I needed my headliner (which has a moon-roof) done badly so I looked around and narrowed the choice down to two shops - Herman's and Creative Customz. Both places wanted to assess the vehicle in order to provide a hard estimate. I first went to Herman's and requested a written estimate for the work. The associate was very hesitate on providing something in writing; but later resorting to writing the amount on the back of a business card.
I then went to Creative Customz who immediately printed out a proper invoice for service. Not only where they professional, but also friendly, courteous, and a more vehicle-centric environment. We set up a time for Friday. I came early morning and stayed. The owner allowed me to set up inside the office with them and be productive while I waited. A very hospitable group. So much so that I felt as though I was a welcomed guest in their home. I dealt mainly with John, a co-manager, who had to step in and finish the job since a technician left.
The fabric was an exact match. They had to remove the front seats, replace the lining, attach the fabric, and reconnect the lighting instruments. So much work went into the project that I felt like I was ripping them off for the price I was quoted. Especially seeing all the other high-end jobs that were taking place at the time. John was also a perfectionist, staying late (on a Friday!), making sure that my vehicle was thoroughly vacuumed, detailed, and ready for return.
