After starting to work with the Bursch Travel in Rapid City only to find out they needed $200 before researching more than three things I decided to call Bursch Travel in Gillette. Let me just say for starters that Lorna is amazing! She was so patient and looked up so many things, all without requesting money before she could research anything else. She found us a fishing company that we trust and have set up all our adventures through. Lorna however gave us a great deal on flight, airfare, transfers, travel insurance, and my husband and I couldn't have been happier. She knew what she was doing, we are so excited to take our trip this fall, and we feel confident Lorna will help us every step of the way. Thanks Lorna! read more

Established in 1956.

M.W. "Pete" and Audrey Bursch purchased the "Bus Depot Café" in Alexandria in 1956, serving travelers by selling Greyhound Bus tickets and eventually, airline and steamship tickets and vacation planning. As a result of consistently providing customers with reliable travel information and service, the travel agency outgrew the restaurant and bus depot business. Fred Bursch took over company operations in 1977 and purchased the business in 1986. Guided by the company mission to offer unsurpassed service to travelers, Bursch Travel continued to grow. Today, Bursch Travel has 18 branch offices and 2 satellite offices in Greater Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming and Nebraska. Bursch Travel has developed into the largest privately owned travel company between the Twin Cities and Seattle.

Our stay here wasn't the best nor the worst one, but we were just passing through and needed a spot…read morewith electricity for a night. No frills here, maintenance is needed through out. Holes in the roads, cracked and uneven concrete on the site, bird poop on the tables that appear to have been collecting for weeks. The staff was about as pleasant as a tooth ache and acted like you bothered them by showing up. Also, it's cash only. Hmmmm. To be quite honest I've had better boondocking experiences.
