One star for the veggie burrito. I was absolutely heartbroken eating my vegetarian super burrito. My husband's carne asada burrito wasn't very good either. We had high expectations with all their reviews. Major let down. The veggie burrito was just a bag of frozen steamed veggies in a burrito along with rice and whatever. No seasonings. They used a very small amount of refried beans (I think?) I wish they would use zucchini or squash, maybe some mushrooms, corn since they've got a ton of that, add the spices that make the elote yummy. Use black beans or whole beans to add more substance to it. read more

The horchata was delicious, and the mangonada was incredibly refreshing. But the highlight of the meal was the Tostiesquilote at just $12--absolutely unforgettable! I wouldn't have found this place just as a drive by on my own. It sits back at an angle from TV highway. The service was friendly and fast, seems to be a family business. Prices were very reasonable. The birria had the best flavor I've had to date. The corn was yummy. Shrimp taco had a bit of spicy kick to them. More items on the menu we'd love to try. This was my second time here. I had a supreme asada burrito. They're huge (plenty for two people to share.) The ingredients are fresh and flavorful. It came with salsa verde, which also tasted fresh and mildly spicy. The restaurant itself it small, but nicely decorated and spotless. The staff is really friendly. Wow!! What a great find! I stopped by while I was in Hillsboro few days ago after seeing the great reviews, and I'm so glad I did. The food was incredibly fresh and full of flavor! I ordered the carne asada and al pastor tacos, along with a horchata, and everything was on point. You can really tell they use high quality cooking oil because the food wasn't greasy at all, which sets them apart from a lot of other places. The restaurant is clean, the staff is super friendly, and the whole experience was just great. I'll definitely be coming back soon to try more from the menu! read more

Picked this place from the reviews and it did not disappoint. It was hard to choose, but was recommended the birria tacos from a customer that was waiting for her order and I'm very happy I did. Loved the depth of flavor and tender meat. My teenage son raved about the taco that I saved for him, because I was already full from the first two tacos and the street corn. Fresh corn, great spices, added some hot sauce and the corn was delicious, popped in my mouth like it should,, subtle flavor that hit all the right notes, balanced, not too creamy or too salty like a lot of elotes I've tried. Also had a mangonada because it was a hot day and I deserved a treat. Sweet, slushy mango and plenty of chile to make the perfect combo of sweet and hot. Loved it and will be going back to try more of the extensive menu. Great people at the counter. Rafa, from Veracruz was very friendly and loved chatting with him while waiting for the food. This was a gem of a find when we found ourselves way out in Hillsboro. I saw the mangonada on the list when we did a search for food nearby and thought we'd give it a try. I am so glad we did ! We opted for the crazy mangonada -- and it's like a party in a cup! It could easily be a good treat for someone having a bad day. For food we had the birria tacos, tosti esquites, and the al pastor nachos. We loved every single thing. Service was great and friendly, The ambiance felt like an old fast food place (dated) but who cares when everything was clean and maintained. If only I didn't live across town, I would probably be a regular here -- but if you find yourself in the area, it is definitely worth a visit. read more

Absolutely refused and up charged me to accommodate a tomato allergy. When I asked if they could sub the chips from one of the menu items they refused and said I would not be allowed to buy that specific menu item and if I did it would come with no chips and wouldn't be allowed to sub it out for anything else although the chips contained tomato. And again would not be allowed to sub it out for something that didn't have tomato which they did have in stock. read more
