Susan was friendly and professional. She gave me a great haircut. I will definitely return the next time.

Good luck getting in, even with an appointment you'll show up and they'll say it's an hour to an hour and a half. Also way too overpriced for 10 minute quick men's haircut. read more

I have paid top dollar for hair styles and after too many disappointments; decided to pay the minimum and see if it matters. Guess what? It doesn't. Pay what you think its worth. Supercuts is fine for me. Aloha! Save your money and just be grateful! Tee hee! read more

Supercuts - Hair Salons Near Me - Kamuela, Hawaii

Supercuts Kamuela is our family's go-to for our haircuts! Sonya is great, she's the one I call when I need a cut and style. She knows what works and what doesn't. The place looks wonderful after renovations and I just like being there~ they are friendly with a fabulous vibe! Btw, it was super easy for me to make reservations online... another plus to going there:) read more

This was a disappointment. My stylist left the island so I'm in the market for a new one. I'm still in the market. Haircut was a total of 18 minutes from walking in to walking out. And she answered the phone twice during this and booked appointments. No wash. No style. I don't even think a brush out. Just a dry haircut. If I wanted a 'super cuts ' I would have went to Kona and not blocked out an hour of my day and left work early. I'm actually just dumbfounded that she thought this was what an adult would want. But, at least I wasn't the lady sitting there with chemicals on after the timer went off. My hair is worst for the experience. read more

Don't bother. This salon will not honor online appointments made one day ahead of time, even when confirmed via email. They request you not make appointments online at all Including same day appointments and ask you to call on the day you'd like to get your hair cut. If you go that one of two things will happen: either no one will answer the phone or no appointments are available. Go elsewhere, they don't want your business. read more

Made online appointment Tuesday 1/7, show up and note in window says closed. Drove 35 miles round trip for nothing. Last time I was here they said make appointments online. Never wasting time here again. read more

Way too expensive. Hard to get out of there for less than $40. However, the staff is very efficient and friendly so if cost isn't your issue, they do a good job. read more

Super cool at supercuts! Just had a beautiful 'bob' cut and color from an incredibly hard working and motivated 20 year old local girl, Rebecca Kong Ahana. She rocks it! We talked about her hopes and dreams; she is a singer in a band, loves her job but aspires to pursue marine science. Until then; don't walk, run and ask for the lady in this picture. She's great. When this locations makes appointments and allows online check-ins, they do not honor either. They prioritize walk-ins over everyone. About 4 months ago, I made an online appointment. When I went to check in, they claimed they didn't have my info. They proceeded to make another appointment for me for an hour later. When I went back, they told me since I never confirmed, they skipped me. I was early! Yesterday, I made two appointments today for my child and me. We arrived ten minutes before our first appointment. Understandably, they are taking care of other customers who arrived before us. We wait, other customers stop and check in after we have been waiting for nearly 20 minutes. When the stylist is done stuffing what food she had left in her mouth, she overlooked me and my child completely and goes to the next appointment. I verbalized my concern. Big mistake! Don't voice your mistake. The are rude and unprofessional. Both times, they laughed at my child and me. I tried to call later to get the supervisor's name and was hung up on by the location, TWICE! The second time, before she hung up on me, I asked her if she treats all her customers like this. She, again, laughed, and said, "You are not my customer!" Of course, I am not! You refused to cut my child's hair! Who does that? Go somewhere else! read more

Really like this place! Always get a great haircut, and the hair stylists have always been wonderful. So glad they are open again! Had a haircut this morning, and the whole process from making online reservations to checking in to getting haircut was seamless and smooth. Salon is clean and sanitary. Nearly recommend this Supercuts !! read more

Staff was kind of rude. We literally sat for 10 min while they did nothing. No other hair cuts going on. We just wanted one men's cut. And it's like they were just hanging out in the back room. Overpriced. read more

Don't go to Erica for a waxing, not only did she messed up my eyebrows, but she also burned my eyelids read more

They get a 1 Star for availability. The girl (won't call her a stylist) had my back facing the mirror when she buzzed my hair. Asked for a #2. Didn't ask me to lift the elastic from my mask nor did she move it. I was in total shock when she turned me to face the mirror! Nothing against a military buzz but that's not what I asked for. My granddaughter wanted to have texture added to her bangs.......stay away. The other gal doesn't know how to "professionally" texture with straight scissors. She uses the "goody" scissors you can buy at the drug store. Oh and they don't tell you they're whacking each customer with a $3.98 "sanitation" charge on top off your haircut. Stay far, far away if you want anything more than a military buzz!!! read more

Just got an excellent cut this morning. $21 + tip. I've paid twice as much in Atlanta, Manhattan and LA and not been as happy with the results. My advice, go early, be friendly and know how you want your hair cut. read more

It all started because I was in desperate need of a haircut --- my son and I both were so we wandered into the Supercuts in Kamuela. The staff was warm and welcoming and much to our amusement assumed we lived in the area! I guess they don't get a lot of vacationers in here! I had a lot of fun talking my stylist ---- she filled me in on different parts of the island, sharing details like where people live, where the jobs are, etc. (Did you know a lot of people buy homes in Hilo and commute to Kona, Waimea and Waikoloa?). She also gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had! read more

Never again am I bringing my kids here, I asked for one simple hair cut for my son and she screwed it up.. I'm so mad! And there prices got higher read more

Worst service!! They Don't make appointments but then they say, people call in are on there waitlist first then they tell you 1/2 hour and 1 hour later your still waiting!!!! At least give an accurate time cause people have places to be!!! read more

Some of the best cosmologists in town. Never a long wait and such a warm and welcoming staff. There's always a deal going on here whether it's a discount on hair products or haircuts. The staff is very professional and never in a rush to make sure your a satisfied customer. If you need a quality hair cut I definitely recommend super cuts Waimea read more

Not a good experience. My son got a haircut, didn't like it and went back try to get it fixed up a bit. The girl was really not nice, bad service. Never gonna let her cut hair again! read more

I decided to go the cheap route. And what do I get? A hair cut that looks nothing like I want.

Katt gave me the best haircut ever at this location. It was worth the extra wait as she trained new employees and got dragged into the office in the middle of paying my bill. Mahalo nui loa, Katt. read more

I live in the area and my local hair stylist was booked. After reading the review from Mt. View (I assume California) I tried Super Cuts. I had a wash and blow dry and am very satisfied. I agree with the previous reviewer, the staff was very friendly. The service was well performed. I am very happy with the outcome. read more

I went in for a simple trim and ended up receiving one of the worst haircuts of my life. It is completely uneven and there is not much that can be done about it due to the fact that way more than I asked for was taken off. read more

I've been coming to this SuperCuts for years. I got disgusted with the long waits (despite appointments) and high prices at another salon in town. Decided to try SuperCuts and never looked back. I always get asked where I get my hair cut and/or compliments on how it looks. Kamuela SuperCuts is in a shopping center and there's plenty of parking. Wait times generally minimal (depending on day & time, of course!) read more

Been coming here for about two years, always a good haircut. Today I had Gidget cut my hair, she is a true artist! Like I said I usually get a good haircut today was GREAT. Now I will look forward to my next haircut. read more
