And I'm happy to report that it exceeded my expectations! The slice of pie was HUGE (very tall) and it had some kind of a sauce/cheese combo on top of the tomatoes that was fantastic. Combined with the pie crust, it reminded me of a slice of Chicago deep dish pizza! My husband and I also shared the following: cinnamon rolls, salted caramel brownie and a white chocolate raspberry bread pudding muffin. All were huge, rich in flavor and very satisfying. I already can't wait to come back again! :)

Because if I need it and it's not there I'll come find you. :) The filling was the best filling I've ever had. The baked portion, too. And I grew up enjoying the bakeries of NYC and the area. What made it so good? It was not a disgustingly sweet, gelatinous blob. It had what I could only call a "natural" style filling. Not gelatinous. Not super sweet. One bite and you'll know that this is the way it's really supposed to be. It will ruin your enjoyment of all other blueberry danishes. Like I said, don't order one. :) Bon appétit.

Sausage is ok, and likes the chicken when he is in the mood for it. He hasnt had anything there that he doesnt like. I loved the turkey, baked beans and Mac n cheese. Our Hurricane drink was pretty delicious( with part of the proceeds goes to a charity for that one particular drink). The server was polite and friendly. They smoke and bbq all the meats right out back of the restaurant so the food came out quick, fresh and amazing! I personally loved the Mustard and Sweet Red sauces while my husband prefers the slight heat of the Jalapeño sauce . The recipes for the sauces are hanging up on the walls as part of the decor. The only thing i could knock them for is the bathroms were a little dingy. Not really super dirty, just needs some updating with new tiles and paint. Overall great place and we will definitely will be returning!

However, I feel like we've had better barbecue up north than we did here... We ordered a brisket plate + a pork belly plate to share with mac & cheese, grits and corn pudding. I'm giving two stars for the sides & sauces being pretty good but that's about it. I don't know the area but I'm sure you can find better meats elsewhere :(

Luckily, considering it was early afternoon, they still had a decent variety of desserts to select from. Their drink menu is very limited, but we chose the honeycomb latte, which was absolutely incredible! (Your dentist won't be thrilled by your choice, however, lol) We also tried their cake bowl of the day and a huge salted chocolate chip cookie, which was probably one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever tasted! The cake bowl was some sort of mixed berry, it was very tasty! There is some indoor seating, but not a lot, as well as a few tables outside when it cools off. The prices could be considered slightly high, but I felt that the quality made for a good value. So, if you're looking for a traditional coffee shop, this is not it. But if you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth in an upscale, trendy locale, you must stop in!

They are also closed on Sunday Monday's. It's very chic inside, they have a small seating area & of note they are about to open a Creamery right next door. That will be yum. I'm delighted to be able to support local and wish them all the very best. If I'm ever back in Summerville I'll definitely return to Swank.

They delivered to his office & knowing I was in Ca she took a picture of my son receiving his baked goods & sent it to me! Plus a lot of the bakeries in the area close at 6. So I found Sweet Dreams on here and decided to give it a try. I called in an order around 5:45 and had fresh cupcakes and still warm from the oven cookies at my door by 8pm. Needless to say it made his day and I was more than impressed with everything. We ordered a sampler pack and had her pick out a variety for us. We ended up with some cinnamon things (yum!), apple supremes (husband's favorite so far), and several types of cupcakes as well as some warm chocolate chip cookies. My favorite is the chocolate cupcake. I've had cupcakes from some of the best bakeries and this one is right up there with them. It's moist, it's light, it's rich but not cloying, it's super chocolatey and it's just the right amount to satisfy that chocolate craving. I'll have to add more to my next order because my son claimed one and then wanted a bite of mine too! We still have a few more things to try but I expect they will all be just as good. She does take credit cards, you can pay ahead by phone or at the door, perfect since I rarely have cash on me anymore!

Honestly we did not like the Unicorn Dust at all, but the Peanut Butter Cup and Peach Cobbler were amazing! My daughter keeps asking when we can go back. They have two childrens books that tell you the "origin" of the dessert and vampire penguin stuffed animals for sale. Oh and some bottles of local honey for sale also. It is a very small store with only 1 person working at the time we went which made the wait time about 20ish minutes. That is the only downside. Our waiter was very attentive to our large party and food was brought out rather quickly. My biggest complaint was that food. I love eggs Benedict and a crab cake, so I had to make the obvious choice to get the crab cake eggs Benedict. The grits were very smooth and buttery with no lumps! The fried green tomato was fried to perfection but it didn't have much seasoning. It was beneath the crab cake, so maybe that's why it wasn't seasoned well. Also, the toast was really good. Idk what kind of toast you he had on the side but it went well with the jelly! My biggest gripe was the start of the show--the crabcake. It did not taste like a real crab cake AT ALL It tasted like a crab cake from a box with a lot of breading which was disappointing. Also, the breading on the crumb cake made it so crunchy to where I thought I was eating a chicken tender. Also, the sauce on top tasted weird and didn't complement any of the flavors on the plate. Overall, the experience was not bad. The menu is vast so I may be inclined to return to try other options. I just would not try the crabcake again.

It's a personal preference as a former barista, but making your own syrups or using Monin tastes better in my opinion. I ordered a whoopie pie as well to go and it was good. It was pretty sweet and large so it took about 3 days to eat. It still seems like they are working out the kinks as a newly opened business. I look forward to this fall holiday season and what they will come out with next!

Inside is a cute little place you can go and grab a slice of cake or pie, some fresh cookies, a fantastic smoothie or a light lunch sandwich. One of the owners was there, and he was super nice and friendly telling us about the business and different types of cakes and pies they have on different days of the week. They also sell jams, rice crispy treats of varying flavors and jellies. (I will be back for some of those this week- they will make great stocking stuffers or little gifts for the holidays) We both ordered a smoothie - strawberry / banana mine with almond milk and my son got his with oat milk. Mine was very tasty and filling substitute for a missed lunch, while my son also got a slice of the lemon cake with his. I am not a huge lemon cake fan, but once he started eating it and was telling me how awesome it was, I had to try it. And all I can say is WOW. IT MELTED IN MY MOUTH!!! It was so soft and moist, the icing was light, and the lemon flavoring was just perfect. I was upset with myself for not getting one for later, cause my son ate the whole thing in one sitting. Let me reiterate - I do not like lemon cake, but I wanted a slice of this lemon cake for myself. Its honestly THAT good. I cant wait to try a different flavor soon. I did buy myself some cookies (sorry I forgot to take pics of them before I ate them) and they were also soft and great tasting, hit the spot for something sweet after dinner. You can get your treats / food / drinks to go or to eat there, as they have the place decorated so cute. It reminds me of a little cafe in France I went to, plenty of seating, and spaced far enough apart you will not be intruding on the next table if you sit down. If you are in the Summerville area, on Old Trolley Rd take a dip in here and try it, I dont think anything they make can be bad at this point, we tried 3 things and it was a win - win for all 3. Going to try the lunch sandwiches next! OH!! and next door they have a cake supply shop. I didnt stop in, but it sounded like it was perfect for supplies you normally wouldnt find in the regular stores.
