My friend recommended Village Cleaners as the first stop- she raved to me about their services as my friend had her wedding dress cleaned and altered there. K.C. the owner of the shop is Korean (Koreans are the sweetest people ever!) and she's as honest as they come. She was asking me what the dress was for- clearly I loved it bc I bought it 2 sizes too big and offered great suggestions in how to fit the dress properly to my body shape. K.C. was good about being transparent with cost and timeline, and I truly felt liked she cared :) The whole fitting experience at Village Cleaners was beyond what I expected- you normally get that kind of attention and kindness if you're spending a lot of $$$$$ in places like L.A. and NYC and even then it's not quite authentic. Since my dress (which by the way received so many compliments), I have returned with my dry cleaning, and found equally great quality. But yesterday on Thursday picked up my three pants I had dry cleaned (mind you none of them discolored) and when I received them, one of my suit pants had weird pinkish discoloration. The lady was not the "boss" so I left them there for boss to look at, and this morning spoke to owner/boss, about discoloration and he told me it wasn't him or his common fault and they were "due to sweat (from me). I told him the discoloration was not there when I dropped off, and gave me look as it was (basically saying I'm lying). So refused to acknowledge damage and restoration. Obviously last time I do business with them, and I'm out of a suit!!! Disgraceful indeed. And I noticed he must of tried to do something to get out because you can see in picture I took, it appears to be a wet ring around pinkish area. Both legs have discoloration. He had to insult me on the material my pants were (polyester and wool mix) and that's why discoloration as well.
