We had to call and text him numerous time to get him to our home. He showed up on a Saturday afternoon talking rapidly and appeared very nervous. Unfortunately he measured wrong. The template he created was at least an inch off. When the installers finally came with the product (another lengthy wait and another Saturday), they only had the template Dan had created to work with. They were professional but the final shower was off by at least an inch leaving us with large gaps in the drywall and in between the tile floor and the shower base. The other problem was the finished product was not the color we had picked from the sample board. When we talked to Dan bout this, his response was the sample boards fade and he never knows what he is going to get from the Durastone factory in Texas. We decided we needed to pull this product out and replace it with a white durastone product. When we communicated this to Dan, he responded with a very rude email that he was writing us off as a loss and would not do further business with us. It is August now. We had the shower temporarily plumbed and set up for our elderly parents who visit in the summer but we ar still dealing with what to do about this shower. This is the master shower of the master bath of our home. Buyers beware of Dan Bishop and Americast. His customer service and product leave much to be desired.

I placed a full priced offer before the house was officially listed. Needless to say they created a bidding war accepting two other offers and going past the dead line of accepting or rejecting my offer. After last best offers were accepted by all parties, they extended the deadline again. Two days later they came back asking if I wanted to up my offer. I refused to add any funds. I advised Lori that Mr Gardner would have never treated a customer in the fashion my family was treated. I received a call from the broker who advised me that one of the bidders had a escalating clause of $2000. He also stated that his realtors did nothing wrong. Looking at the situation. They did not act as a dual agent. More of a sellers agent only. Trying to boost the price for the seller, since the listing agent and the seller knew the maximum of the clause. Going forward several weeks. The home goes back on the market. I enter another offer higher than listing. They again delay and get another offer. I lost the bidding war after a much higher bid. The White House realty only pushes for the dollar and does not care for buyers. Needless to say I have vowed to never recommend or purchase a home listed by them ever. I recently moved into my cottage and am thankful for a wonderful realtor in Coldwell banker in Starwood. I purchased my cottage for much more than the home listed by White House realty. Please be aware, and think hard before dealing with White House Realty and any home listed by Brooke Edison.

It seemed like such a struggle to get quotes in order to move forward with our fencing plans. While…read moresome were over the top expensive, others were over the top inept. Finally, with our options dwindling, we were trying to figure out before winter, how to get this job done. Then we came across C&M Fence company. From the beginning, Cliff showed he was confident enough in his crews abilities, and yet honest in the fact that this "type" of fence was new to him. He didn't flinch. After a couple back and forth texts, quotes, modifications, revised quotes, C&M Fence won us over with his "can do" attitude, affordability and professionalism. He got the bid and within two weeks the work began. He told us "we should have it done by the end of the week". That made me suspicious because, unbeknownst to Cliff, we had trees. The trees he knew about. But the trees had roots and roots had more roots. So on the first day when I can home, I was pleased to see the posts installed - except for 4. The roots won that round. I was hoping C&M would be victorious but the trees were a formidable adversary. Day two - "The neighbor". I'm not going to go into a great deal of details on this obstruction other than to say, when you've live in a house as long as they had, and the last construction they witnessed included a boat housing two of every animal - they were clearly not impressed with our plan and they took great strides in discussing the matter with Cliff. Undeterred Cliff took it all in stride and carried on. So he won kudos with both root and neighbor victories. Soon came day 3, 4 and 5. He said he would be done by weeks end - he was a man of his word. Not only was the fence completed, on time and on budget, but they even cleaned up EVERYTHING they were involved with. No cups, trash, screws, lumber scraps, and the foundation was smoothed out, raked up and finished. Thank you Cliff and C&M Fence. Special note: 1. They even came back extra times to ensure the knockdown pattern matched the existing ceiling, and drove back to Midland immediately to adjust the color of the paint to ensure it matched. The project grew to painting the whole room, and some additional touch up to a small crack in our cathedral ceiling and living room walls. The added work for the cathedral ceiling required scaffolding which added to the quote, but then Matt adjusted that additional amount DOWN since we could leave the scaffolding in place for a couple of days. Bottom line is their price was reasonable, they were professional in their work and behavior, and I'm happy to recommend them.
