I got the banana and chocolate yogurt with almonds and toffee. Omg...it was so refreshing ! I split it with my boyfriend and realized we should have bought a bigger cup..lol! Been here before and i enjoyed the yogurt. However today, I went in there at 6:00pm and as soon as I opened the door the worker with red hair yelled very rudely "we're closed" even though their business hours say they're open for another hour and customers were still in there checking out. Didn't appreciate the tone and definitely makes me not want to come back. They need to update their business hours or stop treating customers like shit when they're unaware of their closing time. read more

Stopped to get me and my 80+ parents a breakfast treat and coffee. No cold brew made here. Not mad about that. I got a brewed cup of coffee. Usual dispense yourself type deal. I'm working the air pump and it's sputtering. It's foaming. I'm pumping and pumping. I mention that it's probably about empty. Gal working says no it's fine. I keep pumping. Now I've got half a cup of coffee and half a cup of foam. Again I said I think it's pretty close to empty. She says no it does it at 1/2 full. I'm working TOO hard for a stinkin' cup of coffee. Usually one needs to pump about 3 times for a full cup no foam. After probably 40 pumps I'm feeling ridiculous, but I feel committed to this cup for my folks. It's finally almost full. I wanted to get 3 cups, but I'm just done. Who wants carpal tunnel for breakfast? I ordered a toasted croissant for my mom and it was small and disappointingly bland. The coffee was strong and good though. We shared the one cup. At this point I paid and left. Got my dad a breakfast sandwich at Subway 2 doors down. read more

Unfortunately several of the toppings I chose tasted extremely stale... not just texture stale, but like, rancid nuts. I question what their system is for keeping track of the many bins of toppings and how long stuff has been sitting in there. I know they do breakfast and other stuff I haven't tried yet, so keeping this review at 2 stars rather than 1. The frozen yogurt itself was tasty. read more

not sure what they are attempting to do with their hours. I went there the other night because they have a posted chalk board on the corner of the roadway stating open till 8:00. it was a few minutes before 7 and they were closed. This happened a while back as well. Baskin Robins has great hours and don't close early. read more

THE FROZEN YOGURT IS GROSS AND EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT IS. WE arrived at about 630 or so. We were not welcomed in. Got our yogurt and treats, it was gross. Almost $20 for two small cups of frozen yogurt. Even though we served ourselves and were just rang up at the register, we're still put under pressure to give a tip to the lady at the card machine. The best part though, we're sitting there eating our frozen gross yogurt and the lady just flips the lights off at 6:59 ( I looked at my phone). We thought they were open till 730 and even if they were open till seven anyway would've been more polite than shutting the lights off on us. I just turned to her and asked if they were closing she said yes, and we just left. The decor is dumpy and I could not believe that they had badly handwritten signs up telling you to put the handle back up on the frozen yogurt machine. Looks like they should be selling bait and tackle in there not frozen yogurt. Didn't catch the ladies name but looking at the reviews somebody snapped a picture of a woman saying she was very rude and it is the same woman that flipped the lights off on us. She said she wasn't the owner so if you are the owner reading this, maybe you should start addressing your employees unpleasantness. She's driving away customers, among other things. read more

Yogurt was good but lady working was rude. She yelled at us because we were throwing some gift wrap away from my birthday gifts. She proceeded to say that the trash can was only for customers. Mind you she had just checked us out 5 minutes prior to telling us this. read more

Stick to yogurt, guys. Sandwiches are gross, coffee is even worse. Do they even have a kitchen? Where can they prep ingredients? Are they slicing meats like on the cash register? But the yogurt is delicious and they have tons of toppings-- kids love it. My favorite is the pineapple. Hit the Subway next door for lunch-- but go ahead and follow up with frozen yogurt for dessert. Kids will love it. read more

I LOOOOOVE this place. I thought it was only frozen yogurt but then I saw the breakfast menu and I'm in love! One of the best Mochas I've had! Yummy beagle sandwiches! First of all the place had a horrible, strong odor. When I asked the only employee in the store, a woman with long black hair, "what was that odor?" She said, "People have been saying that all day, but I don't smell anything." I said, "Well it's very strong!" It smelled like burnt coffee or worse. I bought a frozen yogurt and put it on the counter. Without looking up she told me to put it on the scale, which I did. After I paid for it, once again without looking up at me she said, "You're all done." Wow! Really! I totally regret giving her a 10% tip. She didn't deserve a penny. Lousy customer service. Your customers are keeping you employed and keeping this company going. You might want to think about that next time you don't acknowledge or thank your customers. The bagels are awesome and the service is great because the staff are personable and attentive. The space is quaint and clean and I had the best halopena bagel with eggs and bacon! I'm visiting from out of town and I will always make a stop to this place. read more

This is a nice little shop. I'm happy that they include sandwiches and other items now, not just yogurt. But only one server there makes for slow service and the ordering process is bulky. They have the menus for frozen yogurt on a table and the rest on a wall menu. It is an odd placement and not easy to follow. The bagel sandwiches are great! I wish that they served sandwiches throughout the open hours, instead of stopping at 3 PM. read more

Crazy 4 Yogurt is a great edition to Penn Valley! The shop is super cute and has a really great layout. They always have 8 different flavors in and is a self serve shop. Lots of different toppings and really friendly staff. Also the store is always really clean. I don't get to come in as often as I would like but every time it's been really enjoyable. They also have really great hours.. they stay open until 10pm every night which is awesome since GV/PV/NC doesn't have a lot of things that stay open past 9pm. Not only this but they are really involved in the community. Next time you're in Penn Valley check out this locally owned yogurt shop! read more

Everyone knows Crazy for Yogurt is overpriced, but we splurge once in a while out of convenience. Recently I got super excited because I found out they were putting in a salad bar and were going to offer hot soup! I finally went in to try it out and although the salad bar was stocked with fresh lettuce and toppings I realized it was grossly over priced! In addition to my salad, I got a small cup of cream of broccoli soup. Unfortunately, I have nothing positive to say about the soup other than it was hot. It tasted like day-old, over heated, Campbell's condensed Cream of Broccoli soup. I ended up paying nearly $15 for the salad and soup. At that price I would have expected some homemade soup. Next time I'm craving soup and a salad, I'll go spend my money at Holiday. I love supporting local businesses, but I'm afraid going to Crazy for yogurt is just too over priced and I'll have to take my business elsewhere. read more

We love this place. The staff is amazing and super friendly. They have tons of toppings to choose from. But if the owners are reading this can you please switch the flavors up more?? Would come in much more often. Chocolate, vanilla, cake batter, and tart are ALWAYS there. They never change. So there is only 3 flavors that ever actually change and they are usually ALL fruit/sorbet flavors. Caramel, Oreo, Praline, Nutella, peanut butter - things like that would be a great addition! read more

We love it!!! My 3 1/2 yr old loves the idea of getting to pick out whatever he wants. The little kid's chairs make's him feel like a big kid! We try to visit twice a month and each time there is always new and wonderful flavors. A few off the wall flavors, but either way, they provide for all taste buds. Enjoy! After having dinner at Pleasant Valley Grill tonight, the kids begged to go get frozen yogurt. Since they behaved like normal human beings at dinner, we obliged. The yogurt shop was pretty cute. It happened to be double stamp Tuesday so we got 8 stamps for 4 yogurts. There were something like 8 different types of yogurt available. The amount of toppings were plentiful. They were well stocked and the place was clean. The main negative was that the hot toppings like hot fudge, marshmallow topping, carmael, etc were not hot, in fact, they weren't even warm. That was a bit of a bummer. Also, the canned whipped cream had a strange texture to it. When you ate it, it almost felt like there were little balls in it. Not creamy at all. I have never experienced that before. The woman running the shop was very sweet. We found out that she was the owner. She even turned off the Giants game temporarily because we had told her that we had it on the DVR at home waiting so we would be able to watch the playoff game. We had to run out to dinner in the second inning and we didn't want to hear anything about the game. Lol. Obviously we are pretty die hard fans. Another nice gesture was that she asked if we were part of the rewards plan. I have found that a lot of businesses don't necessarily like to promote ways to achieve free product in their shops. We will be going back for sure. Perhaps we will make visiting here and grabbing yogurt a Tuesday night tradition with the kiddos! read more
