We really enjoyed our stay at this campground. The sites are well spaced for privacy and beauty. Our host was super helpful and friendly!

My kind of park. Good to maneuver with my tow vehicle. Quiet. Full hookups. Pretty views. Clean…read morenice restrooms with nice laundry area. Even had handicap ramp.! Owner personable and available if needed. Dog friendly.

This is as low budget as it gets. No office, no trees. Just a small site with no table or space…read more Most all the sites are not level and have 1/4" of 3/4" gravel which is too big and not enough. Why have 3/4" rocks. How am I to level in big rocks?! The sites are not level, not even close. The entire park is on a slope and it looks like the level wasn't working when they made these sites. My shower door won't close and the shower won't drain because we're leaned to the left so far. The water spigot is too low. I could barely get a valve attached and I had to dig. The electric box is too short so I had to bend my surge protector. Who did this stuff? Update 20 minutes after posting this truthful review, I was evicted from the park. Man who kicked us out, gave us no reason. When I asked if it was because of my Yelp review, he replied yes and to get the hell out of his part. He could not defend the fact that is sites were unlevel , had that will destroy your leveling equipment, a water Spicket that's so low to the ground. I had to dig to connect my pressure regulator, and electrical boxes were too short. Not to mention that the entire part is on a hill and not level. Stay away from this place.

Review Visit: July 25th, 2015…read more If you have seen Close Encounters of the Third Kind, then you are very familiar with Devils Tower. This was about the final stop on a 2 week cross country trip and I am happy it was one of the last. We didn't get to get close, as we were tight on time, but still seeing it was awesome. I didn't know too much about it besides what we talked about in Geography classes in college, but I knew some of the legends and the uniqueness of the tower. It appears that there are trails around the tower you can hike. You can also climb the tower too, which is weird, since I thought it was all protected grounds by Native Americans. Maybe it's a limited window each year. Either way, if you can indeed get close, I would love to go back. I love odd, natural landmarks like this and would love to explore it up close. Wish I knew more to tell you all but maybe one day I can expand upon this post! Devils Tower is quite the landmark. It stands out when compared to everything else around it. Geologists still debate on how it is formed. Native Americans have a few folklore on how it was formed too. If you are interested in either of those, check the Website/Wiki links below.

The Devils Tower National Monument was the 1st national monument, established by President Theodore…read moreRoosevelt in 1906. The monument's boundary is area of 1,347 acres. It's also known as Mato Tipila or Bear Lodge. It is a butte, laccolithic, composed of igneous rock in the Bear Lodge Ranger District of the Black Hills, Wyoming. It is 1,267 ft above the Belle Fourche River, standing 867 ft from the summit to base. Native American people, believe that a group of girls went out to play & were spotted by several giant bears, who began to chase them. To escape the bears, the girls climbed atop a rock, fell to their knees, praying to the Great Spirit to save them. Hearing their prayers, the rock rose from the ground towards the heavens so that the bears could not reach the girls. The bears, left deep claw marks in the sides, which had become too steep to climb. Those are the marks which appear today on the sides of Devils Tower. When the girls reached the sky, they were turned into stars.

We stayed in the RV portion of this inn. The RV spaces were pretty tight with not much room to move…read morearound. Our RV was only a few feet from other RVs on either side (we could basically see inside to our next door neighbors with ease). The people that run the place are very nice and friendly. They also do have basic cable for the campsites which is rare to find. However, internet means more to me and their wifi was quite slow. I ended up putting my phone back to 4G because that was faster than their internet. Biggest part that freaked me out was the multiple signs around the women's bathroom saying that police will be called if men enter (they were handwritten so I assume this was a problem prior to the signs being hung up). I took a very fast shower and tried to get out as fast as I could! Water and electric worked just fine otherwise.

I have stayed here in the past without any issues. This last stay was a very poor experience. Sink wouldn't drain and had a pungent odor. Found mold in coffee pot and dried up banana was under my bed. Plan wasn't to stay there during day, just somewhere to rest at night. When we left we made sure to pick up all the trash and bag it up setting outside the door. Picked and the room and ensured dirty towels were piled up in bathroom to help with easy clean up. Please note, no one came to clean our room not once during our stay!!! When I got my bill and headed home. Lady charged me several days later a 250$ cleaning charge!! For what, no explanation. Like I said hunting during the day so only sleeping there at night. Picked up before we left. For what I paid for the room and the extra unnecessary charge I would have been better off somewhere else. Won't stay here again. Beware as they will charge for items that you didn't not dirty or damage. Lady won't answer my calls to question the 250$ cleaning charge. Just hangs up.
