NO STARS * IS TOO HIGH A VOTE, BUT THERE WASN'T THIS OPTION, I HAD TO CLICK OR I WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO POST MY OPINIONSO THATS HOW IT GOT THE UNDESERVED 1 STAR RATINGAbsolutely awfulIf you want your clothes ruined, this is the place to take your washing.
SO SORRY I EVER SET FOOT IN THIS PLACE
The service guy said I wouldnt have enough time to wash and dry my 4 bags of washing as he had to close earlyHe offered to do a service wash and deliver my washing back to my home later in the eveningI thought this sounded great, so I agreedI was to pay the £24 for the service on delivery.
Later when I was out shopping my son phoned me to say the washing had been delivered at my home, but the guy didnt ask for any payment, just dropped off the washing and left..I thought this was strange but thought I would go into his shop next day and pay him.
When I arrived home I nearly collapsed when I took the washing out of the bagswhich had been just stuffed in, crushed and rolled, not one item was folded. Many new and almost new items were absolutely ruined, burned and singed Soft fluffy housecoats were curled up and crispy,a new white M&S bathrobe was burned until it turned brown soft fleece jackets are like cardboard
When I eventually tracked him down, as the other staff members said I should speak to him personally, he said he did not notice any damage to the clothes when he stuffed everything into the laundry bags and delivered them at my home( Now I know why he didnt ask for payment for the service wash ) He assured me he did have insurance cover, but wouldnt show me his insurance document, then told me, firstly, I must show him receipts for all garments, he will only reimburse me 1/3 of what I payed for each itemTo date I havent received a penny compensationalthough this happened months ago I took the damaged items into another ( qualified to serve the public) laundry were the woman took one look at my damaged clothes and said the guy in Crease Laundry obviously dumped the whole 4 bags of laundry into one drier on the HIGHEST setting, and left it until things got ruinedwhich she said these materials should never have been put on the high setting in the first place
