This is the most spectacular bouquet of roses I have ever received. . . It not only showcased the two dozen roses, but the greenery used included multiple varieties of different foliage and very little typical baby's breath that is normally seen. Palm leaves, eucalyptus, gorgeous dark green ferns, plus at least 4 other varieties provided a gorgeous backdrop for the large red roses. I cant say enough to tell them how much I appreciated all the effort that went into this beautiful display. Thank you. I will be using this florist in the future. read more

Would give zero stars if we could. I paid over $100 on Ava's flowers for a big sunflower bouquet- what I received from creative designs by Jim looks like someone stopped on the side of the road cut down 7 sunflowers that were dying and put them in a dollar tree vase. So disappointed at the amount of money spent on not even $20 worth of flowers!! read more

My mother in California ordered flowers to be delivered to me near Wilmington, North Carolina for my birthday, and I was very pleased with what I received. I did not do the ordering and can't comment on price, but I can say that I thought the floral arrangement was very lovely, and all the flowers looked fresh. I enjoyed the variety of flowers and how well the arrangement looked with my dinning room's color palette. read more

Service, product and the way they treat people. Very unprofessional they deliver 1/2 dead flowers ( that hasn't even lasted a week)thrown in an ugly vase. No arrangement , no baby breath, no bow, card did not say what it was supposed to, just tossed in. Definitely in the wrong business. The worse part was when I called I was told I was bitter b (twice). I would give negative stars if I could, doesn't deserve a 1 star at all! read more

Ordered a $60 arrangment as a gift for someone from 1800flowers. It was fulfilled by Jim and not at all what the item looked like on the florist website. He took a photo of the item when he delivered it. When I called 1800flowers to complain, the rep asked "where are the rest of the flowers?" Indeed! They are replacing the order. I opened my front door to a surprise. The flowers weren't wrapped in the vase, no bow, and the message was typed on a heavy paper folded in the flowers. DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST...WASTE OF MONEY. Delivered by someone in car, no markings. Not wrapped or in box at base like usual, just in a vase with type written note. Flowers look like they were purchased at Walmart or any grocery store & plopped in a vase. The stems felt slimy & dead leaves in water. No pakette of the powder they usually give you. The next day flowers were drooping & dying. I changed the water. By evening the purple daisy like flowers were dead & petals all over counter. The white roses were dead, red roses turning black. These flowers didnt even last 2 days. read more

Never have I ever done a yelp review until today. I received the worse flower arrangement in my life. The arrangement, if thats what you want to call it, was just thrown in a vase. It was not arranged with any care or thought at all. The red roses that apparently were filleres where mostly dead and on their way out. When the delivery man brought them I immediately told him that it was half dead. He said he's only the one who delivers them. Do not use this florist at all. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I would NOT recommend this florist to anyone. It is an absolute joke of a florist! My husband ordered flowers as a surprise for me at work through 1-800-flowers. They were delivered yesterday and not at all even close to what was shown in advertisement. Understood it's not going to be exactly the same but for $93.00 there was not even $93.00 worth of flowers in the vase. My husband reaches out to 1-800-flowers and said they would reach out to the office. They turned it down stating it was delivered and they were satisfied with what was delivered. My husband would have been better off going to Walmart and grabbing a bouquet on his way home than what was delivered. Not at all worth his money. If you are satisfied with this delivery this shows the kind of florist you are. I will never recommend you to anyone. read more

RIP-OFF SCAM ARTIST. My poor daughter. She is young and does not make a lot of money. She was so excited to send her 1st floral arrangement to me, her Mom, for Mother's Day. She spent a lot of money! A 1-star does not do justice to this ridiculous situation. I honestly don't understand how or why this place remains in business. Please, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I ordered an extra large arrangement from 1-800-FLOWERS and for the second time they used this laughable local florist to arrange and deliver my order. They delivered what was clearly a small arrangement instead of the extra large I had ordered. I immediately called 1-800-FLOWERS and they sent out a re-delivery which was supposed to arrive the next day, but they didn't re-deliver it until two days later. Well, they once again delivered a small arrangement instead of the extra large I ordered. They are so small that putting both small arrangements together does not come anywhere near close an extra large as shown in the picture from 1-800-FLOWERS. At this point I am seeking a full refund from 1-800-FLOWERS and that they discontinue their partnership with this local florist. They are simply scamming people hoping that they don't notice that what they received isn't what they ordered so they can keep the extra cash. Totally absurd! read more

BUYERS BEWARE!!! This guy is a crook and a downright awful human being!!! If I could leave zero stars I would!!! My family and I decided to use Creative Designs by Jim as the florist for my grandfathers funeral. We ordered nearly all of the funeral flowers from him. I went and met with him at his "shop" which happens to be in his home and the first picture is what I gave him as an example of the color family I wanted and I told him I wanted primarily light blue with some white and green accents in the background as light blue was my grandfathers favorite color. The second picture is a collage of pictures I took while standing in his shop of the flowers he told me he was ordering and we would use. I ordered a wreath and a garland to go in the casket from the grand children and great grand children. The last photo is what we got.. when I arrived to the visitation to discover what we received was nothing close to what we had discussed the previous day in his shop I called to ask what had happened and to make sure we had not received the wrong order. The first number I tried was the "business number" which is on his website. This number did not even have a voicemail set up. I then tried his assistants number who had been there as a part of the conversation the day before and who had given me her direct number "incase I couldn't get Jim". She answered almost immediately and told me she would send me another number to call to get Jim. When I finally got Jim on the phone and told him what was going on he became extremely defensive and proceeded to call me a "dumb broke b*tch who just wanted to complain" and when I asked if I could send him pictures of what we received he told me "he didn't want my GD pictures, that I was an f'ing liar that he had his own pictures", he even went as far to call me a GD liar and again a dumb broke b*tch who just wanted to complain when I told him I was at my grandfathers funeral and this was the last thing I needed to be outside dealing with right now because he thought the service was the next day. This is only part of the numerous obscenities I was called on that phone call and as the icing on the cake he told me he was getting in his car and was on his way to pick up all of the flowers.. so I spent the remainder of my grandfathers visitation on edge, shaking, obviously upset and in fear that this lunatic was going to barge in and take the flowers we had paid for. I have never in my life been spoken to like this and I am downright appalled by the way I was treated by this sorry excuse of a "business owner" read more

My husband placed an order through 1800Flowers for Valentine's Day. He ordered me a beautiful floral arrangement with TWO Valentine-themed balloons, a personalized card and a box of candy. I received a floral arrangement that looked like the flowers were already a week old, and it looked nothing like the arrangement that he picked out. It also only came with only ONE balloon that said "You're So Special" - not even close to a Valentine's Day message. No personalized card or box of candy was delivered. It did come with a standard notecard, and I called the phone number listed on the card and it just rang and rang. No option to leave a message either. I called 1800Flowers and told them what happened, and they placed a reorder, assuring me that everything that my husband ordered and paid for would be delivered. I waited 2 days and the reorder never showed up. I called 1800Flowers again and asked for a full refund, which they agreed to. Go to Google and read their reviews. I don't know how this company has stayed in business for as long as it has, but we will never use them again. Go through a local, reputable floral company! I received a bouquet of flowers in a vase for Valentines Day. My husband had ordered them through a third party . The bouquet was awful and looked like the flowers had been shoved in the vase. The stems were all of different lengths & the flowers were arranged at all different heights and looked a mess. Numerous flower heads were broken, the lily's were all fully open and 2 of the 4 had broken petals. The roses were of varied quality some with brown petals and one had mold on it. I had to take the arrangement apart, remove the damaged flowers, trim all the stems and rearrange them so they looked acceptable. My husband paid $110 including delivery & they were not worth that! I buy flowers weekly from a well known grocery store for between $5/$8 and they look and last far better. Luckily the company they were ordered through gave my husband a full refund. Steer clear of this "business". It's comprised of rude, dishonest people that don't know the meaning of customer service. If you wish to see $75 wasted, I'd advise burning the money instead, at least that way you wouldn't have to interact with Jim and his cronies. They have a deal going on now, a $75 bouquet for $50. The WORST experience I have ever had with a florist. I wish there were an option for 0 stars. My husband ordered an arrangement the week on 2/7/17, to be delivered to me on 2/14/17. The delivery did not arrive until 4:45, and my office closes at 5:00 (cutting it a bit close, but it was Valentines Day...I get it). When I took the flowers in my office, I immediately noticed that there was some brown liquid dripping off one of the daises (I believe it was coffee...I hope). Then I noticed that a lot the the greenery was wilted (to the point that it would fall off it you lightly touched it). The roses were old and turning brown on the edges, and there was one daisy (right in the center or the arrangement) that was missing all its petals. The arrangement looked NOTHING like what my husband had picked out on from their website. I took photo's of the arrangement, and contacted the owner, Jim. He replied back, "OMG, I am so sorry! That arrangement is awful, don't know how it got through our inspection before it got put on a truck. Thank you so much for letting me know. I have scheduled another delivery for you tomorrow with an upgrade. I am so embarrassed! Jim" NOTHING was delivered the next day. So I e-mailed Jim again that night and told him, "I'm going to assume that you've decided to refund my husband's credit card, in full, since I did not receive a replacement arrangement today. You may come pick up the arrangement that was delivered, if you wish. Please forward me a copy of the refund receipt tomorrow or we will dispute the charges with our credit card company. This entire experience with your store has been a HUGE disappointment." This morning, I received a replacement delivery. This arrangement is better, but still looks nothing like what was advertised. Not only that, I think throwing 3 Lilly's in (that had dirt on them!) and calling it an "upgrade" is a stretch. This is by far the worst florist we've ever dealt with. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Their response to this review will probably be that, "It's Valentines Day, our busiest day, etc." Other florists we've ordered from seem to manage just fine. COMPLETELY ruined my Valentines Day. read more

I got an ordered delivered to the office today. The card was typed on a folded piece of paper and the wording was faded. The order has azaleas and white roses. The azaleas are droopy and look sad. The roses are wilted, and the balloons were poorly inserted into the flower bed so they flew right up out of the vase. (Not secured with the steak that was in place). I didn't complain to the sender because they ordered from a whole time zone away, but I will suggest not to order again with reading reviews because I'm sure that it was not worth what he spent on them. Now I sit in the executive suite and have droopy flowers on the desk. Not a good look at all in front on my peers. -KB read more
