I went in today to get my nails done pedicure and manicure. They did it both while I was sitting in the chair for the pedicure so didn't get to really relax then when I got home, I realize that they didn't even cut my toenails Except for my big toe and I paid over 100 bucks for this, terrible terrible. They weren't even busy. Ladies are nice but the nail work is terrible. Went to get my gel polish removed and add new color, my usual nail place was far and i had a tight schedule so I decided to go here to give them a chance. The gel removal was painful and rough on my nail beds. While the nail tech was shaping my nails, a few more customers walked in and the nail tech started rushing the job. The way she shaped my nails wasn't even the way i asked her to shape them. The gel looks fat and chunky making my nails look goofy and like big olives. I'm never coming back here I rather drive further to my original salon than to ever come back here. Plus they charge more here than what i pay at my other nail place. Giving the one star just for the nice people but other than that i would give zero stars if i could because of the work and how the experience felt rushed. read more

Went in to get my acrylics off and get Shilac. It hurt so bad when she removed my nails and she was removing my real nail when pulling on the acrylic. I wanted so badly to like this place as my new neighborhood spot but looks like I'll be driving into town for better service and ethics. The owner is a thief. After receiving a terrible pedicure, where the tech drew blood three times on my cuticles and each time put this terrible burning oil on each cut. I realized l I left I had left my AirPods on the arm rest. I was already on my way to work so called immediately to ask if they were there. The woman I spoke with on the phone said yes they were still there (whew) and they would hold them in their lost and found. I went in the next day to retrieve them and no one knew about about my airpods and they called the "owner" who I had apparently spoken with the day before and they told me to comeback a few days from then when she would be in the store. Fishy? I think so.. I came in said day and the "owner" had already left and wouldn't be in again for two weeks because she was going on vacation to Florida but they did say she said she had them and I should come back to retrieve them. At this point I was definitely confused and couldn't understand why she hadn't just left them at the store? So I came back a third time and still no airpods, At this point it's been a month, I was pretty upset and they told be to call at this day and time and the owner will be there for sure to speak with. So I called, the owner said they no longer had the airpods because a client had taken them the day I had originally called when I forgot them, at this point I was livid, she'd been dragging me around for over a month saying yes, they had them, and turns out the never did? Lies. She told me it was my fault I should have come to get them the first day, shame on me for trusting a business when they said they had my property that they would keep it safe for less than 24hours. I told her this was a poor way to run a business and said she should replace my airpods because they had assured me several times they had them, and she hung up on me. Looking at the bright side, at least I didn't get a flesh eating virus from all the cuts on my feet. read more

I'm so disappointed with how my nails turned out. I asked for an acrylic full set with shellac, coffin style which turned out to be $40 dollars. The nails are shaped wonky and uneven. The nail on my thumb isn't even fully covered with acrylic! My nail beds are extremely sore, as well. The nail technician rushed me out after this horrible experience. They advertise that a full set of acrylic nails is $25 but that's for short nails, So I paid $31 for a shape that's close to claws (which i did not want). The lady who was doing them did not talk to me at all, was really rough with my fingers and basically filed my cuticles which hurt now. I don't think I will go back here to pay $31 for a sloppy job. I stopped by to get a full set recently and had a terrible experience. The woman working on my nails didn't let them dry properly leaving my nails with bumps and divots on almost every nail. The shape/ length of the nails were inconsistent and wonky. When they were cutting my cuticles they cut them so far to the point where they started to bleed. I was so embarrassed by how bad my nails looked that I just ended up cutting them off. I would not recommend coming to this location. read more

The customer service is awful. The wait times are never what they say and if you leave to come back for your time, DON'T! Your spot will be gone, they don't hold it for you. You have to speak up. My nails, shallac gel fill always cost me way more every time and each time. I have had 3 nails break within the week and when I went back 4 days later I got charged to fix all 3 nails AGAIN, it has happened one too many times. It's sad. I won't ever return. read more

The only thing good I can say about this place is that the chairs are nice. The lady I had dug into my toes cutting me, when yelped owe she just continued. They barely spoke to us and were pretty rough about telling me where to put my foot. I have been to this nail salon a few times before, but today I went for my 1st ever pedicure and 2nd ever full set. The people don't talk to you, and don't give you full attention. When the lady was putting lotion on my legs and massaging them, she gave more attention to one leg than the other because she was having a full conversation with another worker who was cleaning the pedicure station. She messed up on my toe nail polish, and did a sloppy job. The lady who did my nails put a nail on crooked at first, fixed it, but glued my skin, tore apart my skin from gluing it, and then made me bleed from trying to file my nail. One hand doesn't match the other hand's nails, and overall it was done sloppily, rudely, and I'm pretty sure I could have done a better job. This was definitely the WORST experience I've ever had in my life with my nails. The price is decent, but for the quality, it's not worth it. I don't recommend coming here for nails. read more

I wasn't planning on writing a review until I saw my credit card statement and it kind of made me mad. When I went to pay, I wanted to use my credit card but they said oh we have an ATM and there's no charge! I was skeptical but even after putting my card in, the machine said "do you agree to a $0.00 charge for the withdrawal?" So I figured it was legit, since it even said it right there. But of course, the next day my statement has a $2.50 charge on it for the ATM. Ok I'm not cheap and it's only $2.50 so it's not a big deal BUT I do not like being lied to! They HAVE to know that there's a charge, either through other clients or whatever so that annoys me. And they didn't do that great of a job on my nails; the lady wasn't rude so that's good I suppose. And they also insisted on charging my boyfriend $23 just to get his feet scrubbed and cleaned up, obviously he didn't want polish so I figured it would be slightly cheaper. But nope, "same price!" I have been going here for seriously over four years and I love this place!!!! Everyone has been nothing but nice, even to the point of accommodating my nephew who is a toddler. They ask about my daughter, always do a great job (I get acrylic nails and my eyebrows waxed) and the extremely few times (twice) that I have had a minor issue the owner was very kind and helpful. I have seen these ladies put up with horrible abuse from customers and carry on. They are professional and very good at what they do. No one is perfect, even shop employees make mistakes, please remember these ladies are humans, not robots, I highly recommend this place. I have been to this nail salon on 3 different occasions all which were not the greatest. The last and final time I came here I made an appointment for 5:30. I got there about 10 mins early picked a color and sat down I was sitting for probably 10 mins before anyone even greeted me. They finally asked me what I needed I told them I have an appointment for just a fill. They replied "okay give us 5 more minutes then you are next". I waited for 10 more minutes when finally one of the techs got up thinking she was coming to get me she got the girl sitting next to me (who was a walk in for a broken nail). The tech said she was taking her first because it was a quick fix. I reluctantly said okay and continued to wait. Total wait time was 45 mins with an APPOINTMENT!!! The only reason why I stayed was because I had an event the next night and really needed a fill. The tech that finally did my nails did a good job and was quick which I appreciated hence the 2 stars. But after I went to pay with my debit card I noticed an extra .50 cents charged. I asked what is the extra charge she said it was for using a card. I'm sorry it's 2017 I shouldn't be charged for using a card and if so why was I not told beforehand?! Not okay and not professional at all. Bad customer service and horrible wait times. However, I decided to come here once again to get my nails done for prom because I wanted a simple full set of acrylic nails with silver glittery polish, and I thought it can't be THAT difficult. Wrong decision. Every single time I come here, the nail techs cut my fingers when they're filing with the machine. I've never been SO upset over nails before. I asked for a full set of acrylics, which is advertised as $25. My total came out to be $36 because she decided to use shellac?? When I didn't say I wanted it. I paid $36 to not even get my nails fully painted. Moreover, my two thumbs ended up being different lengths and one's more wider than the other. I also asked for coffin shape nails... so why do my thumbs look like squares? I went home and cried because of how disappointing my nails are and how I have to wear these nails for prom. Even though I had an ok service here, after leaving I was a little upset. I was going to pay for a few of us to get all pretty. I was going to used my card and the lady told me I had to use the atm. (Let alone they have a machine and could of swiped my card). So after a few times the atm was being wierd so I ran to safeway. After I came back the lady was like oh we could of swiped your card. My grandma was pressured to take money out of the atm to pay and the lady took her card right out of her hand and stuck it into atm. I've lived in the neighborhood for 2 yrs, and moved about 3 miles SW last year. I've tried 6 Nail Salons within a 3 mile radius of Creative Nails, mostly b/c of convenience to where I live. I always end up back here. There is practically no difference in pricing. Only 1 salon was less expensive (by $2) for a combo mani/pedi, and another, more expensive by $5. Otherwise, the quality is good at most all. The true diff'c is in customer service, friendliness, and duration of service. I don't mind paying an extra $5 for good service, but the nice, new, pricer salon was pretentious and rude. Another salon made me wait through someone else's pedi to fix an accidental smudge. I never know when I will have time for an appt, so I am always a walk-in. Therefore, I've cycled through all the girls at this salon, and still don't have a regular b/c in 3 yrs only one rushed and nicked my cuticle. It happens. As a single parent, I sometimes bring my son, and they are always accommodating, even ask about him when I am solo. Their clientele ranges in regards to SES, race, and age. I've only witnessed kindness. One time an intellectually disabled person came in, w/ her guardian. I realized she was a regular b/c the whole salon greeted her, and took care of her immediately. I should let you know, I am not much of a talker during my mani/pedi's. I tend to read, rather than make conversation (it's my me time), however, all the girls "get it" and let me unwind. The salon is clean, organized, nothing too fancy or old. They can get swamped during peak hours, so be ready to wait or come back later. I guess this is all to say, I keep going back b/c I value customer service, and community is important to me. Try them out, I think you will agree. read more

They smile and lie to your face, and keep doing what they want. I asked if they do powder dip nails, most places don't, and they said they do. I was so exited. My mother and I got pedicures first with them first, and picked out the colors we wanted for the power dip. The pedi wasn't any good. My mother opted out of the massage, but I wanted one. Despite that our pedis were done at the same time. I made sure to ask multiple times for them to soak her nails before taking them off for a new set. I got the "okay of course" but they still filled them down and ripped them off leaving her nails paper thin. Once we started getting our manicure they started doing acrylic.. I tried to tell them we don't want that and we specifically said power dip. They continued to tell me how bad power dip is for me and that is why my moms nails are now ruined.. Stopped in for a pedi. Was in the neighborhood. The pedicure was ok. Had to ask for callus removal. But the girl was nice and listened to me when I said my toes were sensitive. Based on that I would have given three stars BUT I then decided to add on a mani with shellac removal. They didn't file the top coat before putting on the foil/acetone so it took them over 30 minutes to do the removal with the women in the shop getting nastier by the minute. I mentioned that they didn't file the top coat first and the woman told me they shouldn't have to. Ooooookaaaay. Every shop I've been to has and when I do them at home I have to as well. They finally ended up trying to file the rest off. I told them to leave it and that I'd do it myself at home. Then I went to pay and they gave me a bunch of flak for wanting to pay with a card.
