Luxury Launderette Service has plenty of washing machines
and dryers but also has plenty of rude and unwelcoming staff. I have never been
in a business where it seems that you are genuinely putting them out if you want to use their
services. More often than not you have wait longer than required despite there
being no one else in the shop and no apparent reason for the delay. When you
are eventually served, if you're lucky, they might know where your clothes are.
If not, then you are in for another wait, the suspense is sometimes too much to
bear. If you are planning to use the dryers or washing machines then I'd ignore
their opening times as if you go near the place with an hour until shutting
time then you will be greeted with an annoyed look and an interrogation on
how long you will take. Even if you tell them you are only going to be
20-30mins they will still proceed to harp on about how they have to let the machines
and dryers cool down before they close, it is like a broken record. Suggestion
to LLS if the machines and dryers need to cool down then shut the shop at
18:30pm instead of 19:00 and give your
customers ears a break, or is it possibly that the staff just want to get away
early? Either way, get it sorted; if the shop is open until 19:00 then
it should be open for business until such time. After all the pantomime they
sometimes smile at you for your custom/putting them out, although I'm not sure
if they are just showing you their teeth, it's hard to tell.
With regard to the actual cleaning, drying,
ironing, dry cleaning etc etc. The service could not be described as luxury but
mediocre at best. The dryers and washing machines do their job. Ironing and dry
cleaning service is average but would not use them for an expensive piece of
clothing such as a designer suit etc. A few customer service courses
wouldn't go a miss, especially for the big guy. read more
