Joe actually left his office in the middle of the afternoon to come back and adjust a small detail that needed fixing. I had never heard of Crative Capet though have lived in the area for decades. When looking to redo our small family room (where we spend a lot of time), I reached out to Next Door to inquire about good carpet places. I was really hoping to avoid the "big name / big box" stores. Creative Carpet was recommended so I thought I'd give them a whirl. WOW - what a hidden gem. The building is quite nondescript but what is contained within is a shining example of an excellent business. The people that work there are so knowledgable, friendly and easy to work with - they're helpful beyond measure. Their customer service is unsurpassed -I f it isn't right, they will make it right. The carpet in my mother's condo was looking very worn down. So much so that I am guessing it was steamed and washed a hundred times since it was originally installed back in the late 1970s. After going to two other places for quotes, I listened to my friend and fellow yelper Kerry D. and visited Creative Carpet. I was helped promptly and was shown a few of the different options available. By sticking with a carpet that was in stock, I was able to save a good 20% from what I had been quoted elsewhere. The installation was scheduled for the following week, which worked perfectly for the timeline I had in mind. The installer turned out to be a contractor, a team of two men. They were friendly and worked quickly. They were done and the carpet looked excellent! Shortly after they left, I noticed that the carpet in the closets wasn't fastened properly to the concrete floor. I was afraid that it would become a big issue when I called Creative Carpet to ask that it be fixed. This was not the case. They handled the situation very well and showed me excellent customer service in quickly addressing my concerns and finishing up the installation. They didn't ask for payment until well after they had fixed the problem. I am very pleased with the way the carpet turned out and with the great value and customer service that I received. read more

I hired Creative Carpet for new carpet and kitchen/bathroom flooring in a small one bedroom condo. I hired them based on Yelp reviews. Andy was incredible friendly, prompt and helpful. Putting in new carpet/flooring is not cheap but a friend of mine said she researched lots of local companies and Creative Carpet was the most competitive. I did use in-stock carpeting and flooring to make the cost as reasonable as possible. The two crew members (Rafael and Giovanni) were prompt and pleasant. They did a very good job and I would hire Creative Carpet again. I appreciate that they take credit cards as it was more than I could afford in cash. read more

Excellent experience! We purchased Mohawk Berber carpet that had a defect, with no questions asked Andy completely took care of it. I just used this company 3 weeks ago and found them to be really unprofessional, from customer service to the execution of the job. The subcontractor they used to actually install the flooring barely spoke English so communication was very difficult. The job was delayed twice and when I called the main office about it, the employee was extremely rude and not at all apologetic. The job eventually got done but their communication was poor, they lack professionalism and I can't recommend this vendor. read more

Creative Carpet did a wonderful job installing a new rug runner on two sets of our stairs. Communication was great and service was excellent throughout the process. We worked with Creative Carpet to to help us install a runner on our stairs -- and we had a great experience. When we bought our house, we refinished the hardwood floors, which were beautiful, and also very slippery on the stairs. We didn't want our daughter and dog to slip, so we went to Creative Carpet. Had this company install carpet recently. They were very helpful in the showroom and even showed us a significantly less expensive carpet that was essentially the same as the one we originally wanted. They came over to measure and brought samples to make sure we were happy with our choices. They made sure we were happy with where any seams would appear as well. They were very accommodating about the installation schedule and got us in before the holidays. The installation team was professional, efficient, and did top quality work. Asked Joe at Creative Carpet to do a bid and install on a very specific date. He did a measurement within a day and delivered a professional, itemized competitive quote - said he could get it done when I wanted, too. Although I chose another vendor, based on Joe's professionalism, I'd recommend using Creative Carpet and dealing with Joe! We selected Creative Carpet because it was recommended by our builder (who has used many carpet stores in the past and professes that Creative Carpet has the best prices and customer service.) We could not have been happier. We actually had to split the installation into 3 different days and Joe was ultimately accommodating. They helped with the selection and whittled down the many options and helped me select the highest quality carpet while still staying within my budget. These guys have been in the business for years. We had a our basement repaired following a flood. Our contractor wanted to use a home improvement store because of the cost. While researching local carpet stores I came across Creative Carpet and called because of the ratings on Yelp. Joe came to our house dropped off a few samples, took measurements, and had the carpet installed in 10 days right before Christmas. Somehow I hit a snag and Joe came to fix it 2 days after Christmas. We could not be happier with the selection they had to choose from. Amazingly their customer service was even better. We went into creative carpets after being disappointed with the service/sales in the big box stores. We were met by a salesperson who helped us get to a reasonable number of carpets to look at. When we asked for a very quick installation, they had someone at our home the next day to measure. The carpet itself was installed in 2-3 days after visiting the store. The dispatcher/coordinator was super friendly and quick to communicate a cancellation on their end, and quick to schedule another appointment that fit in with my schedule. The guy that came was an older retired man who was contracted from R.I. He was early for the appointment and got right to work. Didn't even mind our cats. He worked quickly and the seams of the patch job are virtually undetectable. He even asked for a vacuum when he was finished to clean up! We were very impressed with his work. Bought and had carpet installed a few years ago. Observed installers not using proper techniques and called the office to complain. I was told, by management, not to worry carpets would lay down and there would be no problems. Well as I predicted the carpets after a few years are buckling. I was assured that there would be no problems. You might save a few dollars at this store but you are going to pay more in the end. Strongly recommend using experienced installers and not these clowns. read more

My buying experience was good, I thought. I got a house full of carpet at what I thought was a very good price. I was told what a great guarantee it had, how it'd hold up, why they had the very carpet I purchased on the floor in the showroom. Well, when the carpet wore in less than 5 years, I was told it wasn't a very good color (nothing was said about the lighter color I picked due to wanting to brighten my rooms), this was "normal wear" for a family of 4. You could see paths in the carpet. NOT NORMAL WEAR. My friend bought a carpet elsewhere a few months after I did. Her carpet still looks new, she has a family of 4 and her carpet still looks like new..and she entertains CONSTANTLY. Oh, and the carpet I bought was not one they no longer carried.....So in the end, nothing was done, and I was NOT A HAPPY CAMPER. I went elsewhere for new flooring and will tell everyone I know of my experience. It's great when you're buying, but when you're several years down the road, dont expect any service despite a warranty that you are told about when you buy. read more
