His food is off the chart tasty. He makes his own salad dressing. Since we were out of town (California) communication was key for us and he or is wife always got back to us in a timely manner. His attention to detail is to be noted. He works hard, very hard, to give to the best experience possible. We weee happy with our choice. I was finally able to get a hold of someone in the kitchen, and they did send some food for the rehearsal, but nothing compared to what I had paid for. I confirmed on my end that I had emailed the correct date and had the proof to show them. They told me they would work on a reimbursement for me, but it took almost 4 months, and me threatening to involve a lawyer before I ever received any reimbursement. Communication is not great with the catering side and I would never depend on them to cater my event.

While serving the fajitas they were giving guests one to two little strips of meat. I rented chairs and was told they had run out of them but they did bring what they could find. What they could find appeared to have been in someones dirty basement for over 20 years. If I had not had chair covers they would have been unusable. They asked me to let my guests serve themselves several times after I had been charged for a bartender. I had to keep pointing out that I was told I had to legally have someone in charge of the alcohol according to them, and I had paid for someone to do that. So many other smaller things occurred. The only time I cried during my entire engagement/wedding was dealing with this crew. I waited a week to write the coordinator Shirley and CC'd what appeared to be the owner on Linked In. The chopped pork order was dry. The brunswick srew had an had a vinegar taste like they added too much vinegar. The owners and workera in this La Grange Countrys BBQ need to visit the Countrys BBQ in Columbus to get retrained. I called and spoke with the owner of the La Grange Countys and explained all these issues. She quickly and politely said thank you and hung up with no offer to replace this rancid oil tasting egg rolls or anything. I spent $40.00 of hard earned money and it was not good tasting at all. My wife and I are very dissapointed and will not return. This BBQ is 1 star. A total waste of my hard earned money.
