In addition to a clean facility and helpful staff, this laundromat has a tiny coffee shop just inside the entrance! One barista (and packaged treats, nothing freshly baked) who can whip up something caffeinated to enjoy, while watching your clothes dry...

It was the closest to Adelaide's guesthouse on Bath Street, just 5 minutes away, and across from a nice green children's playground. There were 6 front loading washers, 3 different sizes (costing £6, 8, 10). Everything was clean, and the machines looked new, though the premises were a little rundown. 6 dryers, costing 20p, but you really need at least £1-2 to dry a small load, 15 minutes for each £1. Old coins only for the dryers, not the new coins. I didn't see a change machine or laundry soap dispenser, and nobody was there when I got there, on a Sunday morning at 8am, but the door was open, so I checked at the liquor store a few shops down, and the owner cheerfully gave me change for my £20 note, and walked me over to see if I understood the machines.

They were very nice and accommodating. You can either wash yourself or let them do it for you. It is the same price either way.

Very helpful and kind . Close at 4pm, though, not 6pm. Wash, dry and fold are $22 per load.

Wonderful service. Clean and prompt! £15.00 for a humungous bag for washing/drying. Worth every pence.

I popped in and was shown to the large machine in the very back. No coins needed, he operated the machine for me and told me to come back in 50 minutes, since I was going to take it home to dry. I came back and he had popped my duvet in the dryer for a few minutes, so it wouldn't be so heavy for me to carry home! It was £7.00 for the wash, plus 50p for detergent and fabric softener. Next time I'll bring my own detergent, as theirs is heavily scented. I thought it was so nice to give it a head-start on drying in their machines. After I paid, he rolled the duvet up and put it in a plastic bag for me to carry home. I'm so pleased with this new place and the great service. There's no sign on the door, but I found the company name on some flyers inside. FYI: He quoted me £3 for the dryers.

It can easily absorb a full baths worth of water, and took 4 days to dry when I last attempted to wash it at home... Popped it in here a few months ago, and they returned a big bag of fluffy loveliness the next day. It looked like new, and at £20 including detergent and drying was great value for money compared to quotes from other local laundries.

On a particularly productive day, I decided to pop round to the local laundrette to offload some of my laundry and get a load done in one go. It was all a bit of an adventure, as I entered this weird world of washing machines that looked as if it had looked the same for the past twenty years. I did like the big industrial sized machines that allowed me to bundle in all of my bedding and towels that would have taken several cycles in my wimpy wee machine. A hassle free trip that allowed me to get a big load of washing done all in one go, all washed and dried in no time at all. I have a new love for laundry.
