It started off well as they let me customize Order 2 and Order 3 on two different days but when the food was delivered it went downhill. The Monday delivery had Dal Makhani (the only tasty dish which earns the 1 star - I give credit where it's due) and it had paneer vindaloo which was just watery gravy and exactly 2 pieces of paneer in the 16 Oz box... talk about cheating!! and the mixed vegetable sabji had bell peppers, onions and channa!!! where is the word does mixed vegetable sabji have channa? and yes it had paneer pieces too it was it tofu? not sure. but it tasted spoilt. When I told the person about it they said they will check with the kitchen and get back but they never did, till I asked them on the second day of delivery. On the second day, there was shahi paneer (btw their food is delivered cold) which was made of coconut milk. yes the flavor was decent but guess what happens when you heat coconut milk? it becomes watery!! and this time there were 4 pieces of paneer floating in the watery gravy. Yes, they gave me two dabbas to make up for the first delivery but I have had food from many other places where every single mouth had a paneer piece literally with the gravy ... PM me and I can share the names!! This is pure daylight robbery. Pricey to the boot (yes they deliver for free but it is incorporated in the price) and substance is less. And finally the bindi masala - the Bindi was so fibrous and had so many end pieces. For charging so much can't they get good bindi?? I will definitely not order from them again and wouldn't advice anyone to either!

The order of one Tiffin is really reasonable, and it will include one protein (often a curry), one vegetable base dish, such as a soup, one probiotic, and one bread/starch. There are also options to add to the Tiffin, if you desire. There are options to order from their steel tiffin containers, or sustainable, compostable containers (my preference). Both options can be delivered right to your doorstep! While there is a pick up location, delivery is super convenient, with the order, arriving at my doorstep around the time we're getting home from work! If you live within their radius, delivery can also be free! This makes it really nice to enjoy freshly cooked Indian food at home, after a long day at work! (It's also advertised as cooked in a positive environment using traditional satvik and other nutritional methods.) The orders are consistently delivered to the correct location, well packaged, and free of spills most times.

1. Placed order on 6/7 and was told the order will be delivered on 6/10…read more 2. Got a FedEx tracking number via chat late afternoon on 6/9. There is no tracking update until around noon on 6/10. Chatted with Yu Shang support twice and both times were confirmed the order will be delivered on the day. However, the order never show up on 6/10. 3. Called Yu Shang office this morning (6/11). The lady told me that she dropped off the package around 15:00 pm on 6/10. According to her, it supposes to be delivered on 6/10. But it never happen. 4. The lady called me back around 10 am this morning (6/11) and told me that FedEx told her the order is on FedEx trunk out for delivery. 5. I called FedEx myself around 10:30 and FedEx had opened a investigation case to track the package. FedEx call me back around 11:00 and told me the package was dropped off after hour on 6/10 around 19:10 pm (the Yu Shang lady told me around 15:00 pm on 6/10). The package is at FedEx station for driver pick up as of around 11:00 am this morning (6/11). 6. Still no new FedEx tracking update around 14:00 pm (6/11), called FedEx again and was told it won't be picked up until after 16:00 pm (6/11) and most likely will be delivered tomorrow (6/12). 7. Called Yu Shang office a couple of times to cancel the order, but no answer. 8. Submitted order cancellation request via app message and explained the situation. Cannot imagine what the cooked meat (chicken and pork) going to taste like after being in a closed package for 3 full days under the hot temperature! Waiting for Yu Shang to respond. 9. Stay tuned for update and will never order from the place again!!
