Rich is efficient and proactive - he goes above and beyond of what is expected of him. Our first remodel in Sausalito was a big job involving removing walls, adding beams, new windows and doors, new floors, fireplace, decks, kitchen, several baths, plumbing, electrical, etc. Each day we would go the construction site and see an incredible amount of progress and quality work. Rich and his crew have to be the best and fastest framers ever. We watched our neighbor's contractors replace a deck over a couple months. Rich did ours in a couple weeks. We did not think we would remodel another house until the perfect one came up for sale a few years later. This one started out as a small job but turned into a large project because the seller failed to disclose major problems. When everyone seemed to want to give up because of the magnitude of problems, Rich was the only one that kept us on track. His communication and organization skills coordinating with subs and working on a tight schedule is just incredible. He is absolutely the best.

We started calling around to find contractors and no one would call us back or even talk to us. One guy laughed at us, it was so stressful. I finally got a hold of Perry and he was amazing. He said he was probably too busy to take our immediate project but he took the time to talk to us, figure out what we needed and then refer us to a guy who could help. He also said that if we couldn't find anyone to call him back and he would find a way to help us. Perry's referral came out same day and was amazing. We hired Make It Right Construction for a fairly extensive kitchen refacing of the cabinet doors…read moreand drawer fronts, building a new island, installing quartzite countertops, and replacing an existing oven and wine refrigerator with new drawers and cabinetry. The quality of the finished work was exceptional. The refaced cabinets are beautiful, the new island came out beautifully, and the quartzite fabrication and installation look terrific. The new cabinetry where the appliances had been blends seamlessly with the rest of the kitchen. There was also some plumbing that needed to be redone along the way, and they took care of that as well. We especially want to recognize a few people. Ivan, the cabinet maker, did beautiful work. There were a lot of details in the cabinetry that mattered to us, and his craftsmanship and attention to those details really show in the finished kitchen. Manuel and Luis, who did the painting, were terrific as well. They were careful, meticulous, and clearly took pride in getting everything just right. In fact, that was our experience with the crew in general. Everyone who worked in our home was polite, considerate, accommodating, and as unobtrusive as you can reasonably be while tearing apart someone's kitchen. Whenever something needed adjusting or redoing, they took care of it and kept working until we were happy with the result. The one area where the experience could have been a little smoother was communication about scheduling. Since we stayed in the house during construction, it would have helped to have more advance notice about who was coming and when, and the project did take longer than we originally anticipated. But those were small inconveniences during the process rather than problems with the finished work. And the finished work is what we'll be living with for years. We couldn't be happier with it. The craftsmanship is excellent, the kitchen is beautiful, and when something wasn't quite right, they made it right. Five stars.

Their pricing was extremely competitive and he worked with me to stay within my budget. His flexibility allowed us to move quickly which was very important as we were under a time crunch to move out of our old place and into the new place. We had a really big job, pretty much painting every wall and ceiling in the house including kitchen and bathroom cabinets and all the doors to the house. The walls and ceiling in the house were knotty pine and we wanted to open up the space with a more modern look. Painting wood takes experience and skill with coat after coat of primer and multiple coats of paint to ensure the wood didn't show. After all that work, we asked Reid and team if they could caulk between the wood to make a smoother look but still show the wood. His team killed it! With the extra requests I was concerned that we may be way over budget and not meet timelines, but Reid managed both ensuring we got in on time AND slightly under budget! I highly recommend Reid and his team. A great bunch of guys who are professional, pay close attention to detail and are flexible to meet the expectations of the customer.
