Oh My! This place is a SCAM! Stay away if you can. Can I give it ZERO STARS? My husband wanted to try this place so we went and quite honestly I did too as the idea behind it is pretty cool. We decided to stop by last night (Sunday) around 8pm and we were so excited to finally make it in. Walking up, the line was literally outside the door. There was people everywhere. We did see a lot of people get out of line and leave since it was a little hectic inside. The concept is easy. You stand in line right beside the glass which lets you see the employees make the ice cream. Cold air does get out which is pretty cool because you can feel how cold the air is. There was only one employee taking orders at the register so it did take some time for us to finally get to ordering. The inside is quite small and loud with everyone talking. While standing in line you are standing pretty close to the customers that are already sitting down at the tables. Not only that, but then you also have people walking back in forth in that little space (between the line and the tables) trying to get to the font of the building to where you pick up your dessert. There is plenty of seating and they also had a few tables right outside the door. We ended up sitting down at the table right in front of the fridge. Our table had dried up ice cream all over it and it was very sticky. There was plenty of employees right behind the counter working but it seemed like no one had cleaned up the lobby area. The experience is cool and the machines are very futuristic looking. The high chairs are adorable! The cashier was very friendly! We will be back as the ice cream was good. Not a huge selection and they were out of EVERYTHING my husband and I wanted so we just sat and watched our 9 year old eat. At least she was happy right? I liked it, I got my surgery overdoes for the week. Be prepared to spend about $11 a person after tip if you want the "Large" 14-16 ounce treat... Took my son here tonight at 9pm. They close at 10pm. They put all the chairs on the tables so you could not sit down inside to eat. I asked an employee if the only option was to take it to go because you are putting all thw chairs up. His response was "oh its just part of our pre-closing process". I said , you don't close for another hour. He repeated himself. So I asked again, sooo, we have to take it to go? He got visibly annoyed and said "I can put some chairs down". Then started slamming the metal chairs on the floor. We turned to him and said "we're just going to pass", and left. The process started off intriguing. I picked cream with vanilla and hot fudge. We were excited to see the process, but was disappointed because it all happens in a metal bowl and you don't ever see it go from liquid to solid. Maybe if they had shown us the cream and vanilla combined and then poured into the bowl to freeze it would have been better, but they didn't do that. All we saw was some cold mist coming from a metal mixer and then they took it away and handed us some ice cream. The girl doing the mixing had earbuds in, acted like we weren't there, and had a frown on the whole time. You could tell she wanted to be anywhere but there. I wish I had taken a picture, because the ice cream we got at the end had the smallest drizzle of hot fudge on it that I've ever seen. No exaggeration, pencil thin lines drizzled on top and nothing in the middle or down the sides. I literally could not even taste it. It maybe had, again no exaggeration, a half a tablespoon worth drizzled thinly on top. So, I basically just had a cup of vanilla ice cream. The ice cream itself was extremely creamy and smooth. It tasted okay, but honestly Blue Bell vanilla ice cream tastes better, though not nearly as creamy. If you like super creamy ice cream then maybe try it. I regret not calling them out on the extremely skimpy topping. It was late, maybe 30-45 minutes before close, and my guess was they were pretty much out of hot fudge and couldn't be bothered to heat up some more. They also refused to make a waffle cone for me, again... guessing they had already cleaned the iron and didn't want to dirty it again. Back home at the MN state fair there's a nitro ice cream hot spot that makes the creamiest most delicious ice cream that I've ever tasted. Wanted to try this place as they also use nitrogen to freeze their cream-- equally creamy!! But just not the same. Ice cream was delicious, don't get me wrong! But it could've used a little bit more time being frozen as it melted waaay too quickly. It was my first time there, so I decided to go with Fruity Pebbles, which was so good. It was really creamy, and I loved the chunks of the Fruity Pebbles mixed in. I think a regular size would be plenty for two people. I wish they had board games so that customers could play them while eating, but I still enjoyed the ice cream. The workers both went into the back and then came back out and said they can no longer take any order because their "system shuts down at 9:50". If this was the case, they would have told us that as soon as we walked in, not after they had a pow wow in the back to make up a lie about how their system shuts down at 9:50. I'm so excited that they finally opened a location in the East Valley! My husband and I came to check it out on a Monday so it wasn't so busy and the wait wasn't very long at all. They have so many options to choose from. I ordered the Taro flavor ice cream and topped it off with some cookie dough and cheesecake. Their concept is very interesting and I see why they're Creamistry because the ice cream is not your typical ice cream. It is in fact very creamy and delicious. First time here during the week and it sucked. All the add ins were not mixed in in any of our 6 orders. Everything was put on top. When asked why it wasn't mixed in apparently this is something g you need to request which we have never done. Sounds more like laziness. Make a few batches of the same base and throw the mix ins on top and only having to clean one or two bowels. The brownies were borderline rocks and went into the trash. Kids barely touched theirs and for $70 it was a total utter waste. Three punches on the punch card for us got us 10 total punches which should equate to a free one but instead she added new punches onto a second card and said we weren't quite there. Never will go back. Save your time and money because this place has gone way down hill. With so much competition, anything else is better than here. read more
