Fabulous new cabinets! I chose Randy after meeting with many painters, but none of them had his knowledge or expertise. He immediately gave me some options and walked me thru all the steps of how they paint the cabinets for the best results. I wanted a light gray but he convinced me Swiss Coffee would give me that new feeling and make my kitchen and bathrooms appear much bigger. He was right it was amazing the transformation! My kitchen looks huge and new now! My twins who are 3 said Mommy we have a New Home Randy and his crew arrived on time and completed the job in four days. They covered everything in my garage, kitchen and bathrooms before they started. They left my garage cleaner than when they arrived! They did a great job and were a pleasure to work with. Randy had clear communication throughout the project. The price was reasonable since it was a ton of work to take all the cabinets down, sand, prime and do two coats of paint via spraying. I can barely see any grain lines at all in my old oak cabinets! Thank you Randy and team for making my kitchen feel like new again! read more

Honestly, Creative Wall Designs is as good as it gets. Randy and his crew just completed painting our kitchen cabinets. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Randy and his crew arrived on time, worked cheerfully, put in some really long days, and completed the project in the promised time. The result is nothing short of sensational. Our yellowed maple cabinets are transformed. From prep to cleanup, I cannot find fault. It was a pleasure having them in our home and the end result is exactly what we wanted. read more

My wife and I recently moved into a new home. The 1st big project that my wife wanted to complete was getting ALL of the cabinets in our home refurnished. (Kitchen, master bathroom, kids bathroom, laundry area, guest bathroom and side hall cabinet) We conducted an RFP with several cabinet painters. After meeting Randy at Creative Wall Designs, he listened to exactly what my wife wanted done with the cabinets and took the time to produce a sample painted cabinet door so that they'd be on the same page. We wanted a white antique look showing distressed areas. We were told that this project would require the usage of our garage. The way his sealed off this staging/painting/drying area was impressive. We were told that from start to finish, it would take about 1.5 weeks to complete. The majority of the time obviously went into the sealing off each area with painters masking tape and plastic along with removing each cabinet door. Randy's team of Bryan and Talia were both extremely professional and courteous. They both did their best to mask off sections of the bathroom and kitchen refrigerator to accommodate our families daily needs. They fully knew that most of the work masking/sealing off each section would most likely need to be "redone" the next morning. It was a pleasure having both of them work on our project. End results, we absolutely LOVE our new cabinets! It's night and day the difference it's made to the overall feel of the home. Kudos to the Creative Wall Designs team on a fantastic job. You honestly exceeded our expectations! read more

Our kitchen cabinets turned out beautiful! Randy was very professional and courteous and finished on time.

From the first meeting with Randy, I intuitively knew he was very special. A few nights before my project started, I had some hesitations about which technique to use, and Randy helped me through this uncertainty with patience and sound advice. He repainted our kitchen cabinets/doors/drawers, etc. and fireplace mantle, the results are excellent! He and the 2 Alexs are so talented and worked their magic to repair something which a woodworker could not have done. I've never seen a more elaborate and effective 'painting station' which they set up in our garage/house. Everything was flawless: they are the nicest people, very friendly, professional, considerate, flexible, and extremely hard working. How often is it you can find the perfect referral for a special project just by using Yelp? I would recommend Randy and his team to anyone, and will absolutely call on them again for future projects. read more

After meeting with several other painters, we are very pleased that we chose Randy! He was very knowledgeable and seemed to pay more attention to detail than others would have. We had old oak cabinets with a lot of grain, and he made them look wonderful. He had to do 3 coats and even had to hand brush our peninsula after, but you could tell that he cares about the work that he does. We originally planned to paint the cabinets ourselves, but realized that it was going to be a large job. After seeing the end product it was definitely work spending the money to have Randy paint them, and it only took 4 days!! read more

Very happy with the whole experience. We wanted to repaint our kitchen cabinets along with some drawers in the living room. They showed up on time. Nicely covered the area they were working on. Paineted the whole thing and cleaned up everything afterwards. Very polite and friendly crew while keeping it professional and on time. Couldn't be happier with the quality of the work. read more

We got possession of our new house and only had 4 days to paint the heavy oak cabinets before we moved in. Randy was great, he helped us choose a color (which at first we thought was too white, but now totally love) and he got the job done in time. He told me beforehand that 90% of kitchens will cost between $3,000 - $4,000, which included all the prepping, priming, and the paint, and that's what we paid. He was also really easy to get a hold of and talk to, he obviously knows his stuff. They used spray guns and there are no droplets or streaks or anything, the paint job was perfect. He left behind zero mess, and he and his workers did a great job. read more

Randy and his team were the best. This is was a clear 5 stars for me! Background: I contacted Randy to paint my family's ancient kitchen cabinets while my mom was out of town for her 50th birthday. The cabinets went from a dark wood to a beautiful cream antique stain in just three days. Some major highlights: 1. The cabinets look beautiful! My mom and the whole family was VERY pleased. 2. They were speedy - promising to complete the work in 4-5 days and actually did it in 3. 3. Randy showed me some sample doors before hand and discussed exactly what I wanted. I felt comfortable with what I was getting into. 4. Randy was very responsive to phone calls and inquiries throughout the process. Some additional thoughts 1. Randy and his whole crew are extraordinarily nice and down-to-earth. I am not basing this review on personality. They could have been grumpy and still gotten five stars. However, they inspired trust and confidence. They were funny and very accommodating. 2. The crew scored extra points with me by telling me that I might want to get out of the house when they were applying one of the layers (base-coat), since I am pregnant and should be avoiding the fumes. I think it speaks to the company's personality that they would care about that. read more

Randy came and repainted our kitchen cabinets in March. He did such a great job that the rest of the kitchen needed updating. We hired Randy to install new countertops using Shirestone. I can't say enough for Randy and his team. read more

I hired Creative Wall Designs last December to paint our kitchen cabinets. They had a faux "old world" finish on them that was done about 10 years ago but did not hold up over time. Randy and his crew were very professional and spent two days just preparing for the job by masking everything and sanding. It was a huge job yet they did not skip any of the prep steps. This was the most thorough prep job I've ever seen by a painter. I was going to use the old knobs but Randy suggested I purchase new knobs as he advised that it would make the kitchen look brand new. I took his advice and I am so glad I did. The kitchen looked fantastic when he was done. It's been 8 months since the work was completed and I'm pleased to say that the paint job is holding up very well. The cabinets are easy to clean due to the good quality paint product he used. read more

I was referred to Randy and his team by my realtor. I am selling my home and needed to upgrade my 10 year old maple cabinets. I recently put in marble counters and stainless appliances and it looks so amazing with the paint. I can't say enough good things about their work. They are meticulous in their prep and the paint job is gorgeous. My cabinets are truly flawless. His employees, Alex, Michelle, and Kristen were wonderful and couldn't be more competent. He has a super team and they work fast. I had a huge job, but they managed to do it on time and perfectly. The price was very fair. You can't find a better painter for your kitchen than Randy and his group. It was a pleasure to have them here and that is saying a lot! read more

I highly recommend Creative Wall Designs. Randy and his team recently painted our kitchen cabinets and hinges, and installed new knobs and pulls. It turned out beautifully and the entire process was quick, efficient and free of problems. Randy is easy to work with, very knowledgeable, easy going, soft-spoken and professional. He returned my initial call the same day, came out to see our cabinets a couple of days later and had a bid to us within 24 hours. The painting of our cabinets took 3 days and we were without our kitchen for only a day or so. Recently completed a cabinet painting project with Randy and his Creative Wall Designs team. From my first meeting with Randy through completion, he and his team were very professional, true to schedule, and great at communicating what they were doing during the project. Our project was a single paint on cabinets. The crew were very diligent on the prep, which took a little longer than expected (fine by me knowing they were doing the best to get the cabinets ready for paint). The painting turned out flawless and they finished by installing new door/drawer pulls. Overall a great experience with Creative Wall Designs! I had Randy repaint our dated kitchen cabinets. Made an appointment with Randy to show us his samples. My wife and I were so impressed with the sample doors that he brought, we decided to go with his services. He returned the estimate quickly, and the price was so reasonable, we signed him to remake our kitchen. His crew arrived on time every day at 9AM sharp. Randy, Alex, Michelle, and Juan are all very friendly people. Very considerate of our needs and wishes. They covered and masked everything well, and after each day, cleaned up the work area. They finished as promised, and the work turned out beautiful. They also installed new hardware that we provided. I would recommend Randy and his crew for any paint work. FYI. Talking with Juan before the rest of the crew arrived one day, I found out he is an Army reservist. Randy's son is in the Army as well. Juan met Randy's son, and Randy hired him onto his crew since Juan needed a job. Support the troops! read more

I have had the pleasure to work with Randy and his crew on two separate projects in my home and I am a HUGE fan of their work! I, like another reviewer here, is super picky and I expect a professional service when you hire a professional crew. I feel like I got that. The first project I had was to faux walls in my formal living and dining room areas. I live in a 1937 Spanish home, and he came in with ideas and color samples that helped us enhance the beauty of the textured stucco walls in the formal rooms of our home. I get non stop reviews on the three color tones he blended together. it just feels warmer with the color palette, is not "outdated" by heavy faux work you may have seen in the 90's and is so subtle. Just love it. The second project we hired them to do was such a huge blessing. In living in an older home, not all things can be updated/upgraded without a lot of pain. We found this out when we attempted to update our kitchen cabinets but were quickly corrected by contractors who explained that our dream kitchen would cost us BIG by breaking stucco, and either going with custom cabinets to fit or loosing cabinets to use standard sizes that did not fit into our 1937 kitchen! Randy came out and worked with us to enhance the cabinets we already had in place and to bring some current style to an outdated kitchen. The look is a French/Spanish look with the feeling of built in's (white washed cabinets with darker paint in accent and creases) that make the cabinets look just like the newer coated ones you buy at Kraftmaid!. I have seriously run out of cards to share with friends, that's how many people have asked about his work. He and his team may not be the cheapest on the block to do basic painting, but if you want technique, if want to look like you spent the effort, and money, THIS IS the way to go. Do yourself a favor, and check him out. EXCELLENT! read more

Randy has very good eye for colors. We had our living room and dining area faux painted.
