I have driven by this place a few times and finally had a few minutes to pop in and see what it was…read moreabout. It did not disappoint. Inside is a cute little place you can go and grab a slice of cake or pie, some fresh cookies, a fantastic smoothie or a light lunch sandwich. One of the owners was there, and he was super nice and friendly telling us about the business and different types of cakes and pies they have on different days of the week. They also sell jams, rice crispy treats of varying flavors and jellies. (I will be back for some of those this week- they will make great stocking stuffers or little gifts for the holidays) We both ordered a smoothie - strawberry / banana mine with almond milk and my son got his with oat milk. Mine was very tasty and filling substitute for a missed lunch, while my son also got a slice of the lemon cake with his. I am not a huge lemon cake fan, but once he started eating it and was telling me how awesome it was, I had to try it. And all I can say is WOW. IT MELTED IN MY MOUTH!!! It was so soft and moist, the icing was light, and the lemon flavoring was just perfect. I was upset with myself for not getting one for later, cause my son ate the whole thing in one sitting. Let me reiterate - I do not like lemon cake, but I wanted a slice of this lemon cake for myself. Its honestly THAT good. I cant wait to try a different flavor soon. I did buy myself some cookies (sorry I forgot to take pics of them before I ate them) and they were also soft and great tasting, hit the spot for something sweet after dinner. You can get your treats / food / drinks to go or to eat there, as they have the place decorated so cute. It reminds me of a little cafe in France I went to, plenty of seating, and spaced far enough apart you will not be intruding on the next table if you sit down. If you are in the Summerville area, on Old Trolley Rd take a dip in here and try it, I dont think anything they make can be bad at this point, we tried 3 things and it was a win - win for all 3. Going to try the lunch sandwiches next! OH!! and next door they have a cake supply shop. I didnt stop in, but it sounded like it was perfect for supplies you normally wouldnt find in the regular stores.

When asked if he supply the pie, was told they need 24 hour notice and couldn't help me. Ended up with frozen pie from Harris Teeter. Happy Birthday

Ctr (Yorkmont & Tyvola for my local folks) from 1-3 and I took a chance and rode by today. She is parked near the entrance closest to Tyvola Rd. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors I had to choose from that I couldn't decide at first. The own Emma made a few recommendations which was helpful so I decided to go with the 4 cupcake sampler which was perfect. I was able to share with my coworkers when I returned to work. The packaging was great as I was able to carry them back to work without ruining the look of them. Please stop by and have yourself a sweet treat if you work near the Belk Corp Center on Tuesdays. I know I will be a repeat customer!

When you first walk in, assuming you come in the front door by the ice cream and not the back door…read moreby the bar, there is a electronic ordering kiosk that says order here. There's nothing else to tell you that you actually don't have to order there. You can walk up to the cash register about midway into the restaurant where you can order and pay. It wasn't intuitive and I don't believe that the restaurant is set up thoughtfully in that regard. If you're going to have food and you're going to have your tables sitting where it seems you sit and order not counter order, perhaps have someone greeting and telling patrons what they intend for you to do would be helpful. Inside is very feminine almost wedding-y. I know they have different restaurants around, so people must enjoy it, but I feel it doesn't exactly know what it wants to be. I was happy to see that they had a vegan option for food. The Greens Sandwich. Which was not awful, but also not great. The main flavors of the sandwich were mayonnaise and apple. The the sourdough bread was the best part of the sandwich. I felt that the sandwich was very overpriced at $17. I asked about the sweet potato wedges and the cashier was not knowledgeable on that. She spoke with the kitchen crew and was told I couldn't have them because they were fried with other contaminants. I told her I didn't mind that, I just wanted to know what I needed to take off of the bravas sweet potato fries to make them vegan (everything except the tajin). I received them and they were limp and cold and somehow, although they're not supposed to have any truffle on them, they did. Pricing wise, they were about a dollar a wedge which I find a bit much especially for how sad they were (and because I didn't get the toppings). I also got a strawberry iced oat milk matcha latte. The strawberry overtook the matcha flavor, so unfortunately It wasn't balanced. My favorite place to get that particular drink is Second State still and favorite overall plain oat milk matcha is from Summit. Price of the drink was pretty standard. My mother-in-law got the Bravas sweet potato wedges, and unfortunately, hers were also cold and limp, and she did not like them at all. My daughter tried one wedge and thought that the sweet potato was not even fully done, but liked the topping part okay. My son and his girlfriend shared a churro sundae. They thought it was very good; although, I feel like $13 was a bit much for it and $10 would be more acceptable... And they don't have any vegan ice cream options... yes they do have sorbet, but I have to really be wanting that and it's never my first option - so I will be continuing to go to Scoop Fifty50 when I want one locally and Off Track when I don't mind driving to Charleston. Reading the other reviewer's review (the first and only before me), she mentions sherbet, but I was told it's sorbet (sherbet has milk, sorbet doesn't). She also states the the workers take the used dinnerware from you; however, there is a dirty dish bucket by the front door that you're supposed to put your dirty items in yourself. Also, you have to go up and get your own silverware and condiments, also near the front door. They do have a free water station over there as well. And although the seating looks nice, it was very stiff and was not very comfortable to my group. I did not go into the bathrooms, so I cannot comment on that. So final verdict is, overall the establishment was new and clean but all was just okay. Unfortunately it's yet another establishment in Nexton that I was so excited for but won't be frequenting again. Although, I'm sure my kids will go back for special ice cream outings, as the location is convenient.
