I sure hope this arrangement stays fresh for at least 2 weeks. This is what I ordered online and what was delivered. Plus, I called to confirm and ask about substitutions, even mentioning the succulent. $100. With the years in the business and experience, I expected better. I don't think it looks like they tried their best to replicate or compensate if there needed to be substitutions. Unique and special as opposed to mediocre and adequate. After speaking to the employee, I felt confident that my order would be prepared and delivered beautifully. I'm disappointed in this transaction. Deceived! Never using Eddies Florists in Wilmington , NC again. The item delivered to my recipient DID NOT come close to what I selected based on description and pictures on website. I understand the need for some substitutions, but this was a completely different arrangement. I order a modern style dish garden, with a mix of plants with river rock covering soil in a mint green container. The florist sent a sparse filled dish garden, moss covered soil in a dark brown/beige bowl type container with fresh flowers added to fill in for the lack of plants in dish garden. I called the merchant and only received excuses defending their decision to deliver the item sent. Unbelievable. Many other choices so save yourself disappointment and pick another florists. read more

I ordered flowers for my mother for Mother's Day I ordered a traditional zen artistry, bamboo, orchids, and a square vase, etc. It was processed through this florist, and they decided to send something completely random. Nothing of what I ordered was in the vase Please refer to pictures. I originally thought it was their fault, but it turned out to be teleflora not specifying what I told them to. They still sent something nice that my mother loved. I appreciate that. I would recommend you guys don't work with teleflora, you're going to end up with angry customers *I apologize for my original negative review I misunderstood the circumstances* Thank you Harry H for making sure I at least got to have a Mother's Day for my mom. I won a giveaway from Yelp which was from Eddie's Floral Gallery which I was so excited about but then I got them and was even more happy! My experience at the shop from the moment I walked in was a 10/10. Eddie greeted me with such a positive attitude like he knew me for years and was so happy to see me again. I told him who I was, he immediately started working on the flowers and I walked around the shop looking at all the vases and things he has available. He has tons of options to vases to put flowers in depending on the occasion, check out the photos for all the examples. The flower arrangements are gorgeous! Just look at the memorial photo I have at the end. We ended up talking for 15 plus minutes and I learned so much about him, how involved he is in our community and the rose he donates to the Wilmington Police Department for our Honor Guard memorial. He showed me the plaque which was given to him by a sergeant at WPD and it was beautiful, we appreciate you Eddie! Your flowers are gorgeous, service was amazing and we will be back. read more

Very disappointed. Less than 24 hours after delivery my flowers looked like this. I have grocery store flowers that are a week old that look better. So disappointed. It puts one in a difficult spot because I do not want to complain to the gift giver - but the florist needs to know they don't always get away with delivering stale/damaged flowers. read more

I generally use another florist when sending flowers, but this year the other florist only had a few options from which to choose. Teleflora had so many options and they had a cute Thomas Kinkade arrangement with an old fashioned firehouse which held special meaning for me and my mother. I looked at reviews for local florists and one florist had horrible reviews and I did not want that florist to make the arrangements. Simply stunning arrangement. I'm visiting from out of state and wanted to give my sister a floral birthday cake for her birthday. I used a known online delivery service who chose a florist in this area to fill the order. I am so very pleased after seeing what was delivered. Vibrant and fresh, this cake flower arrangement even came with a white plastic pedestal to support the "cake like" presentation. I will keep this florist in my contact list to use in future. The flowers in the arrangement were so fresh that they lasted over a week. They were delivered quickly.

Extremely disappointed in this place. I ordered a bouquet of flowers online to be sent to my grandmother for her birthday. At 8pm on her birthday the flowers had not arrived. They had been delivered to an empty for sale house at the other end of the street and just left on the porch. I reached out to them in an attempt to make this right and Eddie himself wouldn't give me the time of day. Refused to even acknowledge this mistake was possible. read more

I would not recommend this florist if you are shopping for an emotionally sensitive and time-sensitive event. I called on a recommendation from Andrew's Mortuary. I was specifically recommended to Eddie and told he would work well with the mortuary to ensure that an arrangement I was ordering would show up in time for the funeral. I was ordered the flowers mostly for the benefit and support of my grandmother and my mother who were coming in from out of town to the funeral for their son/brother. The flowers did not show up on time for the service in spite of my own communication to the florist for when the funeral would be held and my assurance that they would work with the mortuary to ensure they arrived in time for the service. I was told later that they were not made aware of the time because it was a private event. I had told the florist the specific time and location of the event, and he had my contact information so I asked why he had not called me to confirm the time if the mortuary didn't? He had no answer. They are sending the flowers to my aunt's house, and I'm glad someone will enjoy them, but I had already ordered a separate bouquet to her house and specifically ordered this arrangement for his service so my mother and grandmother would sense my support at this very difficult event that I could not attend. No offer was made to reimburse me for the loss, or have flowers sent from another florist to my out-of-town relatives who were the original intended recipients. I am told the bouquet is gorgeous. I don't doubt that, but it really is pointless since my grandmother and mother will never enjoy it and it was missing from the service. read more

I ordered a Christmas floral arrangement through Blooms Today, and it was delivered by Eddie's Floral Gallery. It was not what I paid for! I paid for an arrangement with 7 different flower types but what my mother-in-law received had only red roses, white carnations and pine boughs! I even paid more for an upgraded vase, but they delivered the standard one. My sister-in-law suspected that we didn't get what we paid for and sent me a picture. They even left leaves on the stems inside the vase. It literally looked like the flowers were shoved inside with no arranging at all! I called Blooms Today and they stood behind their 100% satisfaction guarantee. Beware of this "upscale florist;" they are anything but and I will NEVER order from them again. read more

I was searching for a florist in Wilmington as my girlfriend lives there and I live in Atlanta! It's hard to know who to call. I spoke with Eddie and he warned me that if was the week after Mothers Day and their supply was really low. I expressed to him that I wanted something very special and modern that didn't look like a traditional floral arrangement. Something unique! I was very nervous and hoped that they would be pretty.
