10 Tacos - clockwise from bottom left: chicken, al pastor, birria, and fish
Vanessa A.

3.5 stars since I'm struggling to land on exactly 3 or 4 stars. Some things were great, others not so much. Either way I'd go back for more! Helped reading other reviews to learn about the 10 taco tray you can order from their catering menu. This is definitely the best deal! Not sure the current cost is accurate on their website though (again based on another review and our total bill). You can mix and match the 10 tacos which you can't due when ordering individually. You also get rice, beans and guacamole. If you order individually you have to get 3 of the same taco (never my preference) and pay extra for the rice and beans. I tried the fish, birria, al pastor and chicken. All were good! I really like the sauce they put on the fish taco; it's a bit spicy. My mom thought the chicken was dry. I didn't think it was too bad when I tried it the next day. I thought it at least had a nice flavor to it. The al pastor was my favorite! I find pork tends to be too fatty and/or dry but that was not the case here. It was flavorful and so crispy! We really liked the rice and beans. What I wasn't crazy about were the nachos. Considering you're a take out only place your nachos should travel well. They were already soggy by the time we got home. As much as they have potential I would never order them again. The horchata was okay. Needed some more flavor, possibly more cinnamon. Parking is challenging. It would've helped having two people to pick up the order so one could jump out for the food while someone else stayed in the car.

Beef tongue tacos !! So good!!

Tacos are probably one of the best in this area. The beef tongue ( Lengua) Tacos are especially amazing! I can eat this all day everyday. I must say the customer service is a bit cold, the guy who took my order gave me a bit attitude when I asked if I could pick three tacos for $10.99 must be same kind of tacos or can I mix and match. He answered my question very impatiently and it is a bit awkward. Be aware if yiu planned to eat here - They don't have indoor seating, and there is only one table outside.

Came here after a bad experience at Mr. falafel, what a difference in restaurants and staff. Crazy tacos has a fantastic rotation of cashiers that give you attention and inform you of your options. I ordered 10 tacos with three different kinds of meat. And they brought it out in less than 10 minutes with fluffy seasoned rice, delicious black beans, fresh cut lime and vegetables, and who can forget the magic that is birria. I've had a lot of Birria and so many are terrible, but HERE?? ITS AMAZING. I wanted to drink it from the bowl. Can't believe they cranked out a tray like this in 7 minutes. I won't expect this speed all the time like when they're busy, but it's impressive nonetheless. Also super helpful and considerate staff, they brought the tray outside and they gave us utensils and napkins. Not once were we being hassled, and believe me that's rare these days. Kudos to the team! You rock.

This place is awesome. It is a take out spot (no indoor seating at all) I always get the 10 taco catering option which is a great bang for your buck. You get 10 tacos (you can mix and match the protein, chicken/steak/fish/shrimp/al pastor), a side of rice, black beans, vegetables and a delicious green sauce. The price was originally $25 but it is $29.99 but it is still very worth it. The staff is always very nice and the presentation of the meal is great.

This taco place on Cliffside Park and good value and good tacos. There are packages of 25 tacos that are good, come with sides, provide plenty of food and don't break the bank. Pros - lots of food - affordable - good value - convenient - quick - good flavor - good vibes and outside seating in the summer - they are generous with packaging and the amount of veggies they put in. All a plus in my book. Cons - no parking. The street is busy and full of cars. Need to park in nearby parking lot even for pickup. There is no where to stand and they aren't too eager to bring food outside for you. - they put spicy peppers (way to spicy for my blood) in some of the tacos. When I ask to remove them, it's a hit or miss if it will be done. Sometimes things are forgotten when I get my order (like consume for barria tacos)- always check everything is there - tacos can be a bit dry

Birria Tacos with consome

This was the best birria I've ever had in my life. No exaggeration. I wanted to try a new Mexican restaurant and I had considered trying another local place but it looked more like an IG trap than an authentic restaurant. I'm glad that I went with my better judgment and ordered from Crazy tacos. The birria tacos came with three tacos and a side of consomé. Each taco was generously stuffed with tender birria. From the first bite I was sold. It was so so flavorful. Reminded me of my mom's cooking (we're not Mexican but on par, flavor-wise). There were the best tacos I've had (maybe even including ones I had in Mexico). My fiancé had the birria flautas. The order came with three flautas and a side of rice and beans. The flautas were crispy and topped with cotija cheese. He was in heaven! We're definitely going to be regulars here from now on. In total, our orders were a little over $20. So worth it!

Birria tacos, quesadilla, nachos and flautas

First time checking it out. We went w the birria tacos (A+) good size and portion of meat. Consume was done proper, packed w flavor. Also got chicken quesadilla (B+) & shrimp flautas (B). Both were season well and tasty. They also come w sides of rice and beans. Ordering again I would drop the flautas and do another shrimp quesadilla. While good, they were a little to crunchy for my tastes and broke when bitten like a hard shell taco. Lastly we had nachos w beef. (B-). While tasty and they used homemade chips, they could of been a bit more generous w the toppings. Also, not their fault but I picked beef for the kids thinking it would be ground beef as steak was also an option but I got minced steak as the protein which meant I was also eating the nachos. Overall everything was quality and the crew was super friendly at the spot. I will def be back. Thank goodness it's 25 min from me or id prob be there 3x a week.

How crazy can you go?!?! You will go TACO CRAZY here!!! What a home-run of a taco spot that is hidden off the main street, and it suites their name! Crazy Tacos for sure, and here's why... This spot is takeout only and located in the heart of town, off the main street it is a goldmine. What sucks is trying to find a parking spot to make your pickup... yeah, that's a huge problem. But, where there is a will there is a way for great tacos. They have authentic ingredients and great cooks here. You can see them working hard in the open kitchen and when you take a bite of your meal you will taste the flavors. Their menu has it all... from burritos, nachos to tacos of all kinds. Their meat selection has it all and when you see the Al Pastor skewer cooking you will smack your cheeks like the kid in Home Alone! My first order here was: --Al Pastor nachos... wowww- tough and crispy yellow corn chip held all those flavors very well. --Birria Tacos with consome... loveeeeed dipping the taco in the consome, and they add fresh lime slices, radishes and whole grilled scallion... OMG! --Homemade juice drink... they have several fresh flavors and quite tasty. Second order: I went HARD... 10 taco order! Best part is not the price- which is a SICK deal, but that you can mix all 10 tacos!!! Therefore, I had to try a variety... even the shrimp was amazing. Wait, there's more... they also give you a side of guacamole, Spanish rice, black beans, and homemade hot sauce. How much do you say all that costs.... UNDER $30!!!!!!!!! Enough said... get here, like- TODAY Junior!

Came here on a Sunday late afternoon. I have been wanting to try this spot for some time and since I was in the area, gave it a try. There was no line so I was able to place my order right away. The place is bright and you can see your food being made from the counter. Ordered the Al pastor tacos, beef burrito and brisket quesadilla. They were all great, tasty and packed with a lot of protein. I highly recommend the quesadilla, it comes in three folded tacos filled with cheese and protein (pics for reference) and includes rice and beans. Found my go to taco spot when I'm in the area :) If you're in the mood for tacos or want a filling quick bite, this is the spot. * Friendly and great service * Takeout spot but you can eat outside on the bench. Eat tacos fresh and eat on the bench, is my recommendation. * Street parking

If delicious tacos is what you are looking for, this place won't disappoint! I discovered this place on Uber Eats, and it's one of the best in the area. I love their fish tacos! Even delivered, they still have good texture and is full of flavor. Their shrimp, brisket and Al pastor tacos are also a family favorite. If you can have them as soon as they are delivered, they tend to still be warm and hold up well. Their prices are very affordable and the few times where I pick up and interacted with the staff, they've always been very friendly and accommodating.

I didn't realize this was just a takeout and delivery hangout, but that makes. Tacos don't take long to eat and when a place makes good tacos, the setup shouldn't stop you from getting them. Firstly, I just want to say I was pleasantly by surprised by the affordability of this place. $11 for 3 tacos is a bargain when you're not in Mexico. A dish like this would have easily been $15 at Los Tacos in NYC or any NY joint, which is overrated and overpriced imo. Here, you can get tacos AND a drink and still have it come out to $15. Secondly, I can't believe how many limes they threw in my order. These were fresh limes too and they did not skimp out. The salsa that comes with the tacos was zesty and perfect too if you're looking for some heat in your bite. Crazy Tacos you were crazy good indeed. I'll come back!

I found it odd that the restaurant was located on 94th Street, given its name, but that was irrelevant. Its reviews were excellent, and the food looked great in the Yelp photos, so we decided to give it a shot. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Burrito Bowl, which was supposed to be served in a fried flour tortilla that had been shaped into a bowl, but I, instead, opted for the ingredients to be placed in a container without the crispy vehicle. The platter included diced chicken, orange Mexican rice, black beans, lettuce, corn, pico de gallo, and guacamole. The chicken was well-seasoned and tender, the rice was fluffy, and the beans were very flavorful. The rest of the ingredients were fresh, and everything blended well together. I was allowed to select one of four sauces, though there were no descriptions to help distinguish their differences. I just selected the Red Smoky Salsa, which turned out to have a medium heat level and added notes of chipotle; I thought it was perfect. I had also asked for no queso fresco, and the crema on the side, though I wound up not using it. Overall, I was very impressed with my dish, and my friend enjoyed her Skirt Steak Burrito as well. Taqueria 86 delivered (pun intended) on flavor and quality. Next time I hope to visit the restaurant in-person to enjoy their cocktails and what looks like a fun atmosphere.

Noise levels were on the lower end, and service was kick. Food arrived within 15-mins of ordering. Highly recommend this place for their tacos!

Had never heard of an Alambre before so was interested to try. First, the tacos were basically Al Pastor meat in what seemed like packaged tortillas, surprisingly without any cheese or sour cream - which I expected to be in the tacos since the order option specified only "Item removal" for those ingredients, not a separate option to include them. Plus, I specified red sauce, but received some green sauce. Second, Taqueria y Fonda La Mexicana's Alambre was supposed to contained the chosen meat, bacon, salad, guacamole, onions, cheese and green peppers over a fresh homemade tortilla. It arrived with extra tortilla chips and assorted grilled meats with chewy, rubbery bacon. I'd describe this Alambre like a fajita without the meat sizzling. Again, the 3 underlying tortillas seemed like identically packaged ones. At best, this dish was unspectacular. Given my experience and other Mexican restaurants nearby, my order from Taqueria y Fondo La Mexicana was not worth the money and I'm not ordering again from there.

Little did we know that it was business on the main floor and a party on the bottom! We ended up skipping the coffee and just had food. This is a Mexican spot with some Colombian themed dishes on the brunch/lunch menu. The breakfast burrito was recommended by our server (as a popular dish) as well as the huevos rancheros. I love biscuits so was swayed in a different direction... an egg and cheese sandwich on a house made jalapeño biscuit. The biscuit sandwich was filling, although a bit too dry for my taste. The addition of the jalapeño did give the biscuit a good kick. The potatoes were nicely seasoned. My friend gushed about her huevos rancheros. It did look good, and I would likely skip the biscuit sandwich and go for the huevos rancheros or tacos next time. The service was super sweet and attentive. We truly didn't realize there was another floor until we finished our meal in the enclosed heated space up front, and the server encouraged us to check it out. It's a cool set up with a distinct feel from the main floor. All in all I would check this place out again.

I asked the waiter if we can mix flavors for margaritas and he said yes so I got a "Lava Flow" with Strawberry, Pineapple, and Coconut mix - so good! I also got 3 tacos: Oxtail Birria, Bang Bang Shrimp, and Grilled Steak. All were fantastic but the oxtail stood out to me in flavor. We also shared chips & salsa, which came with red and green salsa.
