I really really did not want to write this but even seeing the last post gave me some courage. If I can help someone not experience what I did, then I feel obligated. The latest review was exactly what I experienced. Shelly not even responding back after being paid in full is to me ridiculous. I am the customer, but yet I am the one calling and being ignored for a product or update. Im afraid to call and ask for what I paid for or even write this review because I really want the memories from my wedding. This is not something someone should ever feel as a customer who is paying for something so sentimental! No one should have to experience that and I would love to update my review to 5 stars if I ever receive a response and get the video I have paid for. I am not the only person who feels this and I know 2 others who are going through exactly this at this very moment! So my reception was February 2019. He said it's slow season and 2 months it should be done. Ok cool. The day of, I hear nothing and they show up with 2 camera guys and I had no issues there. Well, 2 months goes by and delay... ok cool. 3 months crickets and eventually he responds says his phone is lost and ask me what songs I want... which I'm like dude I gave that to you like 2 months ago so hmmm this makes me think you havent event started... now 4 months and I message maybe 1 time a week and he says ok we shall it by end of the month. Well... now end of month and again crickets. No surprise. Meanwhile, my friends are messaging me saying he taped their wedding back in Oct 2018 and they haven't heard from him or received a video. I told him to call them and he never did. She had to ping him repeatedly. Still she has no video. We all paid in full and honestly cannot help but to feel scammed and sad and frustrated. Honestly, if it took 6 months then I wish he would just say that and have our expectations there but he didnt. And now with 2 months to 5 months and hearing no responses back and having others reach out as well about this issue makes me nervous. Shelly I really wish you could atleast be responsive and just give us realistic timelines and just communicate. Your work seems amazing and I would love to see if. read more

Both came out exactly how we wanted them. We had been asking friends & family about local videographers & photographers until One day I googled & stumbled upon Creative Captions website what caught my eye was this Wedding video OMG I had tears in my eyes as I watched this video they had posted. At the end of the video you were able to contact this company I hesitated because judging on the video this was gonna be way too expensive!!! I waited a few days then I said hell all I could do was ask & see what they got to offer a few days later Shelly returned my call that's when I got scared again & didn't call him back lol, I was to scared to see their prices & not be able to afford something I know I wanted for my daughters Quince. Well we finally got in touch & right away he wanted to meet up & show what he had to offer & go over prices I just wanted to know prices lol.. All I can say is his team did an amazing JOB on my daughters Video/ movie it was beyond my expectations!!!! My eyes poured & over flowed with tears of happiness the entire time I watched her video & I thought watching a couple of strangers video made me teary eyes! It touched my heart so much! They captured exactly what I wanted! We got to be ourselves, their price was in my budget, & they were very professional! If I could give 10 stars, I would! Shelly is a talented, creative, personable and authentic person . It's always so nerve racking hiring a photographer, you have no idea what the final product is going to be, if they're good at what they do, or if they're even going to show up! Well after working with him for a Boudoir shoot. I can say Shelly is a photographer who you definitely need to know! What I love best about him, is he is someone who has the Vision to capture the MOMENT not just the picture. For my shoot he and I kicked around ideas and I chose what worked best for me, he showed up on time, and even though I was very nervous, Shelly made the experience very comfortable and very enjoyable. Most people would describe well done boudoir photography as "tasteful", but that almost seems like an insult. His work is stunning, indulgent, intimate, feminine, and exquisite. My pictures were a gift for my husbands birthday, but I think I was the one who got the most out of it. Going into it I was very shy, intimidated and somewhat insecure of my flaws but after the shoot it made me feel more confident and beautiful than I have in a long time & these photos will forever remind me of those feelings! I didn't want to write a bad review on Creative Captions, but I am really disappointed on how things turned out. I got married in August 2018 and I was happy with how things came out that day with their service. We had Shelly as the photographer and 2 other people recording. It seemed like they had gotten a lot of footage in, but maybe they were too intoxicated and didn't. We received our highlight video in November. It was a very beautiful video, so I was so ecstatic to receive our raw video. We received our raw video in February and we were really disappointed with it. The video was only about 30 minutes long and there was so many parts missing. Only pieces of the church came out, and the parts that did come out were only showing from the neck down. Our first dance was not included in there as well as our entrances, mother daughter dance, bouquet toss, our parents speeches and pretty much all of the other big moments of the wedding. We paid $3,000 for the ending of our 30 minute video to be a random girl shaking her ass in front of the camera. I am really disappointed on how this all turned out, I really never thought that I would have to worry about Creative Captions work. We have been calling, texting, emailing, and even writing to them on Facebook since we received the raw video in February, and we have not received an answer. All I want is for my video to be fixed, and for the missing scenes to be added on there. I really wanted to give you guys a great review, but the lack of communication and the video we received made me give you guys this review. Maybe by posting this someone will get back to me and fix my video. If that's the case I will take this review down and give you guys a better review. read more

At First Shelly was great. He took great quality photos for our engagement session and was flexible with arranging the session. On the day of our wedding, one of his crew members BURNT my soon to be wife's WEDDING DRESS! I'm sure you can imagine how one would feel. He apologized and promised to a complimentary photoshoot. He gave us our wedding photos well after the expected deadline. We were still awaiting our wedding video and he then ghosted us. He would only answer if we called from different numbers. After waiting a long period of time, we finally received the wedding video. We asked for our raw footage of our wedding which was apart of our package and was paid for. He claimed the footage to be spotty due to the wind. We still insisted to receive the raw footage so we can see are wedding day. Then a year later we were expecting and desiring the to cash in on our offer for the complimentary photoshoot he offered for the crew member burning my wife's wedding dress. But he then became unavailable and used various excuses. Unprofessional and not integral. read more
