Five months, and still no photos. As described by another recent customer, we were married earlier this year, and still have not received anything. Empty promises and unreturned phone calls and emails. At this point I too am considering legal action. Update (I should have done this earlier): after several months, we finally received our photos. Since then, several other people have reached out to me to share that they have had similar experiences. What can I say! A simple photo inspired me to call them last year, Eric & Jeannette are the best. Super professional, superb work, a REAL pleasure to work with. They worked on fashion shows, VIP events, last minute photos of a Maharaja, editorial shoots for our magazine, polo action, and even videos. Never ever a single tiny minus. These two should have nothing but 5 stars! Where do I start without writing a dissertation (again :-))! First, they were prompt and on-time, even with all the movement they were so calm, professional and a pleasure to work with. We felt so at home and at peace with them as if we knew them all of our lives. Jeanette is a wizard with the make-up she works miracles PERIOD and gets you magazine ready! My fiance had one request and that was natural make-up only, he made sure to drive that point home. Jeanette did exactly that made me look naturally flawless and he was sooooo happy to see me when I approached him at the alter! Eric, is a photography master, we cant even believe the finished product. We are beyond pleased and could not have asked for a better team. My pictures are absolutely breathtaking and captured my pre-wedding moments so elegantly. I felt so beautiful and magazine perfect. My only issue is that they live in Hawaii and I couldn't smuggle them back to California to be my personal beauty and photography team. We were very, very, very happy and not to mention beautiful campers. So glad we chose them, one of the best investments we made for our wedding (in addition the the ceremony, that was pretty awesome as well). Eric and Jeanette from MUSE recently took photos of my fiancee and I for our wedding save the dates and invitations As soon as we met them, Eric and Jeannette put us at ease. They were warm, friendly and all their equipment perfectly organized. I immediately felt like I was in the hands of professionals, while also feeling that I was being cared for by close friends. We started the day with Jeanette doing my fiancee's makeup and hair, and discussing the multiple outfits my mother had brought for the shoot - including a variety of formal as well as traditional Indian clothes. Eric was our photographer, and discussed with my family the different poses and locations we'd be shooting at, and the best times of day we should plan to be there Then...my family caused a major issue. We forgot one of the required accessories for one of the outfits. I started to get very worried - if we couldn't be finished on time I would have to come back another day No problem - in their kindness and how much at ease I felt in their care, I almost forgot that Eric and Jeannette are professionals and have probably seen it all. They immediately reworked our schedule, Jeanette got us changed into another set of outfits and we were suddenly back on track with the new schedule. We could still take some great pictures while my father went to pick up some things from a vendor. They were concerned for our well being, but handled it calmly and in the end thanks to their problem solving it was a complete non issue. The weather also did not cooperate with us, and rained on the primary beach location we wanted to shoot at in the afternoon. Eric and Jeanette know the island and the scenic places to shoot and took us to another beach, where they took some great pictures. Finally, I should also add that while I mention how much at ease I felt with them, they still made sure we accomplished what we had come to them for: get awesome pictures, and look awesome in those pictures. We went to the studio for the second of our three photo shoots, new accessories having arrived. We had planned to then leave to go to another beach for some fun, sunset shots. At the end of the day we had TONS of opinions from me, my family and my fiancee about what to wear, should we take more indoor shots, should we try other poses....and with the sunset shot on the line, Eric gave us a a gentle nudge to make sure that we got on the road and out to the beach so we didn't miss our small window of perfect lighting. We got out of the car, walked out onto the beach and had about 15 minutes of perfect light. If my family had kept talking any longer we would have missed it - and those sunset shots are my mom's favorite pictures of all! The pictures are amazing, and the whole day was a wonderful experience that I will remember every time I look at them. Even with the problems that my family caused by forgetting things, talking too much, and the weather not cooperating - if you didn't read it here you'd never know. This wasn't a day that came out perfect because everything was easy - it came out perfect because MUSE Bride are professionals and make it perfect even with me as an imperfect client =) read more

Jeannette is such an incredibly talented and experienced hair and makeup stylist. Not to mention she is super sweet and fun to chat with about all of her experiences traveling the world and working in the fashion industry. She did my bridal hair and makeup based on some inspiration photos that I sent to her - and she really worked with my features to come up with a look that was most flattering for me. She also provided great advice about products and using extensions (I bought them for my wedding but had never used them before!) She also agreed to stay a little longer, at a very affordable price, after she finished with me so she could touch-up my bridesmaids' hair and makeup right before the ceremony. I first met Eric and Jeanette at a photo shoot where my teenage daughter was one of the models. Due to the time/location of the photo shoot and my work schedule, I had to drop off my daughter at the nearby shopping center so I can make it to work in time about an hour away. I was going to have my daughter go to the shoot from there by herself but Jeanette was so kind and sweet to offer to pick her from the shopping center....which was a big relief on my part but a bit worried at the same time because I left my child in the hands of people I haven't met yet. I knew there was nothing to be worried about but as a parent, we tend to worry about every little thing no matter what. lol I was in contact with my daughter via cell and text messages and it was such a huge relief to hear her say, "they are really nice and they're like my second family now". I finally met Eric and Jeanette a few hours later at the photo shoot and got to see for myself how nice they really are. Not only are they nice, they are very professional yet fun! I must not forget to mention the AMAZING work they both do!!!! They are an amazing team and I highly recommend them!!!!! If I ever get married again, I will definitely want Jeanette to do my hair and makeup and have Eric capture everything else!!!! We got married 5/2 with a written agreement stating we would have our pictures back by 6/2 *under contract. Eric, our photographer has dodged us for the last three months after too many excuses to count for the first two months of contact. We loved working with him the day of our wedding-he is friendly and makes you feel so incredibly comfortable--that doesn't mean much though when you pay quite a bit of money for something so important and haven't received as much as an update. We just want our pictures-and sadly I'm not sure we will see them or our financial investment back. We are pursuing legal action soon-thank goodness my husbands a lawyer. This was the most important piece of our wedding and we are devastated with how this has been handled...and if we do get them back, I'm not even sure the quality will be great after this review.
