No, you aren't dreaming! Perry Arenson runs this store with the best of the best. I went to several other stores before but won't waste my time doing that ever again. I am forever coming back to Arensons. I wanted an odd shaped quality table to fit in a small conference room. Looked online and knew it was going to take a long time to deliver and lots of money. Perry knew exactly what I was describing and had it ready in just a few minutes. They assisted with all the new furniture for our office remodel. Perry was relaxed, no pressure or hype, just genuinely nice. Loved hearing the story of his dad. A few days later a thank you note from him. I am forever his customer.

But only one employee was working (the other must have been on break because he came out later) - and he was on the phone with a customer for a good 15 minutes, without even looking up at me. I was determined to stay because I knew I was next (and would he really stay on the phone for 30 minutes?) - & because I'd gotten really bad passport photos done at the local Postal Annex - and UPS & AAA are closed on Sunday and I wanted to get this DONE (AAA had a really long line on Sat. & I knew it could be long if I tried again next week). Also my friend told me she got passport photos here and they came out well. So sure enough when the employee was done on the phone (wearied by the annoying customer who was doing way more of the talking), he did my passport photos quickly and they came out great. $16 is more than AAA charges, but less than Postal Annex and they came out beautifully. So 5 stars for my photos, 3.5 stars for the value, 1 star for the customer who kept the lone employee on the phone for 15 mins, and then you decide what I should give the employee who took great photos but didn't say hi once while I was the only one in line and waiting LOL.

Since then, I've gone in to buy cards, process Amazon returns, mailing, etc. The thing that is consistant every time is their friendly team!! Their customer service is on point every single time. Recently I was in the store to mail something and I overheard the person next to me trying to return an Amazon package. They were furstrated on the return and did not understand they were supposed to pack it first. The UPS Store employee took the time to explain it and gave them the option of purchasing a box and said they would help them pack it. You may say that was expected of the employee but personally, I rarely see this type of customer service these days. I hear them welcome every customer and then thank them when they leave! Kudos! I enjoy every time I visit the store and love all of the smiling faces! The location is convenient and plenty of parking. Stop by and check it out for yourself!

I had the worst customer experience here of my life today. I never write reviews but felt that it…read morewas warranted here. My recommendation is if you have Fedex returns don't go here. I am used to the UPS store where they are so nice and friendly and tape the box up and send you on your way. The complete opposite here. I walked in the store with my returns and there was no one else in the store. Empty. No greeting or anything. When I walked to the counter I could already tell the man was annoyed by his body language. He didn't even say "how can I help you?" Mind you, the store is empty. I said "Hi I need to return some packages." He looked super annoyed and said do you expect me to tape this for you? He said I will do it this one time. I said, "Oh I don't know that you don't do that here - I can take it somewhere else. He started SCREAMING at me ... SCREAMING ...."What do expect me to work for free? To waste my time and money taping your boxes?" I was like umm no I said I would take them somewhere else - you are saying that - not me - I said no thank you - I can tell you are really annoyed I will gladly take them somewhere else. It was shocking actually - the screaming. And I took my boxes somewhere else. I went straight to the FedEx on Del Mar Heights and had the opposite experience - they were so lovely and helpful - taped them with a smile and gave me my receipt. I told him my experience and he told me it's because the postal annex is a third party - but he was surprised because he said they get a stipend from FedEx for taking their packages. Maybe he was having a bad day - but his customers don't deserve the brunt of his anger. My advice if you have FedEx drop offs go to Del Mar Heights
