Colin did such a great job that he is now our designated family stylist. The Fix Lounge is clean, comfortable, and cool and Colin is funny and easygoing. It's one thing for a cosmetic artist to be very skilled and talented in their work...it's another when that stylist also has a knack for teaching clients and being a source of reliable information regarding proper hair care. I left Cheryls chair not only with a fabulous haircut that flatters my face and hair type but I also know more about how to care for my mane than I ever knew before. I have done it all to my hair....it's been long it's been short, it's been all sorts of colors. Some intentional and some not lol...I thought I knew what was up but what I didn't know was that without the information Cheryl gave me yesterday - I was not able to fully gain the benefits of all of my previous hair escapades because I was not giving my hair the proper care on the home front. I was damaging my own hair with flawed brushing techniques and I was even using the incorrect brush for my hair type, she taught me how to baby step up to not washing my hair but once or twice a week to preserve the hair cuticle....I had never known correct washing needs for my type of hair... Empty promises and unreturned phone calls and emails. At this point I too am considering legal action. Update (I should have done this earlier): after several months, we finally received our photos. Since then, several other people have reached out to me to share that they have had similar experiences. The photos turned out excellent, but the post-event experience and lack of communication was dreadful.
