a nearby winery and enjoyed wonderful food at local restaurants in Marble Falls. You need to treat yourself to a stay at the Creekside Cabins, you deserve it !!! I know I did and want to make it a yearly routine !! read more
