I only asked him to change my the tire and after having the bike for 10 days, which is 9 days longer than he said he would need, I picked up my bike with multiple issues. For starters the tire was on backwards, the Caliper wasnt even mounted on it at all it was just hanging there, my belt was tight against my exhaust, he attempted to clean my bike without asking and used some chemical that took the clear coat off bike and for some unknown reason he used some paste and buffed my seat which completely ruined my seat. All of this happened today on a new 2021 hd streetglide that was less than 3 months Old. This owner then admitted that the worker over filled the oil reservoir but they could do nothing about it and tried to blame it on the fact that it was recently rebuilt even though it had been rebuilt for 6+ months with 0 issues other than an oil light coming on. They tried to misquote him 70$ for a part then declined to inform him the part was actually 250 and tried to still order it without his consent or knowledge . They told him it would be done within a week or less and it ended up being 3 weeks all for a 300$ "fix" to do nothing but total the bike entirely. again thankfully nobody was behind him , riding his bumper , or even on a turnpike . It's sad that the owner only cares about making himself look good and not actually care about the risk involved with working on these motor vehicles. If you don't have common sense that over filling the oil causing it to go in places it doesn't belong in 30 degree weather where the viscosity is more thicker than you should not be owning anything involving fixing vehicles. learn to take ownership before you cost someone their life over sloppy work and unprofessional management

We recently had to sell an RV due to the death of a family member. We contacted Jim Nichols at…read moreNichols RV and Truck Center and he immediately came out to inspect the coach. He was respectful, honest, and professional. We set up a meeting the following day to discuss options for the coach, including holding it in consignment at his center, or selling outright (which we chose). Throughout the process of negotiation, Jim was factual, specific, and candid. We quickly came to agreement on the price for the transaction - with a handshake. Do you remember what those were?? Due to the fact that I live in Seattle, and the coach was in FL, Jim handled all of the details - from having the rig moved, to filing all of the paperwork. Throughout the process, there were the standard delays (in dealing with banks, and DMVs). But Jim would always call to say, "Don't sweat it - the deal will happen when it happens!" Jim and his team went out of their way to update me on the progress of the transaction, and was not, in any way, pushy or overbearing. It is very rare in today's environment, to find a businessman, and a gentleman, in one package. Jim Nichols is such a person! If I was an RV enthusiast, I would go out of my way to do business with Nichols RV Center! Do yourself a favor - do business with Nichols RV and Truck Center. You won't find a better experience.
