I stopped at this salon while traveling from out of town and unfortunately had one of the worst manicure experiences I've ever had. The man who did my nails polished well outside the nail bed and didn't clean it up, leaving hardened polish around my fingers that wouldn't come off later. I had to ask for lotion because my hands were visibly dry, and there was no hand massage included -- something that's typically standard. Also, I asked for my hangnails to be cut and this was not done.
When I politely asked for areas to be fixed, he dismissed my concerns and told me I just wasn't "used to getting manicures." That couldn't be further from the truth -- I regularly get manicures and know what quality service should look like. I'll now have to get my nails redone once I return home.
To be fair, the young woman who did my pedicure provided a much better experience, which is the only reason I'm not giving a completely zero-star review if that were possible.
Still, I paid $85 plus a tip expecting a professional, relaxing experience and left disappointed and frustrated. I would not recommend this salon based on the manicure service I received. read more
