I also was offered a neck warmer which really helped take the pressure off my shoulders. The conversation with the nail tech was very natural and refreshing. Sometimes I hate just sitting there and trying to find an odd place to stare. (Ha Ha). Overall for the price my nails came out as expected. The shape was SPOT on which is the biggest issue I typically have. This time it was the curing of my polish. There were several bumpy/flaky areas which kind of made my nails look weird. I was excited to find a salon that advertised Gel-X, and my pedicure was great. Unfortunately, my Gel-X experience was disappointing. During the service, the technician cut several of my cuticles while working around the nail bed. I left with cuts and bleeding on multiple fingers, and two days later my cuticles are still burning and sore. I've attached photos showing the injuries. The Gel-X application was also not applied flush to the cuticle line, leaving noticeable gaps that make the set look grown out immediately. When I asked about it, the technician told me they don't do Gel-X very often. I think it's important for anyone specifically seeking Gel-X services to be aware of my experience. While my pedicure was good, I would not return for Gel-X nails.

As soon as we walked in we were sat and taken care of. They are so nice there and friendly. The pedicure had a massage chair and she made sure to adjust the water for me even though I was scared to say it was too hot LOL! they give you a 10 minute foot massage after the clean up of the toes (which was nice and thorough) and they do a nice scrub as well. I was honestly shocked at how good my toes came out and to be honest the entire pedicure was pretty quick as well. When it came to my nails she took her time, and made sure that anything I wanted I got. I asked her for a different nude and for the French to be thin and that's exactly what she did!! For my friends nails he made the shape nice and evened out and made sure she was happy with the polish she picked. We made our appointment for 2:30 and we left around 4 4:30 ish.
