TO NOT USE THIS COMPANY- WILL RUIN YOUR EVENT…read more If you're considering hiring this company for an important event, especially an outdoor event, I strongly encourage you to read our experience before booking. We paid $700 for what was supposed to be the centerpiece of our daughter's first birthday. Instead, approximately 20 minutes before our guests arrived, the display began falling apart. The shimmer wall separated, balloon sections detached, and the entire structure collapsed before the party even started. The owner, Nicolette, never came to our event herself. Instead, she sent assistants to perform the installation. During setup, one of the assistants actually asked us if we had a rock because they didn't have enough sandbags or weight to properly secure the display. When we told her we didn't, she responded, "I was just given these materials. You'll have to take it up with the owner." That should have been our first warning sign. A professional balloon company charging hundreds of dollars should arrive fully equipped to safely secure its own display--not ask the customer to provide rocks. After the display collapsed, we were forced to search our yard for rocks and concrete blocks ourselves just to try to keep it standing. We also had to reinforce the shimmer wall with packing tape so the party could continue. The second group that arrived to address the collapse introduced themselves as Nicolette's parents. During their visit, they called Nicolette in front of us. During that conversation, we heard them state that the structure had not been properly supported by the assistants because there were not enough sandbags used to stabilize it. They also told us they had previously recommended that Nicolette stop taking jobs on Long Island because she lives upstate and cannot personally service her Long Island clients. We also recognized the stand used for our display as an Amazon stand. In our opinion, it was poor-quality equipment that had no business being used for a $700 professionally installed outdoor balloon display. It appeared lightweight and not suitable for supporting a large outdoor installation. After the event, Nicolette relied on a clause in the contract regarding outdoor displays. However, the weather that day was completely normal for a summer party--approximately 9 mph sustained winds with gusts around 16-17 mph. There were no storms, no severe weather advisories, and no unusually high winds. We expected a professionally installed outdoor balloon display to withstand ordinary weather conditions. Although the contract discusses outdoor displays, we could not find language stating that a customer assumes responsibility if a professionally installed display collapses in ordinary weather. Despite the display collapsing before guests arrived and continuing to fail even after repairs, Nicolette refused to issue a full refund and instead offered only $150 back on a $700 display. You only get one first birthday. Instead of spending those moments celebrating with our daughter, family, and friends, we spent them repairing and stabilizing a display that should have remained standing from the beginning. We have photographs and video documenting the progression of the collapse. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company. If you're spending hundreds of dollars on a milestone event, ask who will actually be installing your display, what equipment will be used, and how it will be secured. We attended an "Eat and Play with Elmo" event, and unfortunately the experience fell short, especially given the $40 price. Parking is very limited, and the event felt oversold and overcrowded. The heat was not working, and with temperatures below 30 degrees outside, it was barely warmer inside. Most conversations among parents were about how cold everyone was, and many adults and children kept their coats and hats on the entire time. If the heat wasn't working, the event really should have been rescheduled. There were also safety concerns. The gate separating the play area from the rest of the space was not functioning and remained open the entire time. While I was putting away our shoes and diaper bag, my daughter slipped into the play area, which was unsettling. The Elmo costume itself looked great and was very realistic, but the character interaction was a major disappointment. The person inside the costume seemed disengaged and unhappy to be there. Elmo mostly stood in one spot and did not interact warmly with the children. There were no hugs, no pats on the back, and very little acknowledgment of the kids beyond an occasional half-hearted wave. For an event centered around meeting Elmo, the lack of enthusiasm and interaction was especially disappointing. Other moms I spoke to noticed the same thing The space itself is lovely, but for a $40 "Eat and Play with Elmo" event, this experience fell short of expectations.

They had mud, dried food, peeling paint, and rust. Some of the chairs were in particularly poor condition. I immediately told the delivery person, who did not speak English very well, to please tell his boss that the furniture was unacceptable. Unfortunately, the delivery arrived after 6:00 p.m. the night before our 10:30 a.m. breakfast party, and I received no response from Emilio that evening. Two days after the party, I emailed Emilio requesting a refund and sent photos showing the condition of the rental furniture. He texted me back, in very clear English, that I would not be receiving a refund because I had not given him an opportunity to make it right. That response was extremely frustrating. The order was for delivery to Garden City, while the Party Center is located in Brentwood, approximately 28 miles away. If the furniture had been picked up after 6:00 p.m. and returned to Brentwood, it would have been around 9:00 p.m. There was also never an option offered to me to have the furniture replaced or cleaned. Most importantly, the furniture was originally scheduled to arrive between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. Instead, after waiting all day for the delivery, I spent my evening washing and cleaning the filthy tables and chairs myself so they could be used for our party the next morning. Bottom line: Emilio knew the condition of the furniture that was delivered and, when I brought the issue to his attention, refused to offer any refund or meaningful resolution. The condition of the rental furniture was unacceptable, and the response afterward was equally disappointing. I would not recommend this business. A party rental company should provide clean, well-maintained furniture and should stand behind its products when a customer receives something in this condition. The business could do much better by properly maintaining its rental inventory and treating customers fairly when problems occur.

Now, when you enter in, it's toys/clothes and other items for toddlers and teens, which they update every now and again which I like. When you walk into the back, where they had classes for kids to do fun activities, it's all items for babies. Which I absolutely love that they did this. I'm not sure if they still do the activities for the kids though.
