BUYERS BEWARE!!! This guy is a crook and a downright awful human being!!! If I could leave zero stars I would!!! My family and I decided to use Creative Designs by Jim as the florist for my grandfathers funeral. We ordered nearly all of the funeral flowers from him. I went and met with him at his "shop" which happens to be in his home and the first picture is what I gave him as an example of the color family I wanted and I told him I wanted primarily light blue with some white and green accents in the background as light blue was my grandfathers favorite color. The second picture is a collage of pictures I took while standing in his shop of the flowers he told me he was ordering and we would use. I ordered a wreath and a garland to go in the casket from the grand children and great grand children. The last photo is what we got.. when I arrived to the visitation to discover what we received was nothing close to what we had discussed the previous day in his shop I called to ask what had happened and to make sure we had not received the wrong order. The first number I tried was the "business number" which is on his website. This number did not even have a voicemail set up. I then tried his assistants number who had been there as a part of the conversation the day before and who had given me her direct number "incase I couldn't get Jim". She answered almost immediately and told me she would send me another number to call to get Jim. When I finally got Jim on the phone and told him what was going on he became extremely defensive and proceeded to call me a "dumb broke b*tch who just wanted to complain" and when I asked if I could send him pictures of what we received he told me "he didn't want my GD pictures, that I was an f'ing liar that he had his own pictures", he even went as far to call me a GD liar and again a dumb broke b*tch who just wanted to complain when I told him I was at my grandfathers funeral and this was the last thing I needed to be outside dealing with right now because he thought the service was the next day. My husband placed an order through 1800Flowers for Valentine's Day. He ordered me a beautiful floral arrangement with TWO Valentine-themed balloons, a personalized card and a box of candy. I received a floral arrangement that looked like the flowers were already a week old, and it looked nothing like the arrangement that he picked out. It also only came with only ONE balloon that said "You're So Special" - not even close to a Valentine's Day message. No personalized card or box of candy was delivered. It did come with a standard notecard, and I called the phone number listed on the card and it just rang and rang. No option to leave a message either. I called 1800Flowers and told them what happened, and they placed a reorder, assuring me that everything that my husband ordered and paid for would be delivered. I waited 2 days and the reorder never showed up. I called 1800Flowers again and asked for a full refund, which they agreed to. Go to Google and read their reviews. I don't know how this company has stayed in business for as long as it has, but we will never use them again. Go through a local, reputable floral company! I received a bouquet of flowers in a vase for Valentines Day. My husband had ordered them through a third party . The bouquet was awful and looked like the flowers had been shoved in the vase. The stems were all of different lengths & the flowers were arranged at all different heights and looked a mess. Numerous flower heads were broken, the lily's were all fully open and 2 of the 4 had broken petals. The roses were of varied quality some with brown petals and one had mold on it. I had to take the arrangement apart, remove the damaged flowers, trim all the stems and rearrange them so they looked acceptable. My husband paid $110 including delivery & they were not worth that! I buy flowers weekly from a well known grocery store for between $5/$8 and they look and last far better. Luckily the company they were ordered through gave my husband a full refund. The WORST experience I have ever had with a florist. I wish there were an option for 0 stars. My husband ordered an arrangement the week on 2/7/17, to be delivered to me on 2/14/17. The delivery did not arrive until 4:45, and my office closes at 5:00 (cutting it a bit close, but it was Valentines Day...I get it). When I took the flowers in my office, I immediately noticed that there was some brown liquid dripping off one of the daises (I believe it was coffee...I hope). Then I noticed that a lot the the greenery was wilted (to the point that it would fall off it you lightly touched it). The roses were old and turning brown on the edges, and there was one daisy (right in the center or the arrangement) that was missing all its petals. The arrangement looked NOTHING like what my husband had picked out on from their website. I took photo's of the arrangement, and contacted the owner, Jim. He replied back, "OMG, I am so sorry! That arrangement is awful, don't know how it got through our inspection before it got put on a truck. Thank you so much for letting me know. I have scheduled another delivery for you tomorrow with an upgrade. I am so embarrassed! Jim" NOTHING was delivered the next day. So I e-mailed Jim again that night and told him, "I'm going to assume that you've decided to refund my husband's credit card, in full, since I did not receive a replacement arrangement today. You may come pick up the arrangement that was delivered, if you wish. Please forward me a copy of the refund receipt tomorrow or we will dispute the charges with our credit card company. This entire experience with your store has been a HUGE disappointment." This morning, I received a replacement delivery. This arrangement is better, but still looks nothing like what was advertised. Not only that, I think throwing 3 Lilly's in (that had dirt on them!) and calling it an "upgrade" is a stretch. This is by far the worst florist we've ever dealt with. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I wish I could do less that one star. I placed an order on December 12th to be delivered on December 23rd. On the 23rd I called to confirm that everything was good to go. I was assured the flowers would be delivered by 5:30 on December 23rd. They were never delivered. When I called the phone number listed I was sent to a phone service that forwards calls but for some reason they could not forward my call. I was out on and off hold for over 30 minutes where their only solution was to take my name and number and have someone call me back. On the 24th j called and was told the same thing. I Facebook messaged the shop and finally got a response and asked for them to call me... they did not. I was told that due to weather, the delivery driver was having trouble finding the address. It was raining... not a hurricane, not a blizzard, simple Wilmington rain. I asked how they were going to make this right as I had ordered in advance and had been told when to expect them and they said that if I didn't want the flowers any more they could refund me. I told them I needed the flowers delivered by 12pm or I'd be going to the Better Business Bureau. The shop responded that they would be fully refunding me as they could not guarantee my order by 12pm. The order was supposed to be ready the day before and delivered. I am so appalled by this store. The flowers were for my fiancé's mom and nana as this will be their first Christmas in 27 years with out him there. It was supposed to be a beautiful surprise for them and it was ruined by an incompetent flower shop. On top of all of this no one communicated any issues to me via phone or email.
