My Red 2021 Tesla Model S was delivered in December. Shortly after, I started researching ceramic coatings in order to protect that beautiful color! I drive back and forth to Sacramento weekly on the River Road and the bugs were really bugging me. I looked for a reputable shop that would do an excellent job (not a "good" job). I found recommendations on the Tesla Owners Forum, but I really didn't want to leave my car in Fremont or LA. I was looking closer to home, but couldn't find a shop with excellent reviews until I gave up on the Tesla Forum and just Googled it. I called a couple of places, trying to get an idea of services and costs and durability, but for the most part I got a product name and a price, and everyone has mixed reviews, so who do I trust? Well, I think he had one 1 Star, but it was so obviously a hatchet job from someone trying to hurt him, I figured it must be from an unscrupulous competitor. He explained each of his coatings and was actually interested in what I wanted over what he wanted to sell me! How refreshing! He took the time to school me on the coatings and the warranties and all the important stuff. I had to wait 2 months for my appointment, but that was ok...I was confident that I found "The Guy"! I dropped my car off on July 6th and I picked it up yesterday, July14th. I was driving my 2015 Black Land Rover home after just having my car detailed by the dealer last year, when a 5 gallon bucket of white paint had fallen off of a truck and hit my car. This is probably going to get long, so if you don't have the time to read it, I will sum it up in one line first: From my experience and opinion you can't go wrong with Immaculate Reflections if you remotely care about how your car looks and the image it presents. Now, if you're still reading I will write about my experiences with Immaculate Reflections below: First I would like to admit that I am extremely picky about how my vehicles look. I used to spend many hours washing my vehicles, particularly my "fun" cars that I would wash just about every time I drove them. That is until I met Jeff at Immaculate Reflections in 2013. I had just placed an order a brand new Corvette Stingray and wanted to look into getting it detailed when it arrived from the factory. Jeff showed me how good ceramic coating was, and how much time it would save on normal washes and I was immediately hooked. Now I could go out just about sunset and wash one of the cars and be done well before it was dark, and that's with me double and triple checking everything! Now, as for the shop... I do not really know how to express my happiness over the years without sounding like a shill, but believe me I am not. I have paid the full and quite fair price to have each of the 8 vehicles I have taken to Jeff get paint correction and coatings applied since 2014. I have referred a few people as well and they have the same feelings: WOW! I'm the kind of guy that will obsess over his car and worry about leaving it at the store in a parking lot, let alone a dealership for a day or two. I have never once had any concerns leaving my vehicles with Immaculate Reflections, no matter the cost of the vehicle. From a $50k Jeep to a $150k Porsche, I don't even think twice about handing over the keys to Jeff and driving away. I hope you can understand the gravity of that comment. Immaculate reflections is the first call I make when I'm planning to buy a new vehicle so that I can get on the schedule for correction and coating. Jeff takes care to do everything the right way, which is how I do things as well. He has the specialty tools to work on my Porsche with centerlock wheels and knows the specific procedures for them. He has clients with much more expensive vehicles than mine and takes extreme care and patience when working on any car, be it a new Hyundai, or an exotic that costs north of $600k. Over the last 8 vehicles in just less than 5 years I have had ZERO issues and each one came out looking AMAZING. Don't skip out on getting your wheels and brake calipers coated as well if you want to make cleaning your wheels a breeze. Last year I ordered a new 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JL and when it arrived I traded in my 2015 Rubicon Hard Rock. The dealer that I worked with actually paid me $1500 over what I expected on a trade because they said, and I quote "Your Wrangler looks better than any new one we have on the lot. We don't even have to wash it before putting it up for sale!" Not too bad for a 3 year old Jeep that wasn't always washed, but had the protection of the CQuartz coating. Most recently, on my 911 GTS Jeff also removed the factory paint protection film that is very thick and unsightly from the rear panels in front of the rear tires. He replaced it with his film that provides more coverage with better protection and is thinner and less visible. The best part of getting my vehicles coated with CQuartz? Never having to spend hours per month applying a wax like Zaino, etc. again. Long overdue review (6 months) Jeff is truly a craftsman and an expert in auto detailing. He's very honest and had excellent communication throughout the whole process. He's not there to upsell you - he will ask you questions based on your driving style and needs and then suggest what you should get. I ended up getting his standard paint protection film (PPF) coverage + ceramic coating. It's given me the confidence of having protection from rocks and other debris all while making my car's color pop out more. The cut lines from the PPF are unnoticeable unless you're inches away and the paint was flawless after the ceramic application. Jeff mentioned that in one of the Facebook groups he's in, that other detailers and PPF installers mentioned they had trouble with some of the curves on my car model. He was able to chat and learn with these detailers on how to best tackle the curves. Shows me that he's actively looking to learn the best methods and being able to keep up with the times. After everything was done, Jeff walked me through on how to maintain the ceramic coating and to be weary at any place that works on your car. After 6 months of daily driving, my car's paint is still immaculate and cleaning + maintaining the coating has been a breeze. With today's water based clear coat, water spots and etching is more common than not. This is further induced with body shop re-sprays as their clear is even softer. Unfortunately, I had my driver's door repainted on my 2018 GMC Sierra and was gifted with a plethora of water spots. Gone are the days of a cut and polish to remove the spots, as they can actually return when the panel is heated and cooled from day to day driving and weather. One way to assure that the spots have a greater chance of not returning and to also remove the minimal amount of clear is to heat and cool the panel several times and see if the spots return. Jeff did this to my door and was able to remove the unsightly water spots. While I was there I also got my hood with factory paint wrapped in clear PPF to protect the large flat panel from more water spots. I contacted Jeff a few weeks ago to get a quote for a 1-step correction and headlight restoration on my mom's 2004 Lexus ES330. At the same time, i wanted to take care of my dad's 2007 Toyota Matrix and my own 2011 Lexus IS350 with minor details. We got an appointment set up quickly and it fit all our schedules perfectly. So yesterday Jeff came out and spent the whole day on my moms ES330 and the results were, for lack of better works, breathtaking. I'm no pro but having done some research this allows for dirt to get caught on the edge and be highly visible as time goes by. When I brought it up, he became condescending and made personal attack marks on my vehicle, bringing up blemishes accumulated from the road that he didn't bring up before when I asked what can be improved cosmetically. By far the best part of the Tesla buying experience so far. After very disappointing customer service from Tesla in the time between ordering and delivery, working with Jeff has been a breath of fresh air. He is super friendly, honest, and accommodating. Even though his wife was due to deliver their third child, he worked with us to accommodate our unique circumstances. The quality of the job was excellent, got a full PPF wrap and ceramic coating on my Model X. It's amazing how easy it is to clean. Jeff explained all the details about how the film works and how to care for it. He answered all our questions. Price was slightly higher than other detailers but talking to Jeff on the phone about my usage and needs, it was clear Jeff was going to deliver quality results. The only drawback is the shop is sort of tedious to get to, especially if you're coming from down south. There's no easy freeway access. At least as far as I know. I thought that it being a new car, it looked perfect, but Jeff noticed all of the water stains on all of the glass and polished them all out.
