Soooooo the craving for a red velvet cupcake hit me and unsure where to turn, my tried and true led me here to you!!! I walked in about forty minutes before closing and thought my cupcake dreams were destroyed as I walked in and saw the young lady cleaning the case. After asking if I was too late, she responded not at all. The case was empty but the cupcakes were in the back, she just had to "dress" the ones I wanted as the tags were still in the case. Undecided and greedy I begrudgingly went with a six pack. Four red velvets, one Black Forest and a something blueberry. So far I've only had one red velvet and it was yummy. Don't let all the icing fool you, it looks like a lot but it works well with the cupcake. The cake was moist so that was a plus. If you get your bite right, you get a perfect pairing that makes all red velvet dreams come true. Hopefully the other two will taste just as good. The inside of the cakery is a total vibe. It's something about the color turquoise that warms and pops any location. Seating is not plentiful but there is some seating gone had. Located in the strip mall, there's plenty to of parking. Not only do try have a check in offer but they also have a military discount, coffee, tea and make custom cakes as well. Officially cupcaked and happy with this experience!

Yum! After making a quick visit to IKEA, we took out our handy Yelp app and found this cupcakery. Free parking is available. The cashier is friendly and very helpful. Our goodies were wrapped up neatly. The cupcake shop is super cute and I love the decor in here. They offer cupcakes, cake pops, chocolate bars, and custom-designed cakes. We tried some of their cupcakes and cake pops. The cake is flavorful and not too sweet. The consistency isn't as fluffy and light as we'd like it, but it was still very tasty. The frosting is creamy, smooth, and sweet. Some of the cupcakes had fillings as well, which was a lovely surprise. Indoor seating is available. Restrooms are in the back and clean. I'm glad we got a chance to visit Cravings Cupcakery. If you check-in on Yelp, you get 10% off your order. If you're in the Woodbridge area, definitely check this cupcake shop out.

Health and safety violation!

Cravings Cupcakery absolutely ruined my peace of mind this past Saturday for my sons first birthday by not having our PAID FOR order ready. I tried to rally but was truly devastated. They apologized to my husband (who went to pick up the cupcakes and smash cake we talked about, ordered, and paid for on the way to my sons party) and said they would deliver the cupcakes in 30 to us. TWO HOURS LATER..in came a laughable mixmatch of cupcakes- Some were funfetti, some were vanilla, some tasted like cinnamon, other people said they tasted coconut. Luckily, none of the kiddos who ate some were allergic to any of the random assortment ..non of which we agreed on. *THE ICING ON THE CAKE* (pun intended) was when we finally cut open this massive "smash cake" they brought to us, there was a giant roll of PLASTIC inside it. I almost don't even have words for this. Like..What if I let my one year go to town on the cake and one of them choked on the plastic? Or cut it open at the party? Not to mention it's disgusting and a total slap in the face on top of everything. Finally, get this, no call of apology was ever made. Just a late night email saying they would take 100.00 off my order..implying that I was going to pay them ANYTHING after this nightmare! I made a few posts on my social media to make others AWARE because, duh, if you get good customer service you tell a few people but bad service you tell the world! And SO many people chimed in! Late orders, wrong orders, MOLDY CAKE POPS! How are they still in business? My dad (now retired) was the director of health and safety for a major organization. He'll be making a few calls to some health inspectors to check them out. Buyers beware!

How it started..

They did offer me a refund for the molded cake pop, but it wasn't worth the 40 minute commute. I'm hoping that with this review they will figure out a better way to rotate their food. I was told that these are rotated every 24/48 hours. That's been more than two days.

Cravings cupcakery is hands down one of the best bake shops in Woodbridge. The chocolate covered strawberries taste delicious and they use really big strawberries unlike other places I've ordered from. & they have countless cupcake flavors that are all excellent. The staff is super friendly here. I highly recommend getting all of your dessert/pastry needs from this establishment.

Man oh man. I wish i knew about this place sooner as often as i go to Woodbridge. We walked in 15 mins till close and we're greeted with a smile! Told there was plenty left if not shown in the case. They wrap up early & take leftovers to the shelters! That's so awesome. No waste & helping the community. Got 4 cupcakes: 1 marble, 1 raspberry & 2 red velvet. The raspberry was by far my favorite. The red velvet taking a 2nd place of course. I might have waited too long to eat the marble one because when i did it was kinda crumbly instead of moist like the others. I will def return!! They also offer military discount and if you check in with yelp, 10% off!

I was in the store when I send this reference picture.

I've never been so disappointed in a bakery like this I used to go their with my friends because their cupcakes were so good and so I decided to order a cake for my brothers birthday, I ordered the cake 3weeks ahead(nov 14th) and I was going to pick up (dec 4th) I did the order in person was their awhile and asking what flavors can go best, they seem kind and helpful. December 4th comes up and I call at at 10:56am to ask when I can pick up the cake since I had forgotten( I didn't know if it was 11am or 12pm) no one answers so I called again and again and I just left a voicemail to call me and let me know. I let another hour to past this time it was 12pm and just went down to the bakery and when I got there it was closed(12:30pm) and I worried because I needed my cake and I called several time and I even sent an email. I went back to my car and I had seen someone moving so I went back and just waited for them to open at this point I was upset because they knew I was outside and ( they didn't even answer their phone knowing I was outside) couldn't even open the door so I just started to knock because I just needed my cake and I was looking like a crazy person waiting outside the door and knocking. I had already seen a men on the back and stand there for more then 30mins, then went back to my car because it was getting cold and then I seen the man unlocking the door at 1:10pm, so that when I went in no one was in front but then a girl came up front and I told her" I came to pick up a cake order" she proceeded to tell me that the owner that makes the cake had an emergency and she couldn't make it and that she would send me an email about it. I was very upset and just wanted to cry because one I had no cake two I had left my brother without a cake that I paid in full since I had order it 3weeks ahead, I told her kindly that I wanted my money back and she proceeded to tell me I'll give her a call, like (I paid you to do absolutely nothing) I told the front girl "I understand emergency happened but you don't leave your customers on read and solve the problem by themselves", mind you they open at 9:30am they could've gave me a call at 9:30am past and let me know they can't do my cake instead they abuse my time and didn't let me know, after that I was rushing to some bakery's if they do a cake for me, in every voicemail and every email I had put my phone number in to call me, text me if anything happened , sincerely I was too nice and didn't argue with them or told them a lot of things like a upset customer would never going to recommend this place and never coming back to this place. Especially for the men owner that didn't want to give its face and let me know what was going on. Was hoping for him to just let me know they forgot my cake and couldn't make it and that they can give my money back Instead they made me wait and I had to ask to give my money back! Was really excited about this cake was a kind gesture for my brother but they really ruined my day, my time and patience. DON'T recommend! Doesn't even deserve one star I give it ZERO STARS(0) Below I will show proof of all the calls I made emails I made and when I send the picture for reference.

Thank you for making our cupcakes!

Loved how they customized the flavors I need for my cupcakes! Just enough sweetness, love the texture of the icing. My guests keep on asking where we got them. How I wish you place a logo sticker in each cupcake ;)

Chocolate, vanilla, confetti, apple, marble, and pineapple!

It's nice to know that Woodbridge has a local bakery whose owner was on Food Network's: Cupcake Wars! The cupcakes are delicious. Moist.. (I hate that word, but it's true!). My favorite so far is their Marble cupcake. The cake pops were so fresh and soft. I also ordered an iced coffee on a hot day which was definitely better than Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee, but not quite the work of a full on coffee shop. Oh! And if you're a Yelper, don't forget to check in! You may get a 10% off coupon!

6 classic cupcakes

I was hoping I just hit it on a bad day. I wanted it to be good. I wanted to support a small local business. But... the cupcakes ended up in the garbage. The cake was dry and tasted stale - like it had been around several days before selling it. The frosting was buttercream - which I normally love. But, it tasted like they forgot a few ingredients because it literally tasted like eating a stick of butter. I reached out to follow up and they insisted they were baked fresh daily and did not seem to care about my feedback. I had purchased these for my son's milestone birthday. It was supposed to be special. Instead, it felt like an April Fool's joke. He didn't finish it. We got 6 different flavors - we each tried two. All four of those ended up in the garbage after a few bites. The other two just went directly in the trash. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. To say we will never go back is an easy decision. I hesitated to share this review but felt it would be a disservice to future customers to not share our experience. I'm still hoping it was an off day but they did not offer an opportunity for us to bring them back or try to encourage us to try again so that leads me to think that they did not value our opinion or our business. So... I wish them well but needed to share our experience. It was very upsetting to have what should have been a special treat turn out to be trash ... literally inedible. I also got a Smores cake pop that looked good but also tasted ... well... disappointing... to put it mildly.

I had tried Casey's salted caramel cupcakes a couple months before for a friend's birthday and knew instantly I wanted her to make my cupcakes for my wedding in April. She was super accommodating and baked 10 flavors (6 cupcakes in each flavor) for my friends and family to try. Every flavor was a hit! I highly recommend the Chocolate Oreo, Strawberry Champagne, and the Red Velvet in addition to her signature flavor Salted Caramel.
