Sadly, their lovely and talented associate hairdresser Sue passed away in October 2012. Dana and Stella are excellent stylists who are always busy. Dana has done my hair since 2003 or 2004, when she worked at the Paul Brown Spa at the Hapuna Prince Beach Hotel. She moved to various salons in Waimea, then opened her own business here. Dana cuts my hair with precision and flair, and colors it impeccably. Her skill is equivalent to the stylists that I frequented in Union Square, San Francisco, before I moved to the Big Island. My hair style and color look great all the time. I receive compliments about my hair routinely. The salon also offers nail services. Prices here are fair, and the service is top notch! The clientele ranges from local paniolo (cowboys) to upscale resort dwellers. On occasion, a client or visitor will entertain the shop singing along to his ukulele. What could be better than waiting with your hair wrapped in foils, or having your nails groomed, while hanging out in such a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere? p.s. note that the map on yelp is completely wrong.
