Forklift created a 100% vegan menu for us, and the food was DELICIOUS and so BEAUTIFUL! We were really blown away, and got many compliments from guests. We felt like it really demonstrated that you can have a 100% plant-based menu at an event and have it be crowd-pleasing. Thank you for everything, Forklift! We'd love to work with you again.

They were always available to address any question or concern and were so adaptable to every plan change (down to just days before the event). They even functioned as our florist and arranged breathtaking floral displays to enhance the ambience. The catering staff and chef produced and provided great food that were the highlight of the event; I heard from everyone how much they enjoyed it (even had some on-call colleagues who gladly answered our calls because they knew they were going to be fed great food during their shift). Forklift is a top recommendation for any high-caliber catered event you might need.

We had an AMAZING experience with Tastings Catering. Sue the owner, Mat our banquet manager, and…read moreall of the rest of their staff were friendly, kind, attentive, and went above and beyond for our micro-wedding 2 months ago. Since we had a small COVID wedding, food was the main focal point of the affair, and Sue was able to take the difficult guidelines we gave her (a menu that celebrated our mixed Chinese/Haitian/Dominican backgrounds and had a homey/down to earth feel) and came up with an outstanding menu to fit this perfectly. She was understanding and sensitive about adjusting the menu to fit our budget, and she kindly gave us a very thorough tasting and made adjustments based on our feedback. She also offered to let us borrow numerous candles and decorations free of charge, which saved us an enormous amount of money and waste, which was ideal for us since we were trying to be as sustainable as possible. The day of our wedding, the Tastings staff did an impeccable job of setting up everything like we planned, the decorations they provided were gorgeous, everything was done exactly as planned and on time, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff was very thoughtful about making sure that my husband and I were fed. They made sure to set aside food for us during the cocktail hour, which we mostly missed due to photography time. We received a lot of compliments on the food from our guests: my Haitian father-in-law was impressed by the Haitian meatballs, which is NOT something most American catering companies can easily do, and the jerk chicken was rated as "authentic" by our Caribbean guests. Months later, I still have dreams about the gorgeous and tasty holiday-themed cookies Sue baked for us: my husband has promised me that we will buy cookies from Tastings again the next time we are in Massachusetts again. In short, we can't recommend Tastings enough for your wedding celebration: they were a key part of making our wedding a success. We hope to use them again for a larger anniversary party, whenever the pandemic is over.

After exchanging emails with a few other caterers and Tastings, it quickly became clear that Tastings would be the one for us. We met with Sue (who is amazing, warm, funny and a TALENTED chef!) and she really sold us. Tastings provided drinks to the guests before the ceremony (a nice touch), then provided delicious appetizers during cocktail hour and a fabulous sit-down dinner. They also provided two friendly, professional bartenders (we were able to supply the alcohol). They made my cake - which was DELICIOUS and CUTE! At the end of the night they passed out apple cider donuts, which were also a big hit.

Now this company has gotten to the point where they are making knowingly false comments to…read morethird-parties in an attempt to blackmail me into taking my reviews down. This behavior is beyond unprofessional, which was my grievance in the first review to begin with -- not that they made a mistake with my order, but that their response to their mistake was rude and unprofessional. There were several points since MAY this situation could have come to a peaceful end, or at least an end, period. They could have refunded me and the issue would have been resolved and I would have updated my review to reflect that. They could have done nothing, or they could have responded to the reviews myself and my family left, and then we all move on with our lives. Instead, she decided to make up factious stories for no other reason then to defame and harass me. I once again question how many people were bullied into taking down honest reviews because this company is willing to resort to unethical tactics to try and suppress bad reviews. I stand behind my original review and every time this business decides to take irrational and spiteful actions against me, whether it be through her lawyers or members of her family stalking my Linkedin profile, I am more convinced in my assessment that this business is unprofessional. Since Sara has already responded to my review and I've written my rebuttal, I personally see no reason to update my review or to write new ones. However, if she continues to slander me, then I will continue to update my reviews to reflect the chaos that she is deciding to perpetuate. I will, however, under no circumstances, take down my reviews. The facts stated are truthful and the conclusions I've come to are my opinion.

Charcuterie Platter: The salami and capicola were rich in fat but incredibly salty. The pepper ham was tender and had a strong smoky flavor with a slightly spicy aftertaste. I personally preferred the latter. Hot Brie Rasp Almond Fillo: This was my first time trying it.
