Since it was my first time tinting my car in Oakley, I wanted to make sure I picked the right place, and booking an appointment with them was quick and easy. The location was also close to home, which made the process even more convenient. When I arrived, the shop was clean, neatly organized, and thoughtfully decorated. I especially liked the billboard displaying different wrap colors--it gave the place a professional and creative feel. The staff member who helped me walked me through the different tint options available. Even though I had already decided on the basic tint, which I had requested a quote for on Yelp, he continued to push some of the higher-end options. While I understand he was doing his job, it felt a bit unnecessary, and once I stuck to my choice, his enthusiasm seemed to fade. I asked a few more questions, but his responses were minimal, which left me feeling slightly brushed off. The tinting process was estimated to take most of the day, which I didn't mind, as I was planning to pick up the car before closing. However, I never received a call letting me know the car was ready, so I had to reach out to the store myself. Despite that communication issue, the actual tint work was excellent. The final result looked clean and professional, and I'm very happy with how it turned out. Overall, the quality of the tint job was great, though the customer service experience had a few areas that could be improved.

The car is a two door convertible, so no roof and only two doors to do. The ppf quote came in at $6500. It wasn't the craziest but not the best quote either. Here is the clincher, the ceramic coating quote came in at $2000!! I mean, I thought we got our wires crossed and maybe he thought I meant for a partial ppf or something. Nope, not a mistake. That was a real quote! This guy must be very, very good and applying a ceramic coating. That's to rich and ridiculous blood. Feels like he was trying to take advantage of me. Does anyone, other than someone with a $200,000+ car pay $2000 for a ceramic coating? (For reference, the material requested was for Xpel stealth and Xpel fusion satin).

Around 10am the shop was opened and I was informed that my car may not be finished due to short staffing which is 100% okay. I left and was expecting a call waiting 4 hours as I was quoted online that the car would be finished in 2-3 hours. 4pm comes around and still no call, so I tried calling a few times and was not able to get ahold of anyone. I ended up heading over a little past 5pm to check the status and the tinter confirmed that the car couldn't be finished and I would receive a text message confirming when to bring the car back to be finished. No text came and no appointment was made. Outside of the car under the windows and inside was left dirty with the solution they use. Also this is a brand new car and there was a cut in the door leather that I know for a fact was not there prior to bringing it in. Almost every window that was worked on had debris under the tint and jagged edges. Since then I've left voicemails and an email trying to resolve this as I don't feel comfortable with them finished the rest of the car. I'd rather have all the Tint removed and a refund.
