I especially loved how my makeup and hair turned out the second time, which I believe was done by Jessica. She understood exactly what I wanted and executed the look perfectly! Everything looked very polished and professionally done, and I could tell the makeup products used were high quality. What impressed me the most was how well everything lasted. My makeup was done at 8:00 AM even though my reception didn't start until 5:30 PM. Despite the long day, my makeup held up beautifully all the way through the end of the reception at 11:00 PM, and my hair stayed completely intact as well! I hired Jessica and her team as my hmua for my wedding after doing a trial with her. I had a failed trial elsewhere after having researched hundreds of hmua in SoCal that specialize in Asian features so I was nervous about having yet another trial but Jessica and her team did so good with my hmu that I even recommended her to a friend from out of town who needed her hmu done for a pre wedding photoshoot. Jessica was very responsive to our email thread throughout my wedding planning phase and she was also very punctual on the day of the wedding - she even got there before we did. She was also very skilled in not just Asian features but handled my Caucasion MIL's hmu well as well! Got married on March 8, 2025 and I had Emma as my makeup artist. Can't recommend her enough! I felt so confident and beautiful on my wedding day. I was supposed to do a hair change after my ceremony before going into reception. But there was some delay in schedule and we only had 10 minutes to do everything. If you want the Korean style makeup for your wedding, this is the place! Jessica was my makeup artist for my wedding day and she did exactly how I wanted it to be. I already had booked an artist from a famous makeup studio for weddings for the wedding makeup when I inquired to her a few months before the wedding. I wanted a clean natural look, but when I got a trial from the artist I booked previously, she used darker shades of foundation and made it a little too cakey for me. I think she was more skilled for darker glamorous makeup style. When I went in for a trial to Jessica, she instantly knew what I wanted and what color goes well with me. The skin looked really smooth and the blush was just the right amount to show in the pictures. She managed to recreate the whole look on the day of the wedding. She and her assistant helped my bridal parties for the hair and makeup and it came out beautifully! My mom really liked her Hanbok hair and it looked so elegant. She also touched up my dad for the pictures, and he looked awesome as well! I had an incident on the wedding day which I had to take off the wedding dress over my head because the zipper was broken, and a part of the makeup got smudged. It was on my cheek bone and it looked like it would show in the pictures, and for matters worse, it wasn't fixable with the tools I had.
